Download of landing pages

Working with a new body who do not know the Eloqua.  For the first time, we use the download feature in Eloqua to landing pages rather than WYISWYG. This is not my forte - I'm not good at coding, etc.

They argued the landing pages for me, with outside JS and CSS for html to call. And so I learned that it does not work in Eloqua. I know I could put the css docs in the content library, but it doesn't have to move in this direction. Instead, we he changed so that the html code includes these elements in the html code (again, not an expert, so I can be totally butcher my descriptions here).

In any case, the Agency is really satisfied with this method of doing things.  Does anyone have any comment on that? Is - it really against best practices? Is there something else we could do? All the comments I've seen on Topliners, etc. suggested that people are generally satisfied with the product html download in Eloqua for landing pages. I don't know how we had such massive disconnection or how to facilitate this operation. Appreciate the comments of the Eloquans!

We are a little new in this process, so you can take my comments with a grain of salt.  What we have found so far, is that it is easier to work with landing pages in Eloqua if the CSS and JS are online, as you saw.  Which allows you to make changes directly in the Eloqua html editor.  Otherwise, if you need to make changes in the CSS or JS, you will need to change the external files, download the new versions to the content of Eloqua, and then re-link to the new versions of CSS and JS library.  And you should probably remove older versions of the files, just so that you have not confused.  The file library includes a function to update a file in place but it works so slowly that they are useless.

Is - this recommended?  No, it isn't.  The use of external CSS and JS files is a common practice in the design of web pages and has been for some time.  But as far as I know, Eloqua does support the use of the files CSS and JS separated well enough to make at least a practical function, if you try to host all the files on the servers of Eloqua.  I think that it is an area where Eloqua could greatly improve.

There is another alternative.  You can host the files CSS and JS outside the repository of Eloqua, for example on your own website.  Link to these files directly from your Eloqua HTML landing page.  Then, as long as you have a good process to make changes to these files as necessary, and deploy quickly, you do not need to go through the hassle of trying to maintain links to files in the repository of Eloqua since they change over time.

  • Can I automatically send the link or directly on the landing page?

    Hello

I'm new to Acrobat sign. My intention is to have a new sign of the customer notice of disclaimer in Acrobat sign, and then once they do this, I want to sent a link to a file in my dropbox.  Is it possible to make or receive an email with this link or send them automatically to a landing page?

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hi andreat76333414,

I see that you have Adobe sign individual account, please be informed that the requested feature is only available in Adobe Enterprise sign account.

You can contact our sales team for the upgrade on the number mentioned in the link below:

Or as a workaround, you can share the link with the Message to download in the 'Message' box on the shipping page when the document is sent. However, signatory will receive a message in the e-mail and he will get to sign the document and the user can access the link even before signing the document.

  • How to account several assets on a landing page?

Happy Friday! I have two advantages on a landing page and must provide weekly reports to my sales team on which everyone has downloaded. Do a segment with visit a Web page by using the direct link of the asset? And if so, how to automate the report to come out every week. Don't forget to do it in 9, I'm not sure that with 10.

    Thank you.

    Brad

Here's how we report on the clicks of a landing page, that should give you the report on the active downloads.

In Insight, go to the website > Page Navigations and run the report for the desired period.  This will return a lot of results.  What you want to do is to configure a filter for 'Previous Page' and specify your destination as the previous Web Page page.  To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Click to Add a Condition to the upper part of the report
    2. Choose 'Previous Page' in the filter on: menu
    3. Qualify -click Choose is equivalent to in the drop-down menu, then enter the full URL of your landing page.
    4. Click apply

You should now get a report showing clicks on your landing page, including the active downloads.  You can add a condition for Web Page if you want to just zero in on these links.  That should give you the desired report.

To automate the delivery of the report, choose Subscribe to Email... in the home in the top menu on the left.  In the dialog box, you can choose the report format (PDF, HTML, CSV,...), set the schedule and define the recipients of the report.  Who takes care of the delivery of the report.

Let me know if it works!

    Take care

  • Problem with images not displaying only not the landing pages with IE8

We had a page that has been tested and seemed well, and when it was used as a landing page for the tactic today, one of the images does not appear in IE8 (the red x).  Other images will display correctly, including the different file types.  In addition, the same image that does not appear in IE8 is displayed in Firefox, Chrome, and IE10 (other browsers have not been tested yet).  Eloqua support had other suggestions for re - download the source image... This does not resolve the issue.

Everyone knows about this problem?  If so, do you know a solution/fix for it?

OK, we just found this... turns out that this particular image had been saved as CYMK, RGB in Photoshop not.  When it was changed to RGB, it worked.

  • Conversion of e-mail to the landing page?

Is there a quick way to convert an email to a landing page? This is an email that I have already uploaded to Eloqua (and deployed) so I have the code and it would not be a lot of hassle to just create a new page of destination from scratch. But I was wondering if there was a solution "Press a button" to my question.

    Thank you.

It is possible, but unfortunately there is no button "one push".

To do this, the easiest method is to click on the "View as Web page" link, then "Save as" in your browser. When you save, select 'Complete' in order to have the HTML and images. NOTE: The images are renamed in the HTML code (example: image1.jpg is now 5fdb0149-0ab4-4751-81ac - 389264f09ca2_imag.jpg). Because Eloqua does not recognize the name of 'new' file you do have the option in the download Assistant to "use existing. You have two options w / images.

Option 1: Because it does not recognize the name of the file we can download images of 'new' (5fdb0149-0ab4-4751-81ac - 389264f09ca2_imag.jpg) during the download. This means having double images.

Option 2: Choose "Do nothing" on each image during download. If you do this, you then go to your picture library and get the URL of each image that is already in the system and then go into the HTML code of the LP in Eloqua and replace the URL of the existing image in the picture library.

Verdict? Option 1 is the ideal score because it means that you will have double images (file storage best practice the nightmare!), but it is a lot easier than option 2.

  • Where can I find click-through to a landing page?

I'm trying to find a report in Insight E10, which breaks down the click-through to a landing page. I'm looking for something similar to the report Email Click-Through line breakdown, only for a landing page. Thank you!

I just got the phone with the support of the same exact question. They do not have a standard report that gives you what you are looking for.  I don't know if you have the same problem as me, but I got a job.  You can create a segment that search all contacts who have visited the destination of the click on your landing page and export the list of contacts.  So for us, the links that we try to follow our landing page are to .pdf documents downloads.  I'm creating a segment that tells me who reviewed these .pdfs in the last x number of days (visited websites).  Don't know if it works for your situation, but he did it for us.  Let me know if you have any questions!

  • How to create landing page w / many files related (I have ~ 60 requests for CSS, JS, Images, video, etc.)

    Hey everybody,

I created a fairly complex landing page w / a lot of file dependencies. See the example below:

    • logo.PNG
    • BG.png
    • video-miniature - 1.png
    • video-miniature - 2.png
    • video-miniature - 3.png
    • video-miniature - 4.png
    • video-miniature - 5.png
    • video-miniature-1 - large.png
    • video-miniature-2 - large.png
    • video-miniature-3 - large.png
    • video-miniature-4 - large.png
    • video-miniature-5 - large.png
    • Slide.js.js
    • form - validate.js
    • Infield - label.js
    • jQuery
    • styles. CSS
    • Police - awesome.css
    • bootstrap. CSS
    • Slider.CSS

    .... (You get the idea)

In any case, after downloading the HTML page, I have to go in the bin of the component library files and download each asset, then get the real URL (for example, http://domain.com/Web/landing/%7B7cb4efcc-8ff9-4b54-9add-5f07d783930b%7D_video-thumbnail-1.png)and paste it into the editor of Eloqua. I do it about 60 times for all files that requires this homepage and I was wondering if there is anyway to make a transfer to batch of these types of files?

I know that after the landing page HTML upload it is an option "Treat files" (see table), but never, I got 20 percent of the files even listed there so I skip this option and "Do nothing" every time because it is easier to track and get the URL of the component library file. There may be a way for me just to solve this problem? Let me know, thanks!

    Chris,

I would use dynamic links to all libraries. It is a very good compilation. https://cdnjs.com/

Final tweaks to the CSS, I have on the page.

  • Rules signature on landing pages?

    All the

I have a few questions about the rules of signature and page layouts.

First of all, the signature rules are always related to the Eloqua users?  If you have a system with hundreds or even an umpteenth vendors where you want to use signature page layouts, is it necessary to add all of these vendors as users?  I know that Eloqua helped upload signature mappings in large quantities (see this page), but I do not know how this relates Eloqua users.  And, if the signature rules are always related to users, is it possible to add new users in bulk?  I ask this question in the context of an application that is not a CRM integration.

Second, it is possible to use page layouts of signature or the rules on landing pages, for example to show the name, address and photo sales person contact?

    Thank you

    Andy

Signature rules - they are only used to deploy the emails from a particular sender... the sender must be a user in your database, eloqua... these go with email sending only and cannot be used on landing pages... you can always download the users... settings--> all upward--> users-->, click users, next to the bar to get started... Select users to download/update... here, you'll have a sample file with formatting required to use in the download process...

signature layouts - these are similar to the CDA, but will merge the data of the registration of the user of the sender... data being merged are defined by the registration of the user of the shippers (so these a little need to be used in tandem with signature rules) and on e-mail only...

However, you can use domain merges with information rep on emails and landing pages...

  • How to stop guests landing page

Hi, I downloaded my 3 pages to my host and when my domain name is typed in browser bar www.riflebitz.com the hosts now the page is displayed. However, if I type www.riflebitz.com/ladingpage.html my page is displayed. In dreamweaver, I have attributed this page as my home page but do not know how to make so that it can display by simply typing www.riflebitz.com any assistance received with gratitude timmer

The default page for simply by typing the domain name is usually index.html (sometimes it is default.html) - you need to contact your host, but I suggest that it would be index.html

    If I go to: http://www.riflebitz.com/landingpage.html

I don't see any page at all.

However, if I navigate to http://www.riflebitz.com/default.html then I see a type of landing page with a link at the bottom of the contact page.

I would say that you need to re - open your landingpage.html in dreamweaver and rename it index.html and upload to the server and you should be fine.

Please note: the contact page has a link to contact Page.html

You should NOT have spaces in your file names, and it is always safer to make sure that you use lowercase letters for the names of files as well.  Some servers are case sensitive, so be sure to not use index.html Index.html

    Thank you

    POOJA

    Hi Pooja,

Here are some steps you can follow to make the sensitive landing page mentioned: -.

    1. first of all write CSS Stylesheet of Eric Meyer Reset, which resets all of the margin padding.

2 then global css is that there are several pages.

    3. then a css external or internal but external css file is better than internal css.

    I hope this helps.
