Combine the witout downsizing PDF page size

Hello

I have Acrobat 10 Standard and you can combine several PDF in a single PDF file very well, but the size of the page does not remain the same. I start with 841 594 mm (pdf A1) and when the combined PDF file is created the size 420 297 mm (A3) page.  The files that I'm combining CAD and so important that they stay the same size and not reduced.

Can anyone help please?

Buzz

When you combine multiple PDFs single PDF file it automatically reduce the size of the font to Auto fit on the PDF page that is why he cut from A1 to A3. Well you have Acrobat 10, you need to change PDF page he stay format A1.

Update:

If you want to print that particular format A1 PDF, you can customize the page PDF following the steps here http://forums.adobe.com/message/1181043#1181043

  • Where the customized files are stored "Adobe PDF Page size"?

    Hello

I recently got a new computer - and on the old computer, there are several custom "Adobe PDF Page sizes" (used in the print dialog box).

I did a search on the old computer for .joboptions files and found the folder c:\Program files\Adobe\Acrobat 9.0\Acrobat\Settings, but I don't see not all files with names that match my custom formats (i.e. "Daves book cover"). I also did a search for the files named (for example) 'Daves Book Cover' nothing helps...

Any ideas where I might find these types of files in order to copy them to my new computer and I can't recreate from scratch?

    Thank you!

I think that they are stored in the registry. I look.

  • PDF Page size

    Hello

I use Adobe Acrobat Standard XI and conversion of websites in PDF format.  The size of the converted PDF pages seems to be always in 11 "x 8.5", although the PDF printer paper size is set by default to the A4 (11.69 x 8.26 in).  To avoid a distortion of the image, could you please tell how to set the page size automatically convert default on the A4 which is our standard paper size in our region?

You can specify the size of the page in the Web Page Conversion settings.

  • Choose the format of PDF page paper source

Acrobat Reader for Windows has an option that you can "Choose paper according to the size of PDF page source", on a double printer tray (i.e. brother DCP8080DN), filled with legal and letter paper, anything that will automatically print the size of the source document. Very useful when you have two documents in paper format in the same file.

Is there such an option in Acrobat Reader for Mac?

    Thank you

  • "The document contains multiple page sizes.

    I use ID 20141 on Windows 7.

I have a 60 page document, and whenever I want to print a page on my desktop printer, I get this message:

    2015-02-11_16-38-01.png

I haven't changed the size of these pages, and I don't see anything unusual when I go through the entire document.

There is no warning when I export to PDF.

    Here is my configuration document:

    2015-02-11_16-37-02.png

I have reset my preferences, nothing helps.

Export the file to idml did not help either.

I tried to print from other files, and it's the same thing on a file, others were ok.

    Any ideas?

It turned out that the control Page of DTP plugin has been installed. (by mistake)

    Removing it solved the problem.

    Thanks anyway!

  • PDF pages sizes

I'm assembling a PDF PDF, I downloaded from the web site of the manufacturer.  When I insert a page in my master document seems much more greater/smaller than the master even though both say they are the same percentage of size wise. Everything I've read here is not one (as all the pages of the same size) function in Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0.  I looked at another discussion and could not get what they described to work for me.  I will say that I am a noob with Acrobat after working with her for only a month or two and am not familiar with all the toys at my disposel.

    Thank you

You can play with the crop tool.

Select the entire page, click twice on the area and work in the format of 'change' paper box You should be able to set a custom size here.

Then, change the magnification of the same pages and click on connect.

    THE PROBLEM IS THE FOLLOWING

If you click on the link part, you get directed to the other page.

I need to somehow separate the link in the dropdown information

You can use the accordion as the intro text label and then the container would include the detailed format of the content.

  • Change the page size in a smaller format

    Hello

We have some problems resizing of a PDF document to a smaller size of the page (e.g. A4).

It seems that Adobe Acrobat Pro DC creates a PDF document with a page size that is larger than an A4 document in width.

We have already tried the following things:

    • We printed out the PDF file to an A4 document with the Adobe PDF printer, but this causes all our form elements to disappear. 90% of all form elements are not available in the printed PDF file.
    • We tried to set the page size by using options like Te 'organise pages' = > 'set page boxes' = > "Change Page size". However, when we try to set the size of the page on the exact dimensions of an A4 document, we obtain the well known error "Page Size cannot be reduced".

Finally, we used a trial version of MapSoft plugin for changed the size of the page of A4 document.

It works, but in our view, this should be possible in Adobe without use of external plugins. If we have missed some sort of option in Adobe Acrobat Reader Pro DC?

    Thank you.

P.S.: If the document does not have the exact size of A4 page, a part of the text does not fit into predefined on our template document boxes. In addition, the printed document alike on different printers if the A4 page size is not used.

The tool controls upstream allows you to change the size of the page.

  • Unable to set page size print PDF Word 2013

I'm trying to print from Word (on Windows 8.1) 2013 to the Adobe PDF virtual printer. I'm changing the page size to 6 "x 9" high, a size made to order, I created with the button "Add... "in the Adobe PDF Document Properties dialog box for the large Adobe PDF printer. If I change it there or in the Options dialog box advanced, after hit OK and the reopening, he switched to drag 7.5 x 10. I tried to change to the letter and it was always slipping 7.5 x 10 when I have opened the dialog box. How can I print a Word document in format PDF/X-1 has 2001 6 "x 9" PDF file? I use Adobe CS6 Master Collection. Thank you.

    Hi Greg,.

It seems that you do everything correctly and only thing you need to add here the page dialog box change size printed Word application.

Here are the steps mentioned below.

    1. Open the devices & printers in menu start. Right-click the Adobe PDF printer, then choose Printing Options.
    2. Go to page layout tab and click the Advanced button.
    3. Paper size dropdown, add a client PostScript Page size (i.e. 6 x 9).
    4. Now tab Adobe PDF settings, add 6 x 9 under Adobe PDF page size drop-down Page.
    5. In MS Word application, choose file > print. Select Adobe PDF as the printer and click on the printer properties button.
    6. Check here for printer Adobe PDF Page size. Then click on Ok after checking all the settings. (ideally it should change)
    7. Then click on Page Setup in the print in Word dialog tab paper size 6 x 9 on page.
    8. Print the document.

I would like to know if it works for you.

    Thank you

  • Printing more than one page in a single PDF file size

Hi there, some background everything first: I have a Mac with Mac OS 10.9.5, and I am trying to print from Adobe Reader v11.0.10 PDF files that contains pages with various page formats (some pages are letter, other legal size) in the same document. I have a printer Brother Laser (HL-6180DW) which has several trays and a tray for each paper size.

The printer can automatically can print documents containing multiple pages with different paper sizes for the for the paper tray right when I use Microsoft Word to print. However, if I have a PDF file and you try to print from Adobe Reader, all pages come out like 8 x 11. I selected the option in the reader print dialog that says "Paper Source to choose the PDF page size" but this does not seem to make a difference. However this same document on a windows 8.1 uses the same version of Adobe Reader and print to the same printer, prints the document with the different paper sizes automatically if I select this option to print. I tried this same test with 3 or 4 different PDF files from different sources, and the results are always the same - works on the PC, does not work on Mac. Would appreciate any ideas on how to make this work the Mac.

  • How to enlarge a PDF page? (wider or taller than the original)

Is it possible to enlarge a PDF page size and change its proportions by ADDING space?

Note that I want to ADD white space. I don't want crop with the crop tool, which is smaller than the existing page.

In PhotoShop, this is easily done by increasing the size of the canvas. You choose a dimension, select where to add extra space and add it.

I have a book that is poorly positioned on the output PDF page layout. Him just move environ.25 inches but it would be a tough job to redo the entire text frame in InDesign.

    Thank you

    .

In Acrobat 9, select: Document > Pages of culture > change Page size

    Acrobat 10: Tools > Pages > Crop > double-click page > change Page size

You can select a range of pages too.
