• Indesign CS5 update

  Hi guys,.

  I have a problem with my Indesign CS5 update (to open recent files after reinstalling), it keeps giving me an error of update in the application manager.

  Now I found a solution posted by someone that I could update the application manager by going here, but during the process of installation/update it tells me that even this fails!

  He then directs me to Adobe Support Advisor, which is abandoned.

  This quite frustrating to say the least, I need to have the latest version in order to use my files before reinstalling my system, I created.

  Is it possible that I could download perhaps manually CS5 updates?

  Or another way of doing things to day?

  Have you tried closing the bridge via the Task Manager?

• PS CS5 update 12.4

  Hi all

  I downloaded the 12.4 for CS5 update and when I try to open it I get the following message is displayed:

  "AdobePatchInstaller" is damaged and cannot be opened. You must eject the disk image. »

  Does anyone have a solution to this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  The message is misleading. CS5 is out before OSX Gatekeeper and is an "unsigned application. Your default security settings are blocking. Temporarily, set it to 'Everywhere' and try again.

  Just had 10 Windows reinstalled on my PC so had to reinstall CS5. A ran the updates, but he did not finish them because it requires Adobe Bridge be closed, but it is NOT open! Looked at the Task Manager and confirmed, it does not work. How should I proceed? Very frustrating!

  Do it manually... Beginning of the updates here and product selection, read to see if you need to install updates in the order of the numbers, or if updates are cumulative for the product http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/

  My hard drive crashed.  After replacing with a new drive, I reinstalled CS5 with serial number.  Everything works fine except that I am unable to update all programs.  I get the following message - "there was an error downloading this update. Quit and try again later. "  I tried several times on different days.  Need help.  Thank you.

• Can I buy a used box CS5 update and use it to upgrade my CS3 Design Standard?

  Hello

  I understand that Adobe is no longer provides a discount for upgrades from earlier versions of Creative Suite, but am unable to find information on knowledge if upgrades are always possible.

  I guess if you have a previous CS and buy an upgrade in box second hand then the process still work?

  Any help would be appreciated. Are the paths of upgrade for the physical copies of the software listed anywhere?

  If a upgrade version was used (CS5 updated is already used to upgrade a previous version) I don't know if you CAN use this version of upgrade, even with a transfer of license

• To CS5 updates fail to download on my new MacBook Pro

  I recently took delivery on a brand new MacBook Pro 15 "with Yosemite. I still own CS5 and I installed the basic software and did all the updates to the operating system, but for all CS5 updates will not be installed.

  I open Manager install Adobe, select available updates, I get the download to the end progress, but ultimately the downloads fail.

  Here is what I get in the Adobe Manager:

  I keep trying to quit and try again later, still no good. I tried this five times. My internet is good, I just finished the OS updates and downloads, but CS5 updates are yet to be complete.

  However, I was still having problems to update Pixel Bender Toolkit 2.5.  It turns out that it is a known problem with a fix. I did it and it worked.

  Just thought I would add that in case someone else was always a problem.

  I have a new PC running Windows 7 x 64 Pro and you want to transfer my old CS5 machine.  It was installed using CS5 update, my previous version being CS2 upgrade and before that, I was using a full copy of the PS6.  I still have all the disks and licenses.  Can I install again from PS6, then CS2 upgrade, and then upgrade CS5?  Does anyone know if Windows 7 x 64 installs the now-former SP6?  Or is there another way?  I want to do things first, after undergoing an identity corrupted on my old XP machine, I have never managed to fix.

  Hi, you have to install all previous versions.

  Just install CS 5 and then you will be asked for the serial number and then it will ask for the serial number for the previous version (CS2)

  You should be able to then install successfully.

  I have a new computer with windows 8.  I went to my account and downloaded cs3 and installed. Then I tried to download and install my cs5 update and it will not be installed.  She will unpack the files, but will not be at the software level. I'm guessing it may have something to do with "install as Administrator" irritation of windows 8, but I can't figure out how to make this facility as is 2 files with a downloader.  For cs3 I just save on my drive, then a click right and choose 'run as administrator '.
