Correction of the goal out of the Center

Please excuse me if I'm missing the point. I wanted to ask a question on the Lens Correction in Camera Raw that had bothered me, as I looked in the customization of the PCL files.

One of the parameters in the format of LCP file is ImageXCenter (and ImageYCenter). The default value of 0.5, which I guess means ' to Midway through the image ", that is, dead-center. Is this coordinate the base to the center of the distortion or tile, or chromatic aberration, all three adjustments?

I appreciate that the lenses are not perfect, and that the imperfections can be biased. But these imperfections would be identical across many copies of the same lens - that is (for example) could all the 50 mm/1.4 lenses have the same X / Center's contact information?

On the one hand, it is possible that the manufacturing process of a particular lens produces also asymmetrical results; However, the process could produce lenses that are roughly symmetrical, but with slight variations from all sides. I don't know, I don't do lenses, and I'm not used to measure their flaws.

Then, is what confuses me - while I understand the usefulness of the coordinates of Center in the profiling of your own lenses - is it wise to Adobe to provide profiles of biased target coordinates to the general public?

As I have explained earlier, the optical center of a lens does not necessarily correspond with the center of the image (even if a lens is perfectly centered around its own planned optical Center).  This is systematic behaviour (i.e., no-unit of behavior).  In other words, you can calculate the value center for multiple units of the same lens, their average together and get something different from 0.5.

  • Correction of the Lightroom 2015.6 goal does not automatically detect lens

    Hello

The last update seems to have removed the lens correction option activate in the lens correction Panel (there are three check boxes, now there are only two).

Now when I check activate profile corrections, or the auto default options are able to detect the lens I used to take the picture. Lightroom has said that it is "impossible to locate a matching profile automatically.

When I manually select the lens seems to apply appropriate adjustments. But I really don't want to have to select the brand and model whenever I want to apply the correction manually, especially considering I shoot with different objectives.

Is there a setting I need to change so that Lightroom automatically detects the lens used, or is this a bug?

I shoot with a Canon 6 d. When I check the EXIF data in the module library all the relevant information is still there, lens of the camera body used etc.

    Thank you

LR CC 2015.6 using, I can import a 6 d test image I downloaded from the internet, enable Auto or defect in the purpose of plant and it detects the lens this particular test image was taken with:

If you want to download an example image that does not work for you to www.dropbox.com then others can take a look to check if there is a problem with the LR or something that happens on your computer.

  • Correction of the goal will be not objective to detect and fix automatically

I'm having a time with lens correction LR 3.2 function, but it does not auto detects the lens.  I have all the profiles loaded, I checked.  I convert all .dng .nef format.  (Nikon shooting game)  When I activate profile corrections configuration button changes Custom and the "maker" lens drop-down profile says nothing?  and on the bottom it reads "Unable to find a matching profile automatically." If I change do so at Tamron by selecting it manually, for example, he finds the profile and all is well.  How in the hell I put in place for the connection profile is automatically enabled and the right lens appears without intervention?  Hope someone can help with this... I work through 500 down selects, and it would be nice to solve this problem.

I can see all lens info in metadata on the screen normal library?

Thanks a lot for your help in advance!

    If you are Tamron lenses...

Here is a quote from a post by Eric Chan (one of the developers of LR/ACR):

Re: the Sigma 10-20 issue. Unfortunately, we cannot always automatically determine with 100 percent certainty the identity of the lens used to rotate the image. We try to be conservative. So if in doubt, we do not choose one automatically. For some third party lenses, this can occur. By choosing Sigma of the popup to do is the right thing to do in this case.

However, you can try the following trick:

    1. Choose an image taken with a Tamron lens.
    2. Go to the correction of the lens. (The lens profile auto-detection is supposed to be impossible at the moment.)
    3. Choose the Tamron and the profile in the list.
    4. Falling to the bottom of the list of parameters and choose 'save new lens profile Defaults.

This should rememeber optical configuration (slider and profile) for the camera/lens combination given.

You can also use a develop preset to apply a correction of the lens quickly.

  • by comparing the average centroid location to the location of the center of gravity measured

I'm using labview 2015 to design a laser alignment system, using a contoller ag - uc2 and an optical mount piezo driven two webcams. The establishment, is that the webcams are positioned behind the mirrors, which are somewhat permeable, so the webcam will get a shot where the laser beam is pointed. The laser must be aligned manually first, and after that it is satisfied with the alignment, this program will be run once to run in the background. control the position of the laser a few times per minute to correct the thermal drift. After it is first of all, I would like the program to take maybe 10-15 images, to find a location to center of medium severity on each of the mirrors, then switching to compare new images of this center of gravity of the model. My problem is that I can't imagine a way to get a picture of model and have that info Reports to the next iteration of the while loop to the overall program be carried out. I have tried using the structures of the case, which, I imagine, will eventually be the solution, but it did not work as expected. I put the case structure to run based on the value of the indicator loop iteration of the main loop, and I got a while loop in there with registries to raise the center of gravity of this loop and store this information for the next loop to shift. I can see after running the program why my implementation does not work, but I don't know how I can design something that will have an average of several images. I think I should use learn and compare the model, but I don't know how I can convert a cluster (centroid) type of data appropriate for the model comparistion live if you have any suggestions for my existing code or want to offer a different approach, I appreciate it. Also let me know if you need any other screws included.

In the past, when I had to switch between two 'modes', if you do, I used two consecutive loops while, one for the first mode and one for the second, or I would put Boolean register to indicate that, two modes, the loop was offset.  If you start in a mode, and then more later switch to another once and only once, then you can use a node 'OR' like a lock to power the old way, so the first true feed you of keeps it true until the next time that you run the VI and it returns false.

I would also add that I looked your VI and the method that you use on average 10 images, while innovating, is usually not a great plan.  Instead of having 10 shift registers build an array of fixed size, just have a table in a shift register, add each new measure at the end and the VI means in the range of mathematics/statistics to calculate the average.

  • How to the center of the map is centred over the scale of the map

    Hi all

I created a mc that works like my card and go with that of controls which allow the card be moved and key target of the navigation and zoom in on at different zoom levels.

I use scaleX and scaleY to scale the mc card and a list of x and is positioned correctly the position of the sheet for each KeyPoint. The mc card begins at the scale 1:1 with the screen ratio and its registration point is at 0,0.

When I want to go to a certain area I this calculation (offsetX and offsetY are at the center of the screen and posX and posY are offsets predined on the map):

    Agree = posX * scale + offsetX;

    y = bouquet * scale + offsetY;

Then I tween the position and scale of the map smoothly at the scale and move the map to the correct position:

    Tween var = new TweenLite (_background, EASING_SPEED, {x: agree, y: Y, scaleX:scale.getScale (), scaleY: scale, facilitated: E ASING_TYPE, onComplete:moveToComplete, onCompletePar ams:[room]});})

I now need to implement a zoom in / out function and that's what I'm struggling with. The zoom has to use the center of the screen as the reg for the scale, so I tried something in the sense of the following to get the right x and position put after the scale:

    var agree = (_background.x * scale) + offsetX;

    var = y (_background.y * scale) + offsetY;

I know that it won't but I showed you this to give you an idea of my train of thought, I need to work on this new x and will be there to ensure that the area that is to be zoomed on, rest in the center of the screen.

So in my mind it gets the distance between the current position of the map to the center point of the screen (offsetX, offsetY) and then changing this distance by the new scale.

However, it is clearly wrong, because it is not working and the positioning of the card does not.

If someone could shed some light on where I'm wrong, I would be really grateful that I have a deadline for the first thing that Monday!

    Thanks in advance

Since Apple decided to abandon the center of games tab of my friends in the game does not load automatically and I have to go to GC icon and tap the circle of friends so he could load several times, MORE we continue to request if I want to use my game stored locally or my stored GC game. I refuse to install iOS 10, because it means of course I won't be able to manually load the tab my friends and my losing my game completely. How can I fix it? Remove the Center game is the worst thing that Apple could have done, in my humble OPINION.

You will not lose your game entirely. I have several games of game Center, and they work fine. And I understand the developer of a game that this game center continues to store the backup of your game.

It's just that now friending is handled via the interface of the game. The only options that you have in iOS10 is to go to the settings panel in / log out of game center or remove all friends. And none of the games I play has updated so I can see how their friending works with iOS10.

Beyond providing the basic interface, Apple seems to have turned all aspects of the social game on the games themselves.

  • 15 "MacBook Pro early 2011 screen and use failure, horizontal lines, edges off the coast of the center of the screen

    Hi there-

recently worked when all of a sudden my screen turned to a variety of 'snow '. After about 2 seconds, he stopped, but the screen was seriously messed up. Horizontal lines apart a few millimeters, but the lines look as if they were moving a little. In addition, the edge of the screen is now near the Center, rather than on the edge of the physical screen. So, there is a black bar halfway in the screen which cut into 2.

It froze the computer as well, if I pressed the power to restart. It loaded very well through the screen of apple, but as soon as he hit the login screen, he returned to no usable lines. Cannot get back in.

Anyone that prior experience, or know what I can do to get out of trouble? Looks different from most other 'horizontal' issues I found in searching.

    Photo attached.

    Thanks and best,

  • Effect on correction of the CJC to use copper instead of type thermocouple extension cables

Hello people. It is is a kind of "phenomenological" question, lumping together a bunch of real problems. Type of hope that someone had experience try this and can give me an advice.

I'm looking to make measurements of temperature relatively high speed with very fine wire of type K or N thermocouples.

I will be very many TC - about 75 in quantity and therefore will be, if it works well enough, wire the asymmetrical (I trading accuracy for amount in light of the SCB-two 68).

My complete data acquisition system is:

    Computer PXI

    PXI-6225

    (Qty 2) SCB-68

QUESTION 1: Any recommendations in the configuration of these two NRSE or GRSE? The device, I am close to (but not electrically in contact with) is completely without merit (experience of combustion). TC fine wire is indeed very thin, and their not armoured lengths will be about 12 ". There is no significant EMF/EMI around my experience. I will experiment but just wanted to know if anyone can rule something here...

    QUESTION 2:

    Important points:

    • I want to use type N for additional above K to my temperature range and also because that N-type are available in smaller caliber (0.003 ") and stability welded end to end.
    • Unfortunately, I n ' t has a bunch of N type connectors - if I have to use/buy the N type connectors this is a significant cost (see the stop).
    • My Setup has the TC in the physical location of 'groups' of 7. Given the asymmetric configuration, I have 7 anodes and 1 single "reason" for each "group" - for a set of 8 wires out of each "group".
    • I need to connect on the order of 80-wire in both SCB-68. I try to minimize the number of threads that I have to deal with.
    • Omega does not sell single conductor wire anode and cathode for the N-type as they do for K-type. They sell only duplex son.
    • Omega is also not sell armored bundles of type N, as they do in K-type
    • If I use type N TC and I use the real N type extension wire, it will have to be duplex (because of two previous points) - it's something like 80 PAIRS of wiring, with one of the sons of the cathode on most of the wires not used (because of the asymmetrical configuration).

It seems that I must consider the following compromise:

Use the TC type desired N and treat approximately 80 pairs of duplex wire extension of type N OR less desired TC type K and purchase grouped, shielded wiring to minimize the mess of wiring GOLD copper use extension (WHAT?)...

Yes! Why can't I use the copper wire extension to the fine N TC of the cable type and connect to the TC with a kind of nonmetallic connector (like screws nylon) or solder? The attraction here is that I could use the signal wire 8 drivers together, to each of my TC 'groups '. This would reduce and clean my wiring and not need to buy all type N connectors (TC would be wired, no connector involved).

It seems to me that I could simply set up the cold welding (CSF) on board the SCB-68 fixed to work on N-type. Copper wire would result of the SCB-68 the TC type N. No metal connectors would participate. Thusly, being only one junctions P/OMEGA-copper and copper/OMEGA-N to deal with the CCM. This sounds like it would be exactly the same as a N-type wiring directly into the SCB-68, except that there may be error between the temperature reading to the CJCS and the junction of alloy copper/OMEGA real. This won't be a significant error because the two locations will be very close in temperature.

If this "mistake" of temperature becomes a concern I can mount a TC that is unique to the copper/TC junction and make my own corrections (I think...)

Here is a little schematic text (without taking into account all shunt connections in the CSR circuits...):

Any circuit anode/channel: SCB-68 Terminal-> extension copper-> (direct connection via the non-metallic connector) OMEGA-P of the N type TC

Common ground circuit/channel: SCB-68 Terminal-> extension copper-> (direct connection via the non-metallic connector) OMEGA-N to the N type TC

This idea implies that the circuit board within the SCB-68 has copper conductors, such as the addition of copper extension wire would not create an additional junction.

Anyone tried this? Can someone offer me some ideas?

    THANK YOU in advance!

    Henrik-

Thanks for the very useful reply. Yes, I forgot to mention that the lengths of wire extension will be the order of 1 m, then resistance extension must be low, even if common ground is used as part of an arrangement of asymmetrical circuit.

    ...

    Here's my last logic!

    • If my experience shows that the single-ended NRSE GRSE arrangement response or "match" the differential response conservative, I will choose asymmetric for more sampling points.
    • Since I know the extension wire / TC to the ASE will be nearly isothermal with the CBS itself, I would like to use the extensions of copper and accept (and possibly correct?) the error based on the temperature. I would like to use threads, as this I need 7 + and 1 ground by grouping of 7 TC to my DUT (Recalling)-> http://www.newark.com/jsp/content/printCatalog.jsp?cat=c127&page=1199&display=zoom
    • If during the examination of the previous point, I find that copper extensions are NOT practical and I need to use tank extensions of TC-metal all the way, then I choose a TC type K on an N-type. The reason is that there are many more options for tanks, bundled extension cable type K (N-type is apparently a sort of new and not very popular). However if copper extensions are possible, then I'll use the TC type N, motivated by their superior high temperature oxidizing atmosphere stability and the fact that I can get them in a configuration welded end to end to 0.003 "caliber!

If none of this logic seems faulty or unrealistic, I would appreciate it really more input! I don't know that it will be a lot of work!

    Thank you once again,

    Dan,

I've marked the important phrase what you're actually doing is moving the CCM of the CBS for the TC/copper connection. Any difference in temperature will directly add to the error.

However, don't try to save the copper with your approach to 7 + 1, ask IT for another 12 m Ethernetcable guys more and go with 7 * 2 + 1 pair of reserve and make the summary at or near the CBS. IF you need a differntial measument system later, you need to rebuild all connections. (And not just add a new cable for all conical fittings, it is the twisted pair that makes the magic Yes, same vor 1 m!) Remember that you are dealing with µV! And since you want to quick reads without filter a lot of way, do not try to save $10 to about 12 m of cable. Somehow I have the feeling that you try you anyway

  • Resize the Checkbox control to the Center

I am trying to create a typedef of checkbox corresponding to a checkbox system at the center of a resizable rectangle. At the moment I have a flat box aligned on the box, but when I resize the control, the box remains in the same place. How can I get the checkbox to automatically align the centre when the control is resized? Thanks for the help!

I know that this probably isn't the right way to do it, but I created an array of clusters, in which I put in place a couple flat Boolean as left and top of the page buffer, then the checkbox. With the help of a simple VI, it calculates the correct size of the two buffers to center the checkbox in the space.

So the end result of an element of the table looks like this (with everything except the transparent box).

  • Can't move screen back to the Center

My whole screen is left and I can't get rid of the space on the right. I think that it is supposed to be a sidebar, but there is nothing else than the black space. I can't reach anything on the left side of the screen. How can I get rid of the space on the right side and move my screen back to the Center?
