  It installed perfectly fine at first.  I was unaware of the proper order of pilot facilities and went first on the network drivers.  Designed for cordless operation and then use the updates automatic/driver finder.   After going on the dell site and download the drivers of network to a flashdrive from another computer, I then unpacked and used the setup.exe.  Now, when you try to restart the computer it perpetually loop screen Dell, the only options in F2 for Setup or F12 for boot options (the only option being the hard drive boot because there is no disk drive physical and nothing mounted on a virtual disk drive).

  Any help is appreciated and ask all the details that I left out.

  I have a Dell Inspiron N5010 and it fell out of my bed, since, then it stopped working. Whenever I try turn it on it beeps 8 times in the series.

  I went through various discussions in dell community in this regard and have done the following tests.

  Test of LCD (D + market) : this test runs fine, able to see the colors strong and when restarted, it gives again 8 beeps

  FN + market : it does not work. I have seen in discussions, this should run a diagnostic test. But in my case, nothing happens, 8 beeps continues.

  A few posts proposed to remove the CMOS battery for a while and place it again. Who did too much work.

  Reconnect the cable to the LCD screen and try, problem still exists.

  Can anyone suggest me what might have gone wrong?

  Then to do is replace the video cable - if this does not resolve the problem, it's probably that the motherboard has been damaged in the fall.

• Need driver Windows 7 64 bit for axes accelerometer ST microelectronics 3 on Dell Inspiron Mini Duo 1090

  Someone at - it a way to correct the ST Microelectronics 3-axis accelerometer (motion detector) which will not work because I upgraded from 32-bit to 64-bit Windows 7? Given that the Intel Atom N550 is only dual core too slow, I am trying to extend the useful life of the convertible tablet with 4 GB of RAM and 64 bit version will use. In addition, I started by trying to upgrade to Windows 8 because there is an app I want to who does not work on Windows 7. Not only do you get the accelerometer fail to start, but the updates of Windows 8 removed my OS, so I had to restore Windows 7 32 bit from a backup. Since it does not say which version has the CorFlags app, I have installed .net frameworks on 4 and Visual Studio 2010 upwards. At the Windows command prompt, I get errors saying that CorFlags was not a recognized command. I asked for help on the Dell forum even and installed the CorFlags there app. I saw flash by in the command line window, so he must have installed, but it is not yet a recognized order when I try to run it at the command prompt.

  Then I tried Windows SDK 7.1 commands prompt, which also tells me "CorFlags.exe is not recognized as a command internal or external, an executable program or batch file." Now what? Now, I have installed the Windows Driver Kit for Windows 8.1 because it says it does too many drivers for Windows 7, but it's an another shot in the dark.

  Downgraded from Vista to XP Pro (V. 2002) on my Dell Inspiron 6400 laptop.  Have installed Service Pack 3.

  Audio will not play (I get beeps of warning system but that's all, there isn't a problem with the hardware).

  In Device Manager, there is a yellow exclamation by the "IDT High Definition Audio Codec" under sound, video and game controllers.

  Dxdiag shows NO device installed.

  NO device does appear as installed anywhere.

  I tried the updated drivers, did NOT work.  Get the error code 10.

  Automated fix - it doesn't include troubleshooting for audio.

  Does anyone have a solution?

  I have a Dell Inspiron N5110 that when turned on beeps 8 times.

  The LCD lights up and the power light but no screen startup Dell or something. Only 8 beeps over and over and over until I turn it off.

  I tried to boot the laptop with and without the battery, with a different power converter, I tried to put back the RAM sticks and none of it works.

  I tried to boot into Diagnostics with F12, but the departure of beeps before I had the chance.

  Anyone has ideas or know what 8 beeps means on this laptop model?

  The Dell Inspiron N5110 might emit a series of beeps at startup if the LCD monitor cannot display errors or problems. The beeps 8 on this model indicates an LCD failure. However, I suggest you try to plug a well known external monitor and check if it works (if available).

  No, reinstalling the CPU does not work because the problem is to solder on the motherboard and requires reinvest the solder on the affected chip or replace the motherboard, that will cost more than a 3520 off-warranty is worth it.

  This is caused by a manufacturing defect, so I think you have some recourse under the Sale of Goods Act, if you are in the United Kingdom, even if it is out of warranty.

  Four "beeps", could indicate a memory problem, if you are comfortable working inside the computer, try to open the case, remove and reinstall all memory modules and see if that makes a difference.

  If you not comfortable working with the removal and the reinstallation of the components, then I suggest that you take the Inspiron 530 to a repairman.

  Is the power button LED, blue constant or flashing blue?

  Error code 2000-0142 indicates a failing hard drive / has failed, you can try to remove and reinstall the hard drive, and then re-run the diagnostic tests and see if you receive the same error.

  If the same error is received, the hard drive has failed and you need to replace it, followed by reinstalling windows, then loading the drivers and applications.
