Does anyone know if Acrobat 9 Pro works in 64-bit WIndows 8?

Hi parpires

You are welcome to try, but it was not tested.  Also my understanding printer drivers have changed again in Windows 8 is unlikely that you will be able to function of the Adobe PDF printer.  Acrobat 10 and 11 Acrobat work correctly with Windows 8.  If you end up falling on the difficulties of installation then you probably want to upgrade to Acrobat 11.
