Compiling C++ under XP

You can use Borland to compile C++ XP programs? If yes how?

Hello 74yearoldguy,

According to my knowledge on this, you should be able to install the compiler Borland on Windows XP. I suggest that you install the compiler and then you must set the environment variable to the location of the location of the Borland compiler.

However, I suggest that you post your question to the MSDN Community for a better answer to your question. Here is a link that you can follow to ask your question:

• Compilation of FPGA hangs in LV2014SP1

Hi all

I've recently updated to LV2014SP1 of LV2014. Since then, I can't compile my FPGA VI locally for a project (cRIO9067), which was done in LV2014. Whenever I try, the compiler will in the step of "logic optimization. Then, after severyl minutes, vivado.exe drops to 0% CPU usage and are still just there indefinitely. After a long period without increasing time CPU for vivado.exe, the worker of compilation obviously restarts the compilation and the same thing happens again. Yesterday I let sit for 4 hours, and when I think about it, vivado.exe had consumed some time CPU 36 minutes and that he was still sitting there with 0% CPU usage.

When you use a server compilation (still under LV2014), the VI compiles fine from the same project on the same PC! In addition, compilation of other screws FPGA for the same thing and other targets (cRIO9030) works locally.

The same problem occurred on a second PC that has also been upgraded to 2014SP1. Even up until 2014 with the toolkit and FPGA Xilinx 13.04 time has not helped - I can not always compile.

Any ideas or similar problems anyone?

• URLRequest (?) compiler error IOS

I noticed a mistake that occurs only after I exported in my iPhone for additional tests.

I have a function on my App that tests if the user has access to the internet so that they can use additional features (log in, scores, updates, etc.). Please note that theerror that it does NOT occur if I run the application as a .swf. The .swf works fine. Before ask you, yes my phone is currently online. In fact, a previous version of my application, I did in Flash can connect to the internet, but my recently 'upgraded to Animate"version cannot. Same code. I use the latest available SDK (22.0.0.153)

Here is the code because I know someone will ask. I am sure that it is a kind of question when the .swf is converted into a .ipa, so I doubt anyone can help me other than the folk of Adobe... which I hope to see this and to provide assistance, so I can get out an update. I've been using this code example for these past two years with great success, but now all of a sudden it doesn't work.

It is not easy to give an answer when given of misleading information. for example, or code snippets that you have posted will compile even under any version of air. It is likely that you have failed some of your code and making it more difficult to debug.

It is even doubtful that your title is correct as (far as I know) there is no 'new' compiler error in SDK sdk 22 vs 17. so, if you really have the varialbe "online" typed in the scope of your code posted somewhere, there will be no compiler error in 17 and none in the 22 sdk sdk.

who says:

(1) to install previous versions of app: just after the point 1/2 towards the bottom of the page is a portal showing how to install previous versions, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/download-install-app.html

(2) for other SDK, find and download archived Adobe AIR SDK versions

(3) once fix you the problems and see no compiler error (if you don't really see everything), you will probably meet most of your problem: a failure of your application to work when it is installed because of updated air for safety (from the air 20) ios app that you can resolve by updating your app descriptor by adding :

The CBLBLD. BAT file will create the directory to compile for you, if it does not already exist.

Also ensure that you have write permission < compile player > and < build directory > as the compilation process will take place there.

For example, the following command will have the \src\cbl < PS_HOME > COBOL source and compiling process under c:\temp\compile:

• conditional compilation

I use flashbuilder 4.5 (on windows) and for some reason any I can't get conditional compilation to work trying to pass in strings.

I tried the examples in this link http://livedocs.adobe.com/flex/3/html/help.html?content=compilers_21.html and to pass boolean values, it works fine, but trying to pass a string in and runs aground (gives of errors).

Now I've done it before (quite a ago now) and I remember that it just worked so would work something like this (from the previous link)

-define += BUILD::TEST, 'Blue' (this placed in the additional compiler arguments under Properties box)

then in the code

BUILD::TEST

public var testString: String;

then would the word 'Blue '.

But what I get is errors like below

Mistakes like "1008: attribute is not valid."

or

"The initializer of a configuration value must be a compile time constant."

All the ideas that I am missing or is it does not work correctly now in flashbuilder 4.5?

The doc said it should look like:

public const testString:String = BUILD::TEST

• PictureScrollField + 6.0 = > resizing of images

Hi everyone, it's me again.

I have a compiled application under 5.0 that great workd with touch device like storm (5.0), but which has some leaks when I start under 6.0

I have a pictureScrollField that hold virtually all the screen, less than 5.0, when an image is smaller that the space has allowed the pictureScrollField, then it's a painting just like that, centered on the screen but not resized.

Under device 6.0 or simulation (torch), the bitmap are resized every time.

I checked the PictureScrollField 5.0 documentation which stated that "image not are NOT resized.

Any clue?

I have found no solution so I started to create new Bitmap from the one i dl.

Like this:

Bitmap resizedBitmap = new Bitmap(360,480);
Graphics g = Graphics.create(resizedBitmap);
g.setColor(Color.BLACK);
g.fillRect(0, 0, 360, 480); bitmap.scaleInto(resizedBitmap, Bitmap.FILTER_BILINEAR, Bitmap.SCALE_TO_FIT);

• Pack component 4.7 - Overview icon does not change

Hello

I use Eclipse. Compilation with BB component pack 4.7.

I have a master project (CLDC) and a second project (CDLC replacement Entry Point). The second project is checked system and startup.

Note: the second entry point was to record a personalized for the app, not on the icon menu item.

I right click on the "main" project-> properties-> Blackberry Project Properties-> resources.

I select an icon file (1.png) in the dialog box "files of icons".

I select a second (2.png) icon file in the "Icons of focus files" dialog box.

I clean, compile, run under a 'new' "BOLD" Simulator (9000) and my app has the icon "no-focus".

When I reversal, it does not change.

What I've read, 4.7 is supposed to make this easy. It seems to be advantageous, so I don't know I'm missing something that is obvious (to everyone except me). I am new to Java and Eclipse, but really get the hang of it... so far, it's...

Does anyone have any ideas why this might not work?

Thank you!

You project must have an entry point with parameter. This additional entry point must be defined as "Autostart". Add the parameter's main entry: gui

• How to recompile the COBOL files?

Hi all

Can anyone provide some documentation to see how to recompile the COBOL files using Net Express 5.1 in the command prompt?

Thanks in advance.

Thank you and best regards,
Siva Prasad B

1. set up two environment variables, PS_HOME and COBROOT, on the computer where you are going to compile COBOL. (This should be your file server or a machine that has access to your file server.) You can do this from a DOS command prompt window.

Set PS_HOME = C:\hr840
Set COBROOT = c:\netexpress\base

2. open a DOS commands prompt window, if you have not already, orders and access
\Setup.

3. run CBLBLD. BAT as follows
cblbld
where is the drive where the compilation takes place, is the temp
Directory where the compilation is done

The CBLBLD. BAT file will create the directory to compile for you, if it does not already exist.

Novel make sure to include a space between the and parameters; they are treated as two different settings within the CBLBLD. Bat batch program. Also to ensure that you have permission write to and that the compilation process will take place there.

For example, the following command will have the COBOL source of \src\cbl and the compilation process under c:\temp\compile:
cblbld c: \temp\compile
Take note of the information that appears on the screen during the process is running. It provides the location of important files that you need to consider.

Sorry, the (x 86) is something that Windows Add if you are on a 64 bit system and install 32-bit applications. Native applications go in Program Files without the (x 86), but if you use 32-bit windows, you'll see little. So if you see that in a way, I post, you can skip a little and pretend it says only: "Program Files."

As for your problem, it seems that it is a bug of Visual Studio. I found a Microsoft KB article that seems to sum up your problem:

http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/969866

In a Word, it is said that if you install C++ but do not install c#, it will fail to install the cl.exe you need to compile things correctly - which resembles what happens for you! I would try and see if it solves your problem. I'm crossing my fingers!
