  If you use Bridge CC, update to the latest version 6.2. Adobe Bridge CC 6.2 version now available! Adobe content corner

  1. Please, do a right-click on the bridge on the desktop icon and select "Run as Administrator".
  2. If this does not help, reset the Bridge preferences and then try it.

  Steps: -.

  Start Adobe Bridge, and immediately press Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or command + Option + shift (Mac OS down) until the dialogue box reset settings appears.

  Select all three options - reset preferences, reset Standard Workspaces and all miniature Purge Cache - and then click OK.

  What system are you on? Did you run the Creative Suite cleanup tool inbetween that installation of your tent? If this is not the case, try this to produce a 'clean' with the default installation. Except that there could be a system specific to the issues at stake, but once again, we would need to actually know what system you are on...

• My Adobe CS4 Bridge does not open. Help?

  When I click on the bridge to open it, there is no error message, but it does not open.  It was working fine, then one day I tried to open it and it wouldn't.  Help, please!  The Adobe customer service is useless beyond this... has kept me on the phone on hold for 45 minutes and then referred me to chat and chat told me I didn't qualify for cat because of the version of PS I.  Ridiculous and I'm so frustrated right now!

  Hold down the Crtl (option on mac) and launch Bridge.  You will get a window to reset with 3 options.

  I intalled PS CS6 yesterday to see that Btidge does not open. I have looked for answers since then and have not yet found any. I reinstalled just to see if it would make a difference, but it didn't. I'm currently under Windows 7 64-bit. Photoshop runs great, the only problem is with the bridge, and apparently I can't get any help from Adobe until tomorrow

  Thank you mjw5997 for sending me the dmp file! We checked and found that it is a bug in code Brige.

  This launch issue occurs when you install Bridge CS6 on a machine with installed CS2 bridge.

  We can repair, but I don't know when the fix can be published. [Currently we have workaround: create an empty folder in C:\Users\[your username] \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\.

  Forgive me, this is my first time on the forum, but I scored my last message as "problem solved" and it turns out, is not.

  CC has been updated a couple of hours ago, and now the bridge will not be open. It randomly opens once, but I don't know which button does work, because I've tried everything I could think of, and the response has been very late in any case. I closed and now can't open, through Photoshop or the cloud creatives pop up. I'm working on a time-sensitive project and really need access to the bridge. Any ideas?

  We have released an update for Adobe Bridge (CC 2015) on 19 September 2016. The version number of the patch is 6.3.1.190. This update is available via the Adobe Creative Cloud application.

  We discussed some issues crash Bridge in this patch. Please try the new construction and are looking for the crash problems you encountered.

  You may need to update the creative cloud app and restart your computer to see the update patch.

• Bridge does not open images in PS CC (or give an option), instead it will open in PS CS6

  In addition, I can't put PS CC by default using Windows 8. PS CC does not appear on the list when choosing the default settings for the types of files, etc. When in bridge, images open in PS CS6 and is not available as a choice CC PS when I right click and click 'Open with' (open with is not on the menu more.)

  There are two bridges - one for CS6 and one for CC.  Make sure that you are in the bridge CC.

  I upgraded windows 10 anniversary update yesterday.

  Bridge was then updated by Creative Cloud app.

  Since then, bridge cc will not open on the icon in the start menu and the icon pinned to the taskbar.

  I get the following error message:

  Adobe Bridge: Bridge.ex - bad Image

  C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\\igdumdim64.dll is not designed to work

  on Windows or it contains an error. Try to reinstall the program

  using the original installation media or contact your system

  administrator or support software provider. The error status

  0xc000012f.

  When I close this message Bridge opens!

  Strangely, it opens correctly & properly if I open cloud creative app directly

  I have disconnected & back creative cloud but it made no difference.

  Any ideas what to do?

  I can't open files camera raw in bridge. I have a cc account. I did a test with an e-mail account other than the one I signed up with. Not sure if that affects anything but it says.something on initial demand of bridges is not active Bridge requires a product calling has been launched at least once. Photoshop is a product and I use it everyday so why am I having this problem on my new pc. Bridge works fine on my old pc obsolete.

  I just added the output module for my CC bridge and now it will not open it was working fine before. I uninstalled and reinstalled. I restarted the computer. I have no idea what to do now.

  I think that you must use the Adobe Cleaner tool to remove all the files associated with bridge CC, restart your machine and reinstall from creative cloud desktop application.
