Display 720 p vs 900 p

I'm looking for 2 different models of Vaio adjustment with these options for the resolution of the screen. Is there a noticeable difference between the two?

    Hello!

    I have the following problem:

    I almost tried everything:
-The installed monitor drivers ==> no effect

-update of the Bios (at 1.7) ==> no effect

  • HP 2009 m adjust resolurion to 1600 x 900 xp pro

I have reintalled XP pro OS.

My HP 2009 m monitor was purchased with the Inspiron MT 537computer in 2009.

It worked by plug & play.

On resettlement, there is no setting in the control panel (display) to 1600 x 900.

    How can I set 1600 x 900 display?

(I've done it before, but forgot since)

    Thank you

    GliqInfo, welcome to the forum.

This is the Installer of HP Display for XP to your monitor.  You must use this program to make sure that your monitor is configured correctly.

Then you can enter in the control panel / display to change the resolution.

  • ProBook 4440S upgrade form

    A question for the masses...

I have a nice 4440 S Probook I bought at a very reasonable price. I upgraded the CPU of the i3 - 3110M for an i7 quad-3632QM stock and factory 4 GB of memory has been upgraded to a 8 GB faster and bigger. That said, I'd LOVE to upgrade the (in my opinion), ended ugly mast of 1366 X 768 display a brilliant 1600 X 900 better, brighter display. I intend to buy a display of 1600 X 900 and the corresponding display of Probook 6470 B cable. The obvious question: will it work?

BTW, it has the standard Intel HD4000 graphic chip. Help!

Thank you for your positive responses.

Do not try. very likely you are wasting your money. Poster correspond to the panels, bevels, connections, hardware, etc. Even beautiful thought, I would stay away from THIS upgrade

  • G10-100: IE text appears in a very small size on some websites

First, I would like to say that I love my Qosmio machine. Got it for 1 year now, and he played brilliantly. I am technically, however find it difficult to diagnose and fix the following strange problem.

When displaying certain Web sites in Internet Explorer, a text may appear in a very small size. Some sites for example in this case:
    http://www.Travelocity.co.UK/
    http://www.Wotif.com/
    http://www.commbank.com.au/NetBank/#
    http://www.BBC.co.UK/weather/

It's almost as if that a certain type of page web/code/style sheet/whatever gets displayed in really small text. Yet once, it only occurs with certain web pages and not in all the other apps!) Odd.

I tried to change the resolution of the screen, update the graphics driver. Maybe these particular sites are coded for specific screen resolutions, and mine is not properly recorded?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated? If you need more details to help me diagnose, please ask me! Is there a new graphics driver to be released soon?

    Thank you!

    Ben.

    ENVIRONMENT INFORMATION:
    -Windows XP MCE (SP2)
    -C' IE (6.0.2900.2180) (latest version)
-nVidia GeForce FX Go5700 (v6.14.10.6612) (latest version available on the Web from Toshiba site)
    -Display resolution 1440 x 900, 32-bit.

    Hello

Well, first of all that it s not a problem because IE Toshiba is a Microsoft product. Usually I put t think that there is a failure anyway.
I checked the links and for me, everything shows ok. Of course it small and large text produced on Web sites, but in my opinion it s a page design.
However have you checked the options under display in IE?
There you can change the size of the text.

    Good bye

  • Satellite M60 - message: graphic driver works correctly

    Hello

I own the Satellite M60 laptop and have problems with the graphics card ATI X 700.
Often, I get the message that my graphics driver does not work properly.
When this happens, changing resolution displays at 720 * 640 I think and I have to restart my pc.

    What did I try?
I installed a new windows system, I tried to make a new absolutely clean driver to install.

    But nothing helped.
Someone at - it an idea, what I have to do?

    concerning

    > Often, I get the message, that my graphics driver doesn t work properly.
    > In this case, the change in resolution display 720 * 640 I think and I have to restart my pc
Sounds more like a hardware malfunction as software delivers what dilute you?
To me, it seems that the graphics chip would cause this issue may be due to a higher internal temperature? ?:|

Have you noticed a higher temperature while this problem appear?

  • T440p - option IPS?

I'm thinking to buy the T440p, but when I set up the system I want, there is no option of IPS display. However, in the Tech Specs section on the store's site, she lists the following option:

    • 14.0 "IPS FHD (1920 x 1080) anti-glare

I'm sure there must be a mistake, but if someone could confirm that there are no IPS for the T440p option, it would be great.

Basically I'm looking for a quad-core 14 "or 15" ThinkPad with an IPS 1920 x 1080 screen, but I'm coming up empty, and it's really frustrating. I would consider an IPS display of 1600 x 900 in a model 14 "as well.

The T450s looks great to me, but I really don't want the wimpy processor ultra low voltage which is the only choice in this series.

    Hello

About the T440p, there are two models of FHD Panel for her:
-LGD LGD 14.0 "FHD AG LP140WF1-SPK1
-AUO 14.0 "FHD AG AUO B140HAN01.2

The 1st group is IPS, the 2nd is AHVA (that's "IPS as" AUO technology). There is a giant topic on LGD vs AUO comparison of the panels in the forum.

The problem is therefore, to determine the exact model of Panel installed in the laptop for sure. If you know the serial number of the laptop is not a problem to get the installed Panel model. Another source is MTM, but cell phone shouldn't be a model CTO.

  • Slideshow problems

I built my first slide show a minute in PP 2015. For most of the images that I've applied zoom and pan effects with keyframes set in the deceleration / acceleration. After the return of the sequence, I noticed when reading too tear/video memory when the image moves. These are all small moves and rather slow, too. What can I do to alleviate this problem? I know that there must be a way, but I'm stuck. Attached are my settings in sequence. Can I use different settings, perhaps? Finally, I want to download the file on my Vimeo page to display 720 x 480. Thank you very much!Screenshot 2015-10-12 16.10.54.png

The timeline is interlaced, your images are progressive. Not a good mix.

    Use rather a 720 p or 1080 p timeline.

You can change the settings by modifying the custom editing mode.

May need to adjust your pans and zooms a little.

Download in 720 p or 1080 p on Vimeo: it will look much better then 720 x 480.

  • Did screen pixelated, PE v10 with DVC - Pro codec

I bought a Sony TRV355e of second hand camera to convert my old digital Video8 tapes and download it via firewire.  The camera has a digital converter box analog/internal.

I used PE v10 to download the file.  However, during the download of the file and reading, I get a particularly visible pixelation effect on the hard contours.  It's like viewing a photo in very low definition.

Then I tried Windows Movie Maker to download from the camera and plays the file in Windows Media Player and everything seems fine with no pixelation.

I also imported the file downloaded to disk by Movie Maker in PE v10 and once again the pixelation is visible.

Video information from the file is:-

    Format: DV name Commercial: DVCPRO

    Standard: PAL frame rate: 25 fps display: 720 x 576 pixels (4:3)

Scan type: interlaced lower field first

Bit rate mode: Constant Frame rate mode: Constant

Project settings that I've used are DV PAL 25 fps all the settings seem to match the information in the file.

I saw a suggestion on the web that Premiere Elements '' does not deal well DVCPRO"but that he couldn't find any other information.

Can anyone suggest a cause and solution please?

    Hi ATR

Success!  I tried everything you suggested and as a by-product of one of

your ideas, came across the solution!

You said the monitor Mode edit right click and select magnification to

see if it has been set to 'Fit '.  It has been.

However, I also noticed on the right click an option for 'the playback quality.

The options were "Automatic" or "highest."

I changed it to "Higher" and the edges have become defined in a better

resolution, equivalent to that in a fixed framework.

    This is the solution!

Thanks a lot again once - I really appreciated your help.  I hope this can

be useful to anyone else having a similar problem.

  • Variable dimensions

    New to video editing...

I'm changing the dimensions of my sequence before exporting the multimedia file. The sequence is set at 720 x 480 and I want it at 1280 x 720. How is that possible? Should this be done before or after export? I tried different codecs, but dimension boxes are blackened.

First Pro 5 on Mac using

In fact, I did not any resizing to the Prime Minister after the conversion in .mov format. I guess that files have been automatically resized to match the settings of the sequence, although the proportions of the sequence is wide in the first, it becomes 4:3 when exporting. Sorry... I don't make any sense?

If so you could see the entire video image when you have removed the clips from 1280 x 720 in the sequence of display 720 x 480, you probably have the preference set to default scale to the size of the image; It's in edition > Preferences > General. Furthermore, you are using the trial version? That's the only reason why I could see you using MOV when the MTS files would work properly with the licensed version.

So make a new sequence at 1280 x 720 - you can do it quickly by dragging one of your MOV to the icon of a new element at the bottom of the project Panel. Once created, you can delete the item from the sequence. Go to the original sequence, press Ctrl + A to select the entire document, then Ctrl + C to copy; go to the new sequence and paste with Ctrl + V. everything scale to expected properly to the sequence and you can export to the format and size of this sequence.

    Good up to now?

  • Big mistake trying to make a slide show on PRE 3.0

I created a slide show using PSE 8 and then transferred to 8 before burning a DVD... most of the time PRE 8 just looked at me until it crashed. So I decided to go back to the last version of PRE I know has worked in the past... I have recreated the slideshow (PSE 5) and transferred to PRE 3.0... BEFORE 3.0 has worked for me in the past, but with much smaller slideshows, then a I'm working now on (apprx 200 + slides.. 21 minutes running time). I first had warnings on virtual memory in the short (then would be closed shortly after)... who sets by upping size VM (min 2045, 4090 max)... now I get warning on physical memory and shortly after a serious error message (it is assumed that finanlly runs out of physical memory?). I am running Windows XP, processor Pentium 4 with 2 GB of RAM...  I think this system/PRE should be able to do this... especially know in conversation with a friend who has a system configured in the same way as WnSoft PicturesToExe made a slide show of the same size... any thoughts or am I just out of luck!

What are pixels x dimensions in pixels of the stills? Too large photos can block pre quickly, even on the most rugged computers.

In addition, with the video, can't tell display 720 x 480 pixels for a DV project. Having more pixels will do two things: a significant load on the computer to manipulate and resize the required dimensions, and the quality of the images in the video will suffer. Resizing in PSE is a workflow much better. This ARTICLE will give you some tips.

    Good luck

  • Satellite Pro P100 - display 1440 x 900 upgraded to 1680 x 1050

    Hello

I have a defective Panel in my Satellite Pro P100. Model No.: PSPAHE - 001001GR.
    Currently, it is a sign of Lp171wx2 with a resolution of 1440 x 900.

I can change it for this Panel: LP171W02 with a resolution of 1680 x 1050?
Will it recognize kind of Plug-and-Play? Better resolution and running as before. Or does not recommend or not even possible?

Thank you very much in advance,
    Schwieger

    Hello

    I think he can.
I know that the different models of Satellite P100 were equipped with two type of poster:
17.1 inch, WXGA + (1, 440 x 900), color TFT display high brightness of amorphous silicon.
    17.1 inch WSXGA + (1 680 x 1 050), color TFT display high brightness of amorphous silicon.

I m not very good if you could use the LP171W02, but the laptop would certainly deal a 17.1 inches, TFT WSXGA + (1, 680 x 1 050).
You can also order a compatible part of a Toshiba ASP in your country.

  • X 360 HP spectrum: Windows display 1920 x 1080, but it's really 1280 x 720

Graphics Intel HD 520, pilots the latest.

Two display settings and the Intel graphics settings display 1920 x 1080, but http://www.whatismyscreenresolution.com/ watch 1280 x 720

I tried uninstalling the driver, put it back, reset between the two. I tried to switch resolutions back, but I'm still stuck with a resolution of 720, while for some reason strange Windows thinks I'm on 1080.

    Any ideas?

I do not know which video drivers you have installed, so all I can suggest is to install those of your HP Product Page: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Spectre-13-4100-x360-Convertible-PC/8499273/model/9054432

Perhaps also that the other page you are using is incorrect - but I tried it myself, and it showed the correct resolution.

    Good luck
