• Style does not apply to the text in the preview or publish

  I created a character style to apply to the section headings in my subjects. The style is included in the file .css with the appropriate attributes. On the WYSIWYG component, everything seems perfect, but on the preview and after that I publish, the style has disappeared.

  I checked the file .css on the host server and it is as it should be (to the best of my knowledge). Is there anything else I could check to fix this?

  According to the CSS specification, you cannot use a / in a class definition. Replace the / for an underscore, or remove.

  I just revamped a site previously created in DW8 using DWCS4. When previewing in Firefox 3.5.2 and Safari 4.0.3 everything looks and works very well. After you download the files to my server (Go Daddy). It seems I've lost my CSS. It's a rich image site (any navigation are gifs) with 6 pages, but all that appears is the unformatted text. No image, no DIVs. I created the site using a Dreamweaver template, saved in XHTML format (prior site HTML). I'm on a MacPro 10.5.8. I downloaded the files to aid in DW8 and then tried again with Fetch. Same results. There is no broken links, images or CSS in my local version and all files seem to be where they should be on the site. Here's the URL.

  I also get the following error message: the content of this page requires a version more recent Adobe Flash Player (the header image is a swf file). But that's the least of my worries. It seems that when I have a problem, I'm going big! Sorry if I'm hiking.

  In regards to the message about the swf file: If you again insert the swf file: Insert > media > SWF will be inserted the code to date.

• saveXML does not apply to the XSL transformation

  I have a XSL I want to use to fill a 2d barcode. I put the connection of data as follows:

  It does not apply the XSL transformation. What should I do to force the transformation? If I do an Acrobat data export operation, the resulting XML file is transformed, so I can't change my work.

  Ok. I think I have a solution. The stylesheet nodes are packages className, so using the code below:

• Clicking on a paragraph Style does not apply text Style

  I just switched from a PC to a whole new MacBook Pro (OS x 10.7 Lion), and InDesign CS5.5 bought. I use CS4 on a PC for a few years and had no problems. For some reason, I can't apply Styles to paragraph by moving my cursor in the text and clicking the paragraph style. It highlights the style clicked for a while and then goes to value all styles, but does not apply the changes. The only way I can apply a Style of paragraph right now is click with the right button on the style and selecting 'apply... '. "in the menu dropdown. It is very curious. I was wondering if anyone had experience with this. I also have Microsoft Office: Mac 2011 installed on the laptop, if it makes a difference to anyone. Any help would be greatly appreciated, since I dial and change my life, and this problem slows me down a bit.

  Right on any of the third party plug-ins. It was actually 'good Zoom '. A third-party application that corrects some native zonky zoom behavior for Mac. I disabled it, and it has cleared up the problem. It's pretty strange, however, isn't it? Thanks for your help!

• MS15-029 (KB3035126) does not apply but the version of the file does not match the KB article

  I have a small number of Windows 7 x 64 workstations that will not apply the KB3035126 patch, but they always show as having older versions of the WMIPhoto.dll file.  This would mean that they still have vulnerabilities that are specified in the article, correct?

  I'm deploy the patch with Configuration Manager 2012 and it came out to the majority of customers successfully.  Configuration Manager does not show the other guests as requiring even the patch, so I think its not required, but the associated dll files show always as old.

  I looked for any other reports of this issue, but nothing comes back.  For any idea or suggestion is appreciated.

• Effects of object for a frame graphical style does not apply to its content

  I want to set an object style for a graphic frame with these features:

  1. Background color of frame: 10% black
  2. Placed image: multiply the effect (blend mode: multiply)

  It is really a very simple thing to do... manually. But I want a placed image automatically multiply on a gray background. In the next image as an attachment, you see, from top to bottom:

  1. Original frame with the black background of 10%
  2. Picture with white background
  3. Image placed with multiply blending mode

  

  I don't know how to specify a style object that applies to the effect of "multiply blending mode" for the image placed inside.

  Object styles apply to objects only, not to the content in a graphic block. As close as you can get to touching the content is mounting Options for editing of an image placed in an empty block.

  You may be able to speed up your manual process of applying multiply at an entire page or spread of images simultaneously.

  1. Select all the graphics frames on a page or spread with your selection tool (v).
  2. Click on the button select the content in the control panel (see table)
  3. Apply multiply at all the images at once

• Definition of indicator in a collection does not apply to the catalog?

  Question from newbie here: I have filed my images in a structure of (quite complicated!) collection and am browsing to set ratings and flags. It seems that whenever I put the flag "Rejected" for an image while browsing the collection, it is not applied to the image "in the catalogue". I'm not sure I'm properly explain, but my goal is to then use the function "Delete rejected images" to remove these images of the catalogue and the disc.

  It looks 'denied deleting images' are interpreted as 'delete the image of the collection", which actually makes sense. But I want my setting of rating/flag to be also applied to the image when you look at the catalog for that I able to, and then select the catalog and use the function "Delete rejected images" as stated above.

  In other words, it seems like sides/flags settings I apply everything by browsing the collection is not applied to the images when you look at the catalogue.

  Am I missing something here?

• My text tool does not work in the 13 elements

  When I add a layer of text on my file, I see the layer of my story, but I don't see on my file.

  Try to reset the tool. Looking for a box with lines inside on the options of the tool on the right bar. Click Reset.

  If this does not it, reset the default preferences. Go to the Edit menu > Preferences > General

  

• Style is not applied to the generated WebHelp

  I use RoboHelp 2015 on a Windows 7 computer.  I copied a project to help on the Web in a new directory, and then opened it to WebHelp.  The project was created many years ago and updated over the years.  The last default.css file is in this directory and also in the generated output directory.

  When I generate WebHelp output, all styles are applied correctly except one.  The name of this style, COLUMNNAME, is all uppercase.  The rest of the style names are uppercase or all lowercase.  Why didn't that one style in the document being not properly formatted?

  This model has a color applied.  A different style in a document has a color applied and it works well.

  The style of formatting shows up properly in the ap of RoboHelp.  If I click on the text, and then double-click the style, setting style format and then display correctly in the generated output.  This would be OK except that I have thousands of text with this style.

  Have you considered a topic where this style is used? In the heading is COLUMNNAME your CSS file maybe it's now Columname and there is a mismatch.

• Default fonts does not apply in the lists bulleted

  Hi all...

  Small problem that I was "work-around" for some time, but this AM, it just finally hit me to try to find a solution.  I am currently using FM 11 (under Windows 7), but this has been a problem at 7 FM.

  In a paragraph of type bulleted list style, if I apply a character Style, it seems to be "stuck" with this style - tent to highlight and set it back to the "default font (paragraph symbol)" Style of characters do not work.  My work around has been to:

  1. Highlight the offending text.
  2. Select the 'default font (paragraph symbol)"character Style (even if nothing is applied).
  3. Select a new paragraph Style (one).
  4. Again select the appropriate paragraph Style.

  This resets the character to the default font Style, but it's kind of a pain.

  Any ideas on why this is the case?

  When you apply a label of character, if you also mark include the end of paragraph (the symbol of fly "¶"), then FM will change the paragraph tag to include the new formats of character as a substitution of the paragraph. If you have then the paratag (flea) defined without "Nxt FMP Tag" selected by the name of the tag (i.e. bulleted) underway, then FM will continue to apply the paratag with substitutions.

• Data does not save in the dynamic table

  My form has been active player and all the information can be recorded with the exception of the data entered by the user in the dynamic table.

  Should I change the binding of data?

  OK, I found the root of all evil.

  To resolve this problem, you need to replace the script that caculates the dates in the dynamic table by another.

  Go to table calculate a remove the event script.

  Then, select the Date field in the first row of the table and add this script to its change event.

• Version 6.2.1 does not apply to the screening of auto tone LR

  I just noticed something strange when you use the dialog box new import. I tried to import photos and selected tone 'Auto' in the menu General Lightroom presets. Once the photos have been imported, they had NOT the predefined auto tone applied. After a few unsuccessful attempts, I decided to try one of my presets from third party, and they worked. Also has anyone seen this behavior?

  Anyone can shed some light on my site for me. Ive introduced my homepage to www.dor-dropz.com/index3.html. Everything seemed to work fine until I added a footer. Basically the footer shows about 1/4 of the way up from the bottom of the page behind some of my content. Of course, this is not correct and I can't understand why. Ive got my happy wrapper, but it doesn't seem to be wraping around the last section of my webpage so far. If you someone would care to take a look for me and let me know where im going wrong, it would be much appreciated.

• Photoshop button added to the page master does not apply to the right place on the attached pages

  When working on the master page on the tutorial for Muse, after adding photoshop button, it is not aligned properly to the pages that are attached with the master file? It ends under the footer and expanding the page more time that I set it to? How can I fix?

  Try to optimize the image you use, this can occur if you use the original file size is big enough to expand.
