Definition of the subject of the E-mail
Hello
I use Cp5.5 (but can use if necessary Cp6), and I have a click box when a user clicked, generates an email to a specified e-mail address. Is there a way I can specify which is the subject of the e-mail?
Thanks in advance!
Hello
Yep, there is! In each class, that I lead, I show people how to do exactly that!
Oh, you need to know now and I don't want to wait? Very well. Fair enough.
It's really very simple. When you type the email address, turn you right on an exclamation mark followed by the word subject = and add your desired topic. It should look like this:
[email protected]? Subject = no matter what topic you like here
But if you try, Captivate squawk at you and you say that this is not a valid email address or some other nonsense. So, I have a work around for this.
Have you ever visited a URL and noticed the browser title bar that looks like this?
http://www.somedomain.com/some%20Folder%20here/some%20File.htm
What Captivate hesitates to are spaces. He doesn't like spaces. And these 20% values see you in the URL are spaces. So to go beyond things and that your e-mail link works, just insert %20 everywhere wherever you usually want a space to appear.
I hope that helps a little... Rick

spell of the subject line in Windows Mail?
How can you out check the subject line in Windows Mail?
The subject line is omitted by using the spelling of WinMail. Way the easiest is to type the subject in the body of messages, check the spelling and then cut and paste it in the subject line. Bruce Hagen

Add LogFilter match string for the subject line of the e-mail notification
Hello
On the LogFilter alerts, I add the matching string in the subject line of the e-mail logfilter alert notification. I followed KB 75058 for this requirement. But I'm getting other data also with the match string. Please find the attached screenshot. The chain is marked in yellow. I don't need data which is marke red din. Can you let me know if a setting can be done in the script that retrieves the hitstring so that only the histstring appear
FMS: 5.6.4
Kind regards
Roshan.
Additional accessories:
Hi Roshan
We do something similar. We have configured a Message appropriate for each matching string user:
Then, in the rule Condition, I created an expression UserError containing the following:
def controls = checkObservationAlarms (#LogFilter_ErrorVerbose to 1ms #,)
{the entry->
If (entry.get ("Severity") == "WARNING") {}
return 2;
}
If (entry.get ("Severity") == 'CRITICAL') {}
return 3;
}
If (entry.get ("Severity") == "FATAL") {}
return 4;
}
return 0;
},
{entry, severity-> {switch (severity)}
case 2:
Return entry.get ("User_Message");
case 3:
return "" + entry.get ("User_Message") + "";
case 4:
return "" + entry.get ("User_Message") + "";
by default:
Return ' ';
}}, @foglight_rule_id);
If (checks.size () > 0) {}
return checks [0] [1];
} else {}
Return ' ';
}
By referencing @UserError in the subject line, I get the Message to the appropriate user.
I also do a similar thing for the severity of error appropriate in my subject line.
Hope this helps

Coding on the subject of the e-mail problem
Hello
I have a component that sends by email whenever a change in inventory level produces OUTOFSTOCK to WEEKDAYS. In this component, I put the messageSubject parameter and it accentuated characters (a, e, i,...). In the body of the email, they work very well, but in the subject, they print a '?
I was looking for solutions and tried two things:
1: setting a new PageEncodingTyper to the sender of the message, as follows:
PageEncodingTyper encTyper = new PageEncodingTyper();
encTyper.setDefaultEncoding("ISO-8859-1");
getEmailSender () .setEncodingTyper (encTyper);
2nd: setting the defaultEncoding of the component already existing atg /atg/dynamo/servlet/pagecompile/EncodingTyper:
defaultEncoding = ISO-8859-1
None of them worked. The only problem is with the subject of the mail, and I can't seem to do anything.
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestion of how to solve this problem?
Kind regards
Lucas
The type of coding in the case of email is to the body of the message. How do you get the subject of the e-mail.
If you set it starting from the properties of file make sure you set the encoding of the file of the property by UTF - 8 file, default encoding on windows is ANSI.

Restricting Polling of e-mail by channel to listen based on the subject of the E-mail
Hi gurus,
I have a requirement were SOA is returning a Server(Email Address) EMAIl and if a message arrives, B2B is configured to query.
A listening channel is configured in the B2B interviewing the message.
Things are working properly.
However, I would like to restrict the flow of messages based on the subject of the e-mail.
Idea is to tell if the Email is delivered with a topic = Hi, then only he should get selected/Processed otherwise it shouldn't.
I tried to adjust the subject = Hi configuration channel football, but he did ' t worked.
I need to set some properties? And if so who is who?
Document = custom
Protocol = Email
Direct incoming =
Thank you
VivekHi Vivek,
You follow a correct approach. From now B2B does not support the selective interrogation so you need to filter the messages at the level of the SOA.
But how to corelate this attachment belongs to this message.
In this case, the attachment name must follow a pattern which must be unique. For example, the name of the attachment can be like
_ . . If the attachment name follows this model you can easily query B2BInstanceMessage for the required information. Kind regards

Create the subject of the E-mail of the text field
Is it possible to generate the subject of the e-mail of a user filled text field?
For example:
When the user enters "John Doe" their name in a form, the subject line would be "John Doe".
«"" <submit format= "pdf""" textEncoding= "UTF-8""" target= 'mailto:[email protected]?subject= <John Doe>' / > »
Made some minor changes to your script to get what I need:
myDoc = event.target var;
var address ="[email protected], [email protected]";
var subject = [TargetFieldName1.rawValue, TargetFieldName2.rawValue, "Additional static text"];
subject.toString ();
myDoc.mailDoc({)
bEmpty: true,
cTo: address,.
bassujetti: object,
Csubmitas: 'PDF '.
});
Also, I discovered that I needed a normal button that calls this script when you click it. Otherwise, thank you for getting me in the right direction.

Define the subject of the e-mail
Hello
Here is an example of work
create or replace
procedure testing_mail
IS
mailhost VARCHAR2 (30): = 10. ?. 5.?';
mail_conn utl_smtp.connection;
CRLF VARCHAR2 (2): = CHR (13) | CHR (10);
mesg VARCHAR2 (1000);
BEGIN
mail_conn: = utl_smtp.open_connection (? 10.) (5?', 25);
Mesg: = ' Date: ' | To_char (SYSDATE, "dd my hh24:mi:ss yy"). CRLF.
"From: < 'postmaster@mysmtpdomain'||' > ' | CRLF.
"Subject: ' |' mail test' |" CRLF.
' From: ' |' [email protected]' | CRLF.
'' || CRLF. "How to test mail";
UTL_SMTP. HELO (mail_conn,? 10.) (100?') ;
UTL_SMTP.mail (mail_conn, 'postmaster@mysmtpdomain');
UTL_SMTP. RCPT (mail_conn, '[email protected]');
UTL_SMTP. Data (mail_conn, "Mail test Procedure");
UTL_SMTP. Quit (mail_conn);
END;
/
But I need the idea of putting the subject of success above!
Best regardsDon't make up your own combinations of line break. Use the constant line break in the UTL_TCP package.
Regarding the formatting of the e-mail itself - which is governed by the specifications for MIME bodies.
Take a look at the explanation of basic to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MIME and read the RFC documents that contains the specifications detailed on how to build a MIME body.

What you want to do? Given the nature of your question, it seems that you probably don't know what a session variable is used. The PHP manual describes the purpose of sessions here: http://docs.php.net/manual/en/intro.session.php.
I need to change all the form variables in $msg in session variables. The $to part is supported. What remains are the $subject and $msg fields.
$à = « à : ». $_SESSION ["toemail"];
Why do you need to change the form variables in session variables? They are already stored in session variables, or they come directly from the form?
The $to part is not supported. When you pass $to to the mail() function, it should contain only an e-mail address, not a string that begins with "to:

One of my Gmail account does not not via Thunderbird. He worked for until our days. Get them an error message saying
"The current operation on the Inbox doesn't have to succeed. The e-mail server of the account... responded: unknown command 34
the e-mail server for this account in not responding do not, the unknown command...)I delete this email account and re-created with the same problem. The unknown command is different everytime I try to get new messages...

Definition of the word "Rootkit".
(Sorry if this is the wrong subject, but at least it includes the definition of the word ;-)
There are two competing definitions of the word; RootkitThe first is:
-ROOTKIT = 1: "hide", 2nd: 'malicious', performs actions harmful to the network, system or users. He must do the 1st and the 2nd is assumed.
(In this definition of the first part, root means something that lies under the surface.)
The second is:
-ROOTKIT = software that includes privileged code, using the resources of protected system and functions. The term dates with Unix System Utilities that provided functions not in the operating system. The current use is for the privileged of the legitimate software and malware who wins and who uses privileges through unauthorized means.
(In this definition of the first part, root means the privileged or administrative account on a Unix system).People who work with or for one of the organizations AV utility, use the second. They generally speak of a detection of rootkits to change system made by a valid software as a legitimate Rootkit and a false positive detection. So they specifically differentiate legitimate Rootkits and malicious Rootkits. All the utilities Virus definitions include a legitimate list of these Rootkits to eliminate false positive detections.
It would seem that the demarcation line may be IS professional and 'lay '. But the document Microsoft, Understanding Anti-Malware Technologies, seems to be using the first definition. If address to business people, but the wait is it was written by a professional.
Is there a principal security analyst at Microsoft, who might have real experience at the origin of this word. (No kiddies offense, but are looking for some who actually fought in the 'little Indian-Big Indian war').
(Note: Rootkit is always indicated as badly spelled, if developers of Office have not yet added to their 'words' dictionary)
So you don't think it might help to post if you are looking for people with experience Unix in Unix forums instead of Microsoft forums?
The thread may be in another part of the whole of the site answers Forums, but you are always in the wrong place.
To use an analogy, you go to the forum of plumber to request information on how the Electrical Code are 120 and 240 circuits in homes rather than ask the electrician forum. Maybe some electical plumber also works and may know, but are not significantly higher chances of success asking a group of electricians instead?

I can barely see the pale blue. I wonder if I can change it to a darker color. Thank you!!
Hi Cheryl,
I agree. It is difficult to see.
Have you seen Windows Live Mail? This is the new version that you can download and upgrade Windows Mail that comes with Vista.
There the same light blue as a backgroud to selected e-mail in the list, but they are now double height because it lists the e-mail address from which it comes and the subject under him. You can also change the color scheme to make the blue stand and more.
It actaully is a program a lot nicer and him will transfer all of your email and settings automatically.Here is a link:
http://download.live.com/wlmailAnd it works now with hotmail and other HTTP e-mail again accounts!
I hope this helps!
