  Hey all,.

  If you follow the vCD 5.1 installation guide, I am confused about how many records DNS to create for each server.

  The interface Console Proxy requires a DNS record?  And if so, any suggestions on what he should name it?

  It is a good idea to create the DNS console proxy (and later, configure it in VCD), otherwise these connections will be made to the IP address of the proxy console.  (Not really a problem in a small configuration) - but you grow you might want to bring into load balancers, and that's when he improves it.

  Here's what I'd normally (if the IP addresses and DNS are not limited)

  by vCloud Instance

  1 x IP HTTP + friendly dns (IE, ourcloud.ourcompany.com)

  1 x Console IP + friendly dns (namely, console - ourcloud.ourcompany.com)

  by vCloud cell

  1 x IP HTTP + dns host name (IE, cella - ourcloud.ourcompany.com)

  1 x Console IP + console-dns host name (i.e., console-cella - ourcloud.ourcompany.com)

  You direct your users to DNS fiendly, and if you have more than one cell led by a load balancer.  (If you only have a single cell, then you don't need to have IP addresses for instance can just do you use friendly names an alias records)

  To start saving your Conversations in Windows Live Messenger

  1. connect to your window Live Messenger and click on 'Tools' or click on your display name.

• Record DNS ESX changes uppercase

  Hello

  I have 10 ESX 3.5.0 123630 servers connected to Virtual Center 2.5

  All servers are configured with Windows 2003 DNS as primary and secondary DNS servers.

  (To the best of my knowledge) servers are configured in all places with the hostname in lowercase, but DNS a records and PTR records appear in capital LETTERS.

  So much, if I remove the documents, they are recreated automatically uppercase or if I create them in lowercase they are changed to UPPERCASE again.

  I checked in the/etc/hosts and the/proc/sys/kernal/hostname.  On the local console, the hostname appears in lowercase and VC, they appear in lowercase.

  Normally, it doesn't worry me, but yesterday after a major crash HA lost network connection between agents.

  I finally corrected HA with a mixture of restart and deactivation and activation.

  Thanks in advance for any ideas on this issue.

  Uppercase or lowercase the DNS entries are of no interest as DNS queries are not case-sensitive.

  But you must know the uppercase and lowercase if you are using the file "/ etc/hosts ', as is case-sensitive on Linux hosts and in the ESX console.

  The file "\windows\system32\drivers\etc"hosts"in Windows is not case-sensitive.

  Print > save as PDF - use an excerpt (part of Mac OS X), so Adobe Reader should have no effect on that at all.

  As for the error "file corrupted", simply uninstall the Reader app will not affect it. Follow these steps:

  Trash the files AdobePDFViewer.plugin and AdobePDFViewerNPAPI.plugin

  Mac HD/Applications

  

  Trash the application Adobe Reader

  [user] / Library/Preferences

  To access the [user] / Library, hold down the 'Option' and click on 'Go' in the FInder menu.

  Note: 341322.1 - how to change the hostname of a stream of Applications using automatic configuration

  Additionally, make sure that you clean the FND_NODES table according to the (how clean non-existent nodes or addresses IP of FND_NODES [260887.1 ID]).

  I have just said "Apple Support Community" by Apple Support.

  The title probably sums up what I'm trying to do. I'm looking for a way to add, change, and delete files on a NAS.

  Hardware: MacBook Pro 15, 1 TB of storage, 16 GB memory, OSX El Capitan.

  NAS: Qnap TS - 453 has: storage nominally 16 TB, up to about 5 TB.  4 WD 4TB disks in a RAID 5 configuration.

  The purpose of the NAS is to provide a backup system for computers and act a server "iTunes."

  I acquired the NAS after the death of my WD MyBook live in December 2015 after five years of reading backup and "iTunes" to my computer and the Sonos system.

  After two months of 'getting to know you' with the NAS, I finally managed to configure the server "iTunes" and Mirabile Indo-European it works!  I'm just doing the SIN to a back-up for computers.

  Now for the question: I am looking for an app (for lack of a better term) that will allow me to add and remove files to and from the NAS "iTunes" folder

  My search for a solution so far has indicated that:

  (1) NAS' iTunes folder is not really true Apple iTunes and

  (2) I need something that is DAAP (Digital Audio Access Protocol) friendly, that would allow me to add, change and delete the files.that would allow me to add, edit and delete files.

  I'm not looking for something that would synchronize the files iTunes NAS to one of my computers, I am all prepared to do myself if necessary.

  If I can't find an application so I use the app 'Brute Force' change my Mac iTunes required records and download again to my NAS.

  Why do you need an app to put the files in a folder on the NAS Server?  Make them just above in the Finder.  Maybe I'm missing just your problematic here.  Do you mean add your PEMA files to iTunes? I've never used this file format, but kind of, I would be very surprised if iTunes supported it.

  I don't understand what you're trying to say here.  "Apple iTunes" is an application. Yes, a folder is not an application.

  Be warned, we see not few messages from people that use iTunes with a NAS. Often the problems cannot be explained. sometimes just iTunes and NAS disagree togther.

  What part of the notification that you want to change? The page layout? The text? Something else?

  It won't be just a change of configuration entry in all cases. This is why it is not in the documentation. You will need to write a custom component that replaces the model "rma_notify_authors_email.htm" If you need drastic changes.

  I'll warn you now - be very careful of errant and/or extra white space when you create your model or the substitution of it is included in the model. The mail server that you send the mail by will probably not like him.

  You need to reach to hand modify the DNS server. You found the.app program does not allow this.

  First temporarily disable the server DNS from Mac in.app

  Then launch Terminal.app and edit the appropriate in - file

  / Library/server/name /.

  for example db.yourdomain.com

  Then add a line to this file looking like this, but with your values.

  _domainkey.yourdomain.com.               10800 IN TXT "t = y; o = ~ ; [email protected]".

  Note: You may need to do this as well on your Mac DNS server and also on an external DNS server that is managed by your Internet provider, it depends on how your domain is configured.

  Finally, use.app to start your Mac DNS server again, and then re - read the DNS files, including the addition above.

  I have a PC with Windows Vista Ultimate on it.  Turns off user access control.  On the sign as Admin will have all the rights.

  Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  Read-only for folders is normal (mine are).  See if this fix works for you:
