Custom logic for the return value of LOV

Hello.

My LOV returns a number in a text field on a basic page. The requirement is to compare this value with a given number and whether it is superior to this business area instead of that number. What is the best way to achieve this?

Hello

see the following code:
in processFormRequest
String lovInputSourceId = pageContext.getLovInputSourceId ();
If ("YourLOVId".equals (lovInputSourceId))
{
Hashtable LovResults =
pageContext.getLovResultsFromSession (lovInputSourceId);

If (lovResults! = null)
{
Stirng numberVal = pageContext.getParameter("TextFielValue");
If (compare the value of numberVal with a number
{
advance to the current page}
}
}

in process request
Set the value of the text field.

Thank you
Kumar

  • Use the return value to do step digital multiple success or failure

    Hello

    I use a multiple digital step to check several measurements by an external DMM through a function created in CVI.  I would like to use the return value of the function to replace the global status of the step. The reason is that the return value indicates a communication error, while steps are being taken, and which would lead to a "fake" fake or false 'Pass '.

    What I would do is more or less this >

    If the return value is 0, then check if the measuremets are between the limits

    If return value! 0 = there was a communication error so step continues to operate independently of the measure.

    I tried combining multiple digital step with a step of pass/fail, but it does not work.

    I also trie to change the expression of the status of the multiple digital steps but basically ignores him.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

    Javier

    Why don't you just make that return the value limits for multiple numerical limit stage.  Comparison of the EQ value and the low limit to 0.

    That would make the most sense.

    If it comes to a page element, and then change the type of Popup LOV key.

    If there is a control in a table, it's another reason to upgrade to a supported version, or the tabular form will need to be converted to be manually generated and processed in order to allow the appropriate control be returned using the apex_item.popupkey_from_lov method

    I'm calling javascript from COM (c#) and it works fine. Passing parameters to javascript and playback by using the syntax of the [x] arguments also works very well.

    What I can't seem to get to work is to know how to move something from javascript to the calling COM Summoner, in this case, c#. How and where should I place the return value in javascript?

    doScript() evaluates an expression, so just make sure that your Javascript is an expression.

  • the return value of tpacall(), tpcall and tpgetrply()

    The return value of tpacall() weather, tpcall and tpgetrply() has a rule? I found that the return value of them is an integer that has increased by one. What is its maximum value? Or it will be a loop in a scope? Thx for your answer!

    Bill,

    A return of tpacall(), tpcall() or tpgetrply() of-1 indicates failure. Any other return value indicates success.

    Unless the TPNOREPLY indicator is used, the value returned by tpacall() is a handle that can then be passed to tpgetrply(). (The alternative is to call tpgetrply() with the TPGETANY flag, in which case the handle returned by tpacall() will be necessary.) When using the indicator TPNOREPLY tpacall(), tpacall() returns 0 success. In both cases, the only error return value of tpacall() is - 1.

    The return value on the success of tpgetrply() is not documented (except that it is not - 1), but it seems to be the descriptor of appeal on which a message was received, which is the same information that you can place in * cd.

    The return value on the success of tpcall() is not documented (except that it is not - 1), but currently, the value 0 is generally returned on success.

    Kind regards

    Ed

  • Read the table for the next value (sequence issue)

    Is there a function in line with my_seq_no.nextval that can read a value from the previous field and get the next number in the sequence? I know how to create a sequence, but I thought that there is something as a function of getnextval.

    Thank you.

    Preston,

    The problem is that there is no such thing as a previous value in Oracle.
    You must specify a way (like number maximum.. etc..) to get the expected value.

    Sometimes, you can see the code as...

    insert into emp values
    (select max(empid) + 1 from emp) new_emp_id,
    ''XYZ' ename,
    .......
    ....
    ...
    from dual;

    As seen... the code above takes the maximum value of the emp table and gives you the identificateursuivant emp.

    The problem here is that all currently connected users will get the same value for the new empid, until a person inserts a record, then... all others would be unique constraint errors (if you have constraints on the right in place).

    Using sequences is the right way to ensure that all concurrent users get their own unique values for the new values.

    As for the getnextval, they could always get to a function which selects to the max (column-name) + 1 and returns it... but it has the same problems as the insert... Select above... So I would rather not provide code for such a thing... I would do more damage than help it. Please use a sequence for your case.

  • Problem in designing a custom field for the display of paragraph

    Hello

    I need to develop a custom field that is supposed to act as a RichTextField with the additional of the hyperlink feature as seen in the web pages. I have a few paragraphs of text with an id associated with each of them. A paragraph may have link to another paragraph. I think that the hyperlink is actually like a button.

    My screen will consist of a single paragraph. If any hyperlink (id) in this paragraph is preesed then the screen reloads with another paragraph (id in a hurry).

    My problem is to develop a custom field for the display of this paragraph.

    Point: several lines of text without interruption. Some of the text may be bold, italic. a text can be the hyperlink.

    Now I'm stuck. I have no ideas how I can start with. Can someone give me please suggestions as to how I can start with?

    Thanks in advance

    Bika

    I have a different Suggestion.

    If you are using an ActiveRichTextField, you get two things:

    (1) the ability to shape a field using different fonts:

    Comment - formatting text in a RichTextField

    http://www.BlackBerry.com/knowledgecenterpublic/livelink.exe/fetch/2000/348583/800332/800505/800345/...

    (2) the ability to create "links" automatically using string models

    How to-to comparison models in the BlackBerry smartphone to provide a user experience integrated applications

    http://www.BlackBerry.com/knowledgecenterpublic/livelink.exe/fetch/2000/348583/800332/800505/800608/...

    Using models of string, I think you'd be able to create ' hot-link in your text, which the run Menu item was able to process you want.

    Just an idea.  Hope this works for you.
