Cree last version

First of all, the so-called help format is not very friendly.  (Lost) took a half-hour just to get here.

A new version of adobe acrobat reader has been published recently.

1. whenever I open a file, some thing open on the right side, I have no use for and takes a lot of space.  I have to close it manually everytime I open a file.  That does nothing to improve productivity.  Quite the opposite.

2. whenever I open adobe reader software, it gives a list of recently opened files.  No need, unnecessary and a waste of time.  I learned to clear recent files before closing the program.  I call it a waste of time.  That does nothing to improve productivity.  Quite the opposite.

Can not say in any way that these new features have a positive use.  More like things that are harmful, just wasting time and make using the unproductive program.

As a lot of things come in adobe pdf format, I have no choice but to use the program.  In fact, I had to update to this version by another source.

How can I fix the program in order to remove the gadget from popping up when I open a file?

How have I NOT a list of recent files?, without having to manually clear whenever I close the program.

-To turn off the Tools menu on the right: go to Edit - Preferences - Documents and check "pane Open Tools for each document.

-To disable recent files list: go to Edit - Preferences - Documents and change the value of 'Documents in the recently used list' to 0.

Moreover, there are many alternative PDF viewers out there that you can use, even if Adobe Reader is probably the best in terms of compatibility with the PDF format and the industry standard (maybe not in terms of UI design, but it's a subjective opinion).
