  Decision to store static content on the Application Server or Server Web is dependent mainly on below facts.

  (1) total size of static content
  (2) frequency of use of static content
  (3) Machine accommodated for application server performance
  (4) the network speed between the Web and application servers
  (5) level of security of the information processing application and pages
  (6) is static content created on demand?
  (7) review delays in deployment and added additional efforts.

• Contents of the application - security?

  Hello, my request currently is based on a series of text files that are packed with my request. What I wan't to know is this. The user final (customer/consumer) has access to these files? Can we connect their Playbook to their computer and browse the files in a way any? If I should reconsider the method I use to store the data type that I am clean.

  Currently I do not use a database, because my program collects certain information based on text files that I can in the stage of development simply drag into my program.

  While nothing official has been said so far, I have reached the following conclusions based on what I've seen so far.

  1. the data written on the "folders" (e.g., File.userDirectory) are not sure.  Other applications can be read, and although we don't have the details, it seems very likely the PB will be connectable to a PC as a 'mass storage device' and the user will be able to transfer files and folders.

  2. the data written on an app File.applicationStorageDirectory should be reasonably safe.  Any other apps should be able to reach it, or for a list of what is there to read.  Try to do that now on the Simulator, and if you get to it, it's probably a serious bug that QNX will be very interested.  (There is a '-devMode ' package/deploy option which is deliberately intended to get around that, for purposes of development, but only on the apps install, not only the apps.)  And it does not work immediately anyway...)

  Note that data written to the file appStorage is not encrypted, or whatever it is, by default.  In theory, if someone has stolen your PB and hacked it open, they could probably extract flash memory chips and recover data without ever needing the OS (different identifiers etc.) protections that provide protection above.

  I can't tell from a first glance if flash.data.EncryptedLocalStore would protect the data in the scenario above.  The latest updates to the SDK doc say it is available on the PlayBook, so you can see if it seems appropriate.  I have the impression that it's adequate protection only from other users on the same computer, but not necessarily someone who can capture the image of the entire disk.

  There is also the ability to flash.data.SQLConnection encrypt a SQL database.  This looks like it would support real encryption that would provide protection even if the flash chips were physically extracted.

  I had an initial concern about the use of encryption in an application because of the various clauses in the agreement of world App that put restrictions on what you can use encryption for.  It seems to me that simply encrypt data privacy with a password entered by the user, would be in conflict with these terms.

  In the last day or two, however, I saw a note which included a list of the things that the encryption has been authorized for (probably in the updated docs?), and was one of those expressly listed something like "Data confidentiality" (probably not the same used sentence), so it sounds like it would be a good war after all.  (Someone else has a link to what?)

• Cannot remove from the applications folder

  Having a problem of deletion of any application in the Applications folder. I use El Capitan 10.11.6.

  If I try and drag any application to the trash or command + DELETE, I get the message 'the point 'whatever' cannot be moved to the trash, because some of its extensions are in use.

  I can delete if I use Option + command + DELETE and enter my password.

  So far I have tried:

  Restart

  First aid in disk utility

  But even in the recovery mode

  Repair of permissions through terminal

  Verified that the application is in fact all running processes

  Content of the application open and plugins will be removed.

  FWIW, any application installed with the operating system should not be deleted.

  Some third-party applications must be uninstalled from their own uninstall program.

  I am designing a site and on a single page, I use two tabs to separate the two different types of content.  A tab has more content and is therefore more time on the page. But I noticed that MUSE using whatever tab is the longest as a basis for how long is the page. That's fine then on this tab, but on the other tab, it makes the page much longer (piles of dead space) then it must be.  Is there a way to get around this, or is this a limitation of muse?

  in the meantime found the solution:

  Downloaded 'junction link magic', then created a junction between C:\Users\PC\Document\Ifolor and C:\Users\PC\Ifolor.
  the Ifolor application is duped and works very well in the right place.
  Yet, there is the shortcut of junction that show under the terms of the Document, which is fixed by hiding with folder (properties)

  Hi all

  We have a portal web Center running application to our company. After it has been deployed in the production environment, a member of the admin team added some content on some pages using the Oracle WebCenter Portal administration Console. Now, there are a few requests of change that we are working on the same application. Every time we complete the change and it is deployed to the integration and Production environment, content published by the administration team is lost. They are having to redo this content on this page on any redeployment of the application. It always happens in integration / prod environment. Is there a way, that when redeploy us the application, we do not replace the content already added to the pages of the application?

  Or do we need to perform the same content in the Jdeveloper environment and produce some deployable for this be packed with deployment files? Please let us how we can resolve this situation. Thank you.

  We found what was the problem that was causing the above behavior. According to the guidelines of this doc (WebCenter portal deployment: Applications Framework - 11 g Release 1 (11.1.1.6.0)), all content added to the pages, should be retained even after the redeployment. Only changes made to the navigation model must "round-trip on development." Added content on the pages after that initial deployment runtime does not "round-trip on development."

  The question was essentially in the way in which the application has been deployed. Each time, the new version was to be deployed we were not deployment out the version of the application and the deployment of the new version. Now, we have used "Redeploy" option to deploy the release. This fixed our problem. The content is now kept after the new deployment version too. It was also important to use the same MDS and Partition repository for deployment after the addition of the duration of the content to the pages.

  You should have a backend (your own server or some 3rd party) where you can manage the new data.

  The backend should provide Web services with the data (JSON or XML).

  I wonder if you can encounter the same problem I am. The same thing happens to me, however, rather than force quit Lightroom, I let stand for about 5 minutes and then everything seems to work. Are you using 2015.4? If so, you could try to roll back to 2015.3, which is what I've done Adobe sinus support could not solve my problem. You can also try to create another user account and open Lightroom. The problem is gone then, and this is the point at which Adobe support said it was an OS X problem and not a problem of Adobe.
