Distribute Adobe Reader

I'm working on the update from Win XP to Win 7. I am

so I don't have to continue to download the Adobe Manager, Adobe Reader whenever you are looking for the Adobe reader file. I signed up to distribute Adobe Reader, but the link provided only seems to give me exactly what I had before which is having to download Adobe Manager, Adobe Reader, etc. each time. Can someone explain to me where the Adobe Reader file.

The Reader 9.3 installation file is located at ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/9.x/9.3/enu/AdbeRdr930_en_US.exe

  • Installation of Adobe Reader 2015 DC problem

Natives.PNGI'm trying to distribute Adobe Reader 2015 DC to my network through SCCM computers.

I get an error. I check the error and after some digging around, I found that the Setup program fails when trying to copy the file natives_blob.bin. I looked for this file and I can not locate it on any of the files I downloaded. Do you know how and where I can find it? Or does anyone have a work around for this?

Either way, I tried to install the product manually and it gives the same error.

  • Serial number Adobe Reader?

    Hello

Where can I get a serial number for Adobe Reader use Adobe Customization Wizard XI? I asked and obtained a license to distribute Adobe Reader but have a serial number. According to the Adobe video (link below), you can use the wizard to customize Adobe Adobe Reader package and the presenter between a serial number, but where can I get one from?

It seems that the video that you have accessed is for Acrobat XI, not Adobe Reader.

  • Adobe Reader 8.1.7 upgrade path?

Could someone please explain the upgrade path to Adobe Reader 8.1.7 for me? I read the tech note "Adobe Acrobat and Reader to date and deployment information" and I am still a little uncertain.

Our most currently deployed version is 8.1.6 but some of our users still have older versions (8.1.2 ~ 8.1.5) installed. I've been distributing Adobe Reader via SMS 2003 from version 8.1.2 as below:

    8.1.2 - customized using Adobe Cusomtization 8 (Setup.exe /sPB /rps /rs) Assistant

    8.1.3 - customized using Adobe Cusomtization 8 (Setup.exe /sPB /rps /rs) Assistant

    8.1.4 - straight (number installAdbeRdrUpd814_all_incr.msp! /norestart)

    8.1.5 - right installation (number AdbeRdrUpd815_all_incr.msp! /norestart)

    8.1.6 - right installation (number AdbeRdrUpd816_all_incr.msp! /norestart)

So, what is my upgrade for Adobe Reader 8.1.7 - right installation path (number AdbeRdrUpd817_all_incr.msp! /norestart) or do I need to customize using Adobe's Assistant to keep the desired settings? Appreciate any advice anyone can offer. Thank you very much.

Adobe Reader 8.1.7 patch can be applied only to 8.1.6. Then first you must bring all your systems to 8.1.6 and then apply 8.1.7 patch.

Custom settings do not download if you install 8.1.7.

If you have a system with 8.1.3 or 8.1.4 or 8.1.5 so that-

    Apply 8.1.6 patch--> Apply 8.1.7 patch

If you have a system with 8.1.6 then do-

    Apply 8.1.7 patch

If you have a clean system, then the shortest is to install the reader 8.1.7-

Install Reader 8.1.6 Apply patch 8.1.3-->--> Apply 8.1.7 patch

NOTE: Reader 8.1.3 is an install (msi) full 8.1.6 and 8.1.7 are patches (msp).

  • Error 1310 during the installation of Adobe reader.

Vista Home premium.  I tried a single repair for this error.  I can't do a reinstall/upgrade as suggested I bought a disc of upgrade and it only let me do a full installation and not an upgrade.

Here is a list of articles on Error1310 from the Adobe website: http://community.adobe.com/help/search.html?searchterm=Error+1310&q=Error+1310&l=reader_product_adobelr&x=0&y=0&area=0&lr=en_US&hl=en_US.  We help you with your problem.

Otherwise, try the Adobe Forums - this is specific for Adobe Reader: http://forums.adobe.com/community/adobe_reader_forums/adobe_reader.

I do not understand about the purchase of drives for Adobe Reader is free and I do not think that it is distributed by disc.  Re-installation of Vista is NOT the answer to this problem (if it even does nothing to resolve all that is the problem)-there must be a simpler solution and you can find it on the sites above.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • The license to use the ActiveX component embedded in Adobe Reader

    Hello

I have a program that needs to display PDF files.

What are the implications of the license if I do Adobe Reader a sine qua non for the program and use the Adobe ActiveX component to display PDF files?

    Kind regards

    Martin

Exactly, the user must install their own software, so that they accept the terms.

Now, you COULD kick off the installation of Adobe Reader, but this implies that you distribute a copy of the installer. For which a redistribution license is required. It's probably more trouble that it's worth.

  • Adobe Reader 11 works more often since the installation of the 11.0.8 latest patch (on several business workstations)

    Hello

I am a system administrator of the company with about 350 jobs.

We have updated our client workstations (W7PROx64) of Adobe Reader 11.0.7 to Adobe Reader 11.0.8 and now some users complain that the adobe reader software stops working very often (quote: 'Every 5th PDF I opened, the accidents of adobe reader').

Before that we distribute the update to 11.0.7 to 11.0.8 there was no such complains...

Is this a problem of "well known"?

    Greetings from the Germany

    Thomas

There is no support for free Adobe products, unless you have an agreement of departmental support.

Regarding your problem: it needs to be done if you disable the Protected Mode [modify preferences |] (Improved) security]?  If so, you can use this registry script to quickly turn on several workstations: https://files.acrobat.com/a/preview/82c09ef4-f32e-4d41-97f3-74d9431f9f20

  • Flash Player from Adobe Reader and Acrobat

    Hello people,

We see more documents Adobe portfolio but lately our users are unable to view them with Reader / Acrobat XI.

I applied to distribute the Flash Installer using this page:

    http://www.Adobe.com/products/players/Flash-Player-distribution.html

I receive an email confirmation, but this brings me to another page with the browser only Flash plugins.

Where can I get a. MSI?  How we deploy the FULL Flash Player in a company?

    Thank you

    Rice

    Capture.JPG

But the Installer MSI for the plugin is on this page. in the line that says «Windows, Browser Plugin»  It is a plugin that is used by XI Acrobat and Adobe Reader XI.

P.S. Yes, this sentence about the "full Flash Player" on this help page is a bit misleading; This is the plugin version must be installed in addition to the ActiveX version.

  • Save in Adobe reader

I ' v maded a form in Adobe Livecycle and there everything perfect functions.

I need the form, that one person can fill, and then save and send to anyone else then the other can fill in the rest.

    Thank you

If you need to send files to a limited set of users, or there is not a company level use case, you can simply use Acrobat 11 instead of LiveCycle. Here are the steps to do:

    (1) open your PDF in Acrobat 11.

    (2) save the file through "Save as another"-->"Reader Extended PDF"-->"activate tools plus".

    (3) to distribute this file to your customers.

    (4) customers can now enter data in the form and save it via Adobe Reader.

Yes, it will work. Give it a try.

  • Adobe Reader updates day and Flash Plugin to drive.

I was surprised to discover that the updates to Adobe Reader and Flash Plugin for Adobe Reader cannot be installed on Windows 7 without administrator rights!

I remember, on Windows XP, that it wasn't a problem. I'm sure I checked the option to install Adobe Flash Plugin for Adobe Reader on Windows XP without administrator rights and it worked...

Now, we have a major problem...

I have prepared some Adobe PDF portfolio for a new policy for housing loan and deployed it is opened in a Web browser. According to my tests, he worked very nice, and loved the business user. On Windows XP, if the flash player plugin is not installed, the user will be guided to install it and it works fine.

Just before sending the announcement to all users, we have made on Windows 7, if the flash player plugin is not installed, then when the user clicks the link to open the Briefcase, and then nothing happens. The browser window opens, and it crashes.

Then we found that on Windows 7 to manually install the Plugin of Flash Reader, and in addition, the user must have Admin rights...

Now, a decision was made to cancel the work done using the PDF portfolio and develop a simple page with links to documents...

    Any solution for this?

How can we install the needed plugin without Admin right?

Why on Windows 7, the user does not receive the prompts to guide to install the Flash Plugin from Adobe Reader?

    Tarek.

No, there is an Installer separated for the XI Acrobat family Flash element - have installed Web plugin is not relevant.

Check out my blog for more details

You cannot pre-install the plugin Flash Player via the Adobe Reader business tools, it should be pulled from the Adobe Web site and installed manually. There is no equivalent to the agreement of redistribution of Adobe Reader for the Acrobat Flash Player plugin, and of course if it was distributed on CD or via a corporate intranet, normal users couldn't run anyway.

  • Full screen Adobe Reader XI now leave the title bar on Mac

Has anyone experience this problem? I installed Adobe Reader X (for Mac) reader XI. When I go to view full screen or open a document full screen, a title bar ends up with the title of the document and the buttons on the left above. It didn't happen in versions IX or X; kinda defeats the purpose of the mode full screen for presentations. Is this a bug? Or a 'new '? I'm still under Snow Leopard and haven't tried in 10.7 or 10.8.

Thanks for the suggestion, Paolo. Unfortunately, my institution distributes full-screen files PDF of a magazine for all end users would have to do what is not practical. What I hope is that this discussion has alerted the Adobe technical gurus to this question and strive hard.

UPDATE: looks like the 11.0.01 fixes this problem.

  • E-mail button does not work with Adobe Reader, Acrobat only

    Hello

I am new to Adobe products and do not have a lot of experience. Here's my problem.

I used LiveCycle Designer ES2 to create a PDF form to fill, with a send email button. (use mailto: to open Outlook users and attached the PDF automatically)

The shape is visible by all, but the e-mail button works only if opened with Acrobat.

Is it possible to have this work with the drive? We obviously don't have Acrobat licenses for each user.

Any help or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

The document must be enabled for the reader, which allows to drive save the completed form. To do this in Acrobat 10, select "file > save as > Reader Extended PDF > activate additional features. In Acrobat i9, it's "Advanced > extend features in Adobe Reader. This should be the last thing you do before you distribute the file.

  • Adobe Reader 8.2 does not not on Adobe 8 Customization Wizard

I tried to create a transform file to Adobe Reader 8.2 the Adobe 8 Customization Wizard. However, the tool does not generate transformation and seeks the Setup.ini file.

I looked back to the installer that I had and now is a single msi file unlike previous versions that is a Setup.exe compressed that I used to decompress and get the msi file, the cab file and the setup.ini file.

Anyone know how to get the compressed version of Setup.exe of Adobe Reader 8.2 or how it will work with the Adobe 8 Customization Wizard?

I had the same problem at first but then takes the setup.ini file of my package of Adobe Reader 8.1.3 early last year and made a small edit for him. I have the gasket for your reference (renamed .ini in .txt so rename it to use it).
