  Hi all

  I tried to create and integrate indexes full text in PDF format, but without success. I followed the steps described in the http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Acrobat/9.0/Standard/WSC28D4DBB-6A78-4027-9E04-F50FE411CFB9.w. html - it can have seen progress in the collection of data and in the end, the index update button is enabled. It's a signal for me that the Index was created. After clicking the Ok button, save the document as a new and then reopening "created new" document, there is info that no Index is anchored in the dialog Manage the indexes incorporated . Need to do any other step? Or is it bug? Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.1 on Windows Vista 32-bit is used.

  PS: Interesting is also comment at the bottom of above mentioned help page...

  From what I've read, the index is built and what remains is that saved the file. If you save again, there apparently cancels the job. Why? I have no idea.

• Black partially becoming white text in pdf format

  Nice day

  I encountered a strange bug in saving my document in pdf format (requested by the print service). All records very well, with the exception of half of a letter. Half of this letter looks white outside.

  I looked at the settings, so does so that there are no layers or anything of the sort on the text. I tried to save as different versions of pdf and compression. This a letter just stubbornly wants to be half white. I am at a loss.

  Anyone have any ideas?

  PS: the .psd file is fine, it only happens in the pdf file to save to.

  

  I have CS6 V13.

  Switching fonts seems to work, but return to Myriad Pro press the issue. I seem to have resolved by deleting the word offensive and rewritten. Seems ok now.

  I'm sorry, but it is not possible to change the text in a PDF document using the player.

  You'll need to install and use the Adobe Acrobat software for the same thing.

• Cannot modify a customizable text in PDF format

  I have a PDF document that I received from an area to put a name. When I use my work computer (Windows 7) it is a gray box that shows the text I can edit and allows me to delete and add my own text in this area. When I open the same PDF on my computer (Windows 10) I don't have the ability to change the text at all and no gray area appears. Is this a problem of compatibility of Windows 10? No idea how to get around this problem? I can't use my work for what I need. Two computers running the same version of Acrobat Reader DC.

  You open the document online, or are save you to your computer, open the drive then using file > open to open it?

  If online, save it to your computer first (right-click on the link and choose to save) and then open it in the drive. If you have already done so, make sure that it is indeed Adobe Reader by opening the file and not another application.

  You need Adobe Acrobat to add text to your PDf files. Two ways to do it.

  1 convert your PDf to a native file such as word, Excel

  2 changes in the output file

  3 convert it back to PDF

  Or

  Using Acrobat Pro 8.1.7 mac intel a lot of ram. I've got a PDF from a client that comes with the areas that I can change allegedly. However, I get this message:

  All or part of the selection has no available system fonts. You cannot add or remove text using the current font selected.

  Helv Neue Roman TT is the police. I have all Helv Neue but this one. If I buy it I change it?

  Acrobat 9 it would be easier?

  You ran over to one of the problems with the editing of PDF files. They are not really designed for this type of installation.

  You would need the "exact" font on your system and even in this case, it may not work.

  If the creator of the file being used mean and Open Type Font (works on Windows and Mac) and you had the same one, that would be your best bet.

When to convert a text file to PDF with Acrobat X Pro the spacing of the characters in the resulting file is incorrect.  The columns of figures that line up correctly in the text file, do not properly align in the PDF file.  I adjust the conversion settings in the CREATE PDF FROM WEB PAGE THE box and I chose a fixed-width font.   If I use Adobe PDF Converter (printer driver), the result is perfect.  If I open the text file with Microsoft Word and then convert it to PDF with PDFMaker, it is also perfect.   How are the files PDF, text is a set of text-as-graphics. Individual graphs can be lines, words or even simple letters. So there aren't really spaces at all in many files, just the text is a little further away.

  Clearly Acrobat calculates wrong - I think as I said, this looks like a rounding error.

  There nothing like what you are looking for - once the PDF file is made, the locations are fixed.

  Please, either try to convert this .jpg file in PDF format first, and then add or you can use the tool for this handset.

It seems that the text has been copied, but I'm unable to paste it into another program. Is this real?

  After typing a Word, create outlines, then add a dash of contour (say 1 pt), the original color barrier does not appear in the PDF that I previsualisez in Acrobat Pro. The word appears as outline only.

  I have to go back and put the same word (before describing) on the version described it "appears so" as filled in the following PDF.

  I have attached a screenshot. This image shows the word red, KINGDOM, has been exposed, but I put the (unexposed) red text above (InD) to make it appear as being filled in the PDF file. Words in blue, ETERNAL and POWER, are also described and briefed on InD, but I do not you cover them (as KINGDOM), to show the appearance in the PDF file.

  I've also attached a screenshot of the original with the same text as InD doc indicated (accident 1pt stroke) which seems OK here before registration in PDF format.

  The word MINISTRIES is not described. It is the original text.

  It does not appear in 5.5, I recall. Any ideas? What is a parameter InD I missed or pref in Acrob Pro?  Thank you

  Now that I see this particular problem with the text of Bauer, I know how to deal with them in the future. I just wanted to be clear that this was no InD or PDF. Trajan is a close substitute. As Bauer is already established in the context of this logo, it must stay.

  Perhaps in the future the leaflets (with logo), I could save in jpg format only, which eliminates the problem of contour.
