Drawing with the sprites in a framework of

Hello
I use Sprites to draw quite large graphs. For me to do this interactively, I joined the nodes/edges in the graph in a UIComponent defined in the mxml file. I would also like to the UIComponent to be within a Panel, and therefore the content of this component should not be visibly this sign outside.

The problem is that I'm unable to set limits for this UIComponent, and so the graph occupies most of the screen beyond the Panel container area. (height/width for the UIComponent attributes do not address this).

What is the appropriate way to have the curve in a canvas with limited arae (with scrollbars so the graphic content is bigger than this region) so that it not overflow not display area desired?

In the code below, for example, I would like to the UIComponent (to which I add children Sprite) have limits so that it does not appear anywhere on the screen.

Thank you very much.

  • The difficulty of drawing with the pencil while zoomed in?

    When I draw on the stage using the pencil tool, while zooming in, the line I draw looks huge when I click and drag. When I let go, the line matches the size of other lines that I paint.

    Therefore, it is difficult to draw with any degree of detail when I zoomed in. Is it possible to change the 'preview' of the line that I paint everything by dragging?

    Here are some images showing what I mean:

    http://I39.Tinypic.com/2vjo6s7.PNG

    http://i43.Tinypic.com/mj0aid.PNG

    Also, I don't like the fact that the lines appear pixelated/pellet when I paint them, and then they become smooth, when I finished draw them. I would like if they would smooth look while I'm trying to actually draw them. Is it possible to change this?

    Thank you!

    [it's not clear it's a matter of flash pro cc, be - mod kglad]

    This behavior has been changed in Flash CC. Now when you draw with the pencil, even in maximized mode, live preview appears as the proper thickness (as if the drawing scale mode).

  • How to continue the drawing with the pen tool

    Hello

    Let's say that I start to draw an image with the pen tool. Something happens 1/2 through the work of track and I need to stop the trace. How I later come back and start the trace of my last point and continue to the end. Now, all I get is new anchor points and lines that do not join the original track. Thank you

    To resume adding segments to a pre-existing open path with the pen tool:

    1. Hover over the endpoint of the path. A slash mark appears next to the cursor.
    2. Click on the endpoint.
    3. Continue to add the anchorPoints.

    It is not necessary first to select the path (but it should be).

    JET.

  • Drawing with the pen tool or the line Segment tool

    Hello

    I have need of tips and tricks to draw the design of a singlet. What is the way most appropriate for the task? What should I draw the line one by one, or create a model brush to draw? Please refer to the image as an attachment for a better understanding. Thanks in advance.

    draw.jpg

    There is a lot to address the issue. Myself, I will draw all the basic shapes with the pen and shape tools (there really only 5 different forms in the main design), application of rounded corners effect according to the needs and duplication/reflection needed to reproduce the layout. So I "would make the cuts" on the forms by using additional objects... many positioned with step & repeat and/or mixture... and apply Pathfinder operations.

  • 'Holes' when you draw with the Brush tool

    pinselstrich.jpg

    Hello, why I get this 'hole' when I shoot with the Illustrator brush stroke, and how can I change it? (Illustrator CS6)

    Drag the brush in the Panel forms.

    Select the shape of the brush with direct selection

    Open the Atrributes

    Define the shape of the brush to the fill rule 'Non-Zero' (you must "Display options" to make visible buttons)

    And of course then Alt-do drag the brush published in the Panel forms once again, replacing the old.

  • How to start to draw with the pen tool, a different anchor point?

    It's as simple as that. How can I change the anchor point where I paint. I use the tool on Illustrator CS6 pen on a tablet.

    Thank you!!!

    for8aby,

    Guides are your friends, depending on whether you want to continue A) the shape of the path (so far) last anchor Point or B) create a new path starting with an internal Anchor Point with the pen tool:

    (A) right click/ClickDrag on/off the last anchor Point;

    (B) click anywhere near the internal Anchor Point, press space, and move the point on the path ( pathcommented for example) until you're here

    (Smart Guides say anchor), and then drag the handles, as appropriate.

    After that, you can continue as ususal.

  • Problem with the creation of a framework implemented in first Pro CS5 masks

    I'm having a problem with creating masks of an exported framework generated from first Pro CS5. I export the image that is 720 x 480. I open the image in Photoshop and check that there is still 720 x 480, change it to create my mask and important in Premier Pro to find the frame is therefore more 720 x 480. To see if the problem is with Photoshop I tried to export a picture and immediately re - import the back always first.  Of course, he has apparently changed aspect because it shows with vertical black bars on either side in the source viewer and actually overlaps the clip original/image as an image horizontally narrowed as part of the program sequence. No idea what I'm doing wrong?

    I am assuming that you are working with a DV footage in a DV sequence; This video format uses non-square pixels, but the images have square pixels. Probably, the pixel aspect ratio (PAR) of the imported image is not be interpreted correctly.

    Right-click on your any graph, and then select Edit > interpret footage. Check that the format of the pixels in the image is set; If this isn't D1/DV NTSC (. 9091), click on the option button "Conform" and choose that BY the menu drop down.

  • Drawing with the mouse

    Hello world

    I am an application drawing, everythings looks and works fine, except for one thing...

    My mouse cursor is hidden and a brush as a cursor follows. This slider is a movieclip, because the user chooses a color and the selected color becomes the tip of this brush.

    So far so good. But there is a problem... when I pull to the left line is drawn with no problem, but when I pull to the right, the line is broken, and I don't understand why.

    I had an experience, and with no movieclip "attached" to the mouse cursor, the line is drawn without problem, both right and left.

    I'll give you the code that handles this feature, in the hope that someone can help me on this.

    Thanks for your time...

    It's just to the right due to the shape of your custom cursor.  When he moves to right its receives a trigger than mouseout/mouseouthandler() event and.

  • Drawing with the pencil tool. Draw the second segment, previous disappears

    Using the pencil tool, I click-and - drag to draw a line, let the mouse button, click and hold to continue on.  When I leave the mouse upward at the end of the second tranche, the first segment disappears.  Why is this happening?  I don't want anything to disappear.

    Thank you

    Todd

    Double-click the pencil tool in the toolbar to access its settings.

    You want to deselect one or two 'keep selected' and 'edit the selected tracks' depending on how you want it behaves.

  • Please help with the variable corresponding full framework

    HI :-), could someone please hepl a beginner?

    I'm writing a small script AS3 in CS4 that allows me to take a step back and forward through an animation.

    I have a stop button a play button rewind button and a button to the front.

    the buttons work ok apart from when I hit the button to rewind sometimes it jumps to the beginning of the timeline rather than just take a step back a frame at a time.

    When I use the button stops the timeline where he is, the rewind button steps back as needed. But if you click on the button rewind everything first, he jumps at the beginning of the timeline, I know the theory as to why I can't get this to work.  I need to know how to increment a variable of integer type (meter) to increment as the playes of animation. that is the counter variable to match the chassis number.  Here is the code I have, someone could please tell me how to match a variable of integer type to the current image and tell me where to insert the line of code on the list. I added a fictitious line or pseudo-device code to show what I'm trying to do, but the syntax is wrong.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------

    var counter = 1;

    gotoAndStop (counter);

    function setupevents()
    {
    buttonplay.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, playbutton);
    buttonstop.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, stopbutton);
    buttonrewind.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, Retouret);
    buttonforward.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, forwardbutton);
    }

    SetupEvents();

    It's the dummy line or pseudo-device code that I mentioned in the question above...
    counter = frame;

    function to play the movie
    function playbutton(event:MouseEvent)
    {
    Play();
    }

    function to stop the movie using the stop button
    function stopbutton(event:MouseEvent)
    {
    Stop();

    function to take a step back through film using the rewind button
    function rewindbutton(event:MouseEvent)
    {
    If (Counter > 1)
    {
    Counter = counter - 1
    }

    gotoAndStop (counter);
    }

    function forward through film using the following button. I used a value of 60 because it comes to the amount of images in the scenario

    I don't know if this is a way of doing things or not
    function forwardbutton(event:MouseEvent)
    {
    If (Counter < 60)
    {
    Counter = counter + 1
    }
    gotoAndStop (counter);
    }
