CP 9 buttons in bottom layer are active through upper layers

Hello!

A colleague and I live a problem with the buttons to the Cp9.  We have not tested other types of buttons, but it certainly seems to affect intelligent form buttons.  In previous versions of Captivate, when a shape with an opacity of 100 covers a button (cache), it is not possible to click on this button.  In Cp 9, however, the buttons are active even when they are buried under several layers of forms.  We even had a problem with the lower buttons interfering with the buttons that show above them.

It causes problems on slides with show and hide actions. For example, we have a few thumbnails that when clicked, show a lightbox, a larger version of the image with a close button - the problem is that the buttons under the close button so seem to have precedence over the button close above them.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?  Is there a Cp 9 parameter that we are missing?

Thank you

Paul

Even in older versions of Captivate, concealing an interactive object with a non-interactive object never disable this item, at least not in SWF-output. You had to disable the button to make it inactive. OK, it's that there are many versions hide the normal buttons, automatically disabled them. Showing these buttons automatically allowed them, and this is not always the case for form buttons. This means that I have a totally different experience of yours on the cover of the form buttons.

For HTML output, I discovered recently that this workflow makes the inactive button in some cases, but it is not consistent.

The more secure workflow, as in the case of use that you described, is to always disable buttons you want to be active. It also means that you will need to enable them. As I said several times in my blog is NEVER a good idea to have two (or more) interactive objects in the same place at the same time!
