• OIM 11 g: create rules programmatically

  We need to create rules that are similar to the following:
  
  ORG1 Head Office User
  ORG1 user
  The retail user and Org2
  
  Currently, we can do it with rules and roles if we create the following rules:
  
  Rule 1: Head Office user: items: ((UDF_LOCATION == 123) OR (UDF_LOCATION))
  Rule 2: Org1 Head Office User: items ((organisation == Org1) AND (Head Office User rule))
  
  I can add it 'Org1 Head Office User' in General, a role, and all my Org1 head office users are assigned to the role. Everything works as expected.
  
  However, I can't find a way to create rules programmatically. Specifically, the need to create a rule for each Org (which there are 3000) won't be easy to manage.
  
  Is there an API that I have not seen that will allow me to create rules?

  No APIs are available for rules. You can find the SQL query, but that is not recommended.

• Need help for creating fields ASAP!

  I start a new job next week. HR people sent me a document of 25 pages of stuff all clustered together in PDF format. It includes an employment application, W-4, I9 and certain forms of base type 'approval '. Unfortunately, it was not registered or created with fields that I can fill. Fortunately, I have Acrobat.

  Really, I don't want to print, re-scanner and fax or e-mail such things backwards for HR people. So, is there a way I can create fields on these forms so I can e-mail them back easily? I tried once before and had bad results. The fields etc. were all squishy.

  Edit: Some of the pages are the landscape and others are portrait oriented, making it difficult to make the global edition changes. You wonder if it's just easier if I print the forms taken out and bring them to HR in person.

  When you OCR a document, it will straighten it, so you can try that.

  I created a view 'UdfVO' object which not is not related with any sql infact I created it by selecting the third option i.e. lines adding programmatically. It contains only the unique field "Udf1. Now, I have a form and I'll add control on this form at runtime, then liaison "Udf1. It is runnning perfect, but it does not show the value in the line added by program in 'UdfVO '.   For the second problem:
  The intput field is read-only because your VO is not based on an OA. In this case, the framework assumes that the attribute is read-only. You should be able to allocate the available attribute writable (setReadOnly (false)) in your code of bean before putting it on the page.

• GR 11, 2 forms create field failure?

  I had a hard disk crash on a Windows 7 64 bit HP laptop that had put installed 11.1.2.1 upgraded forms to 11.1.2.2. I tried several times to install forms 11.1.2.2 on the laptop, but the field to create runs for a long time (~ 1 hour) and fails.

  The steps I did:

  installation of Weblogic 10.3.6 using jdk 1.7.0_51 (if Java 7 update 75 is also installed)

  Loopback adapter installed with address 10.10.10.10 subnet 255.255.255.0

  shorten the path to the Windows path just a minimum, no spaces or special characters

  only install software

  has run config.bat with the development configuration option

  Checked cwallet.sso and was able to access so not a problem of privilege.

  The error in the log only says: runtime error workflow follwed by a messages of java heap.

  Anyone know what goes wrong?

  Well I don't know what was the problem with the 11.1.2.2 installer and this laptop.  I have uninstalled and installed forms and reports 11.1.2.1 without any problem.

• Create field report

  Does anyone know if there is an available in Eloqua report that shows the fields created in Eloqua in a given period of time?

  If possible, I'd like to use a report like this to have a quick way to get a list of new fields that have been created, so I can add to a contact view that we use to report export planning. We have a couple of users of the system, so it would be a much easier way to know quickly what new areas were created in the last months. I had a wuick watch the console as "field" and can not see a report of this nature but if anyone wants to fix it would be great! :-)

  Unfortunately, there is no report in Eloqua that will show the fields created within a certain time.

  I am trying to create a new tip action. I have several shares that have one or two slight differences. It seems that I have to create each action from scratch every time. I think that the field "create from" would allow me to create a new action based on an existing (I have a number of them already), but this field contains only "white"... Any ideas of a workaround to get there (create action based on an existing one)?

  Create a will be open only actions shared models that allows you to create a new tip action. Check my blog for articles on joint actions.

  However for the advanced actions, you can duplicate an action, changing its name and change it. Remember to update the action.

  I use Adobe Acrobat Pro and I just downloaded DC, in the hope that it works better.  I am creating a field duplicate on the same page.  When the drop-down list option is selected in one place, I would for the same answer to appear in another location, on the same page. I tried to copy/paste and "Create several Copies", but whenever a copy is created, Adobe assigns a unique number to distinguish it from the original.  From what I read in the help forums, the name of the fields must match. I tried to rename the fields, but adobe won't let not two fields have the same name.  The section forums and help also claim that when the copy of a field, it automatically gets the same name as the original, which does not happen in my case.

  What I am doing wrong?

  The 'number 1' you see is just a way to indicate that it is a copy. They have fields

  in fact having the same name and their values must be the same (if it's a)

  drop-down menu, if you will not have to leave the field of the updated value,

  or check the option to validate the selected value immediately, under

  Properties - Options).

  During the preparation of a form, it seems that if the field name includes the word "signature", a signature by certificate field is created. If the word "signature" is not present an ordinary field is added which can be signed using fill and sign. I need to know how to create a signature by certificate field (if none is not automatically created) so that the digital IDs can be used to sign the document.

  You can manually add any type of field you want in the form of edit mode. Different field tools are in the toolbar at the top. One of them is the digital signature field tool.

  I have a complex form of semi involving 30 or text fields, a few drop-down lists, radio buttons. I have Acrobat Pro and MS word (2011).  I create the source with MS Word, then saving them as PDF.  I then open Acrobat Pro and create using the PDF file saved.  Problem is that whenever I have make a change to the source and save as PDF I have to start over the process of "creating" and add all text fields, drop-down menus, radio buttons, etc.  Is it possible to merge or to build a model that covers the Acrobat Pro established fields on my PDF evolving?

  by opening the original form using Acrobat Pro.  By using the function 'replace' in the pages, you can remove the old source and replace it with a new one.  Save the file, and then close.  Reopen the case and chose to create.  You can then change the fields if move you the source.  Kludgy, but it worked.

  DATE_1 your code seems to work fine when it is used with the above lines.  If the signature field is removed, the field DATE_1 will erase the previous date that was displayed.
