• How to 'save for web' with information from a dataset

  I created psd to design web page set up with a master image.  The main image is defined as a pixel replacement variable and uses a dataset to load in images of a local folder.  I have more than 100 images in this folder and I need to resize the image to 250 pixels wide and "save for web".   Resizing and registration is easy with an action, but the thing, it's that I need to use a different column in my DataSet as the name of the saved files.

  Is it possible to create an action that will loop through each row in my dataset, do the replacement of pixel on the image, enter the name of the file in the next column, flatten & resize the image and then save it as the file name?  Of course, would cancel the flattening and resizing to start on the next line.

  I guess I could break in two actions.  One who reads the dataset, to replace the pixels and export for the web with the new file name.  Then I could set up a second action to run in batch on the folder that contains the images recently exported and just resize all the.

  I don't know how (if it is even possible) is to loop through the dataset by using the action, get the variable of the object dataset for file name and export for the web with that name.  Any ideas?  Thank you.

  Here's a function I use. With this function, you can import a CSV dataset to your document. Get names of groups of data csv form. Then in a loop applies a set of data by name, and then save as in any format you like. The loop repeats until all sets of data are processed.

• JDeveloper 11.1.1.2.0 - Panel dashboard with data from SQL Server 2008

  I use JDeveloper 11.1.1.2.0 and trying to create a cross-application dashboard. This dashboard would show 2 group of data from an Oracle database (already finished it) and two from the Group of data from a SQL Server 2008 database.
  
  I managed to install a SQL Server 2008 database locally on my machine. I downloaded the JDBC drivers on the Microsoft site and I have two JAR files:
  * sqljdbc.jar
  * sqljdbc4.jar
  
  I created a SQL Server login in Control Panel connections JDeveloper and can I query my database successfully.
  
  I created a new module of the application and define his connection for a JDBC connection with identification information specified on the Connections tab. I then added the two JAR files as libraries in the model project and
  has run the tester Module of the Application. This succesfully shows some records.
  
  In the draft opinion, I created a new page and dumped the View object in a table. I then go to run the page and get an error related to the drivier JDBC is not found. I read a few posts on add to Weblogic lib files and edit the startup scripts, but can someone give me a definitive solution to work? I also tried to change my Application Module using a data source, but I also have the same problem the Weblogic console (it cannot create a data source for SQL SERVER because it doesn't have the drivers).

• Extracting data from Siebel, OPA and impose rules on this

  OPA is used as the server front-end to answer some questions & based on these responses, OPA must validate the data in Siebel and return the result to OPA.
  
  for example:
  
  I have a few contracts in siebel, based on my rules in OPA (say, year 2010 > & warranty = 2 years), I need to recover the data that are corresponding to this criterion of Siebel and display in the OPA.
  
  Can I use OPA connector for Siebel to achieve?
  
  From now on I saw and heard the examples where connector for Siebel takeover is used when Siebel is the front end application and OPA serves just to validate in the back-end.

  You can do this with Siebel connector.

  Specifically, you can use the data in Siebel to begin a session Web determinations then use Web determinations of conduct and maintenance. The results of this interview can then be saved to Siebel.

• Can I evaluate and fill out a form with data from a custom data object?

  I'm not a developer, but I'm trying to find as much information for my web team so they can implement this for me.  We use the E10.

  I have some information for the contacts stored in a data object custom I want to use for pre-population information access door and in another form.  For example:

  1. User enters his email address into a form and hands
  2. A search and contact and custom data object (CDO)
     1. If the contact has a CDO with the required information, he fills the following form with the information
     2. If the contact does not have the required ORDER, it displays information and a link to the place where to go next

  Is it possible, and where should I direct my developers learn more about treatments?

  You can certainly do so using data for the Eloqua Web search (Setup > data Web Look Ups). A database search allows you to request data stored in Eloqua, bring up the page and with a few JS, we determine if they will go on track 1 or 2 you described above.

  I have a few PowerCLI data on virtual machines that comes in way like this:

  $vmlist = get - vm | SELECT name, memoryGB, numCPU

  and so on.

  Based on the NAME of these virtual machines, I have a bunch of other info from other systems I have need of aggregation in my report.

  For example, I need to take the name of this virtual machine, move to Active directory and get a lot of other information on the name of the computer as it is in the OU.  I would like to add this information as custom properties to each VM object that exists in the table of $vmlist created previously.

  What is the cleaner to do this way?  Can I take the table of $vmlist and use it to query Active directory and then add a custom property to $vmlist as OrganizationalUnit?

  I need to be able to insert automatically the data into a PDF form to print.  I can create the data file with alpha and numeric values to be inserted into the form.  Is there a way to merge/package/combine without action from the user to slide, falling, or gluing?

  Yes you can import data to a PDF file from another data file using option "Import data" in Acrobat. AXI supports the .fdf, the .xfdf, the .xfd, .xml and .txt file formats.   1. open the text file in a spreadsheet file.  You can connect a control of path or if left blank, it will prompt for a path.

  2. set the comma as separator.

  3. display the values on the graph.

  I just added a digital table indicator so that you can see the values as exactly those of the file.

  I'm trying to get a list created on a database.  I use Webworks and ripple (for testing).

  So far, I have this code:

  This creates my database to contain items from my list.

  Once my page is pushed into the view, I use this code to read the database and complete my list.

  My idea was that, for each element in my database, it would create a separate post in the list, however, nothing works I spent more than 10 hours trying to make it work, does not.  I am new at this and would appreciate the help.

  I am creating a part of my form when the user fills in a value (a number) to a text box field and this value is automatically filled in a read-only text box in a later part of the form. The text read-only should adjust the user to change the original text, but should not be able to adjust itself (where the read-only).

  I have not found a way to make it work (actions? calculate?) and none of the forums I found is at this address. I guess I shouldn't their name just the same because then they will both be adjustable or read-only.

  Use the Validate the entry field event, something like:

  Copy the value of this field to the next field

  getField("Text2").value = event.value;

  but replace "Text2" with the actual name of the field read-only.

  You will need to use a script to do it. Something like this should do it:

  Need your expert advise on how to handle this situation. I need update my TEST instance with data from PROD. To do this, I intend to import the metadata of content and the PROD database server to the TEST.
  
  But I'm challenged by the fact that prod attachments are sensitive security and cannot be imported. Can I exclude attachments duing the import / export of the process? the archiver has such an ability to exclude attachments when I create a file to archive data from PROD?

  As chance would have...

  Attachments stored using the ZipRenditionManagement component is stored only in the weblayout and NOT the vault.

  So if you want that the spare part to disappear on the TEST server when you create your archiver export on PROD make sure you disable the OPTION (by default it is enabled) option Copy Web content in export on the general tab Options.

  This means that only the copy of the Vault will move through in the file archive 'batch '. The only fly in the ointment is that if you have the PDF etc. conversions or anything funky going on with the copy of weblayout this process will have to be redone in TEST - but this isn't normally a big headache.

  Import this test and you will not all attachments.

  The form is pre-loaded XML. You can find in the drop docReady event how it works. In the button submit I am remove the nodes of the XML that I'm disguising, so that it only exports the value present in the field. I guess you can also do it by removing the script from the docReady event, but not sure you can give it a try.
