Drivers for Webcam Studio 1558

I need the drivers for the Webcam Studio 1558 as the Windows 7 drivers do not seem to work, where I can download them.

Thank you

Resolved, another user in the forum had found the solution, the original 1558 Webcam software, which works very well with Windows 8.1 can be found here: Dell SX2210WFP Monitor driver Webcam Application Details | Reference Dell U.S.

Finally, works very well.  Thank you.

    Hello

I have the Dell studio 1558. It was working fine but now I have problems with the audio. No Audio is not heard from struggling speaker or headset. I tried to reinstall the driver IDT, but it isn't either installation. Help, please.

Hello. I apologize for the delay in answering your question.

Had tried and failed to install the Creative Labs software? A failure will cause the audio to fail.

If not this, then it could be faulty hardware. Run the audio Dell 32-bit diagnostic tests if you still have this tool on your hard disk. If you do not hear the sound during tests of the hardware on the motherboard failed. In this case, you can get a Jack audio usb to use it as a workaround.

If you no longer have the 32-bit Dell hard disk Diagnostics, you can download it from the Studio 1558 support page (under Diagnostics) and run it on a dvd or usb flash drive... See the instructions here for the Assembly of the diagnostics on a dvd or a flash drive.

The alternative to audio Dell 32-bit diagnostic tests run is to perform a complete System Recovery. If the audio does not immediately after a restart then the hardware has failed.

You probably need to reload the drivers of the device and any camera (general control software
included with the drivers and installed at the same time).

    Login as an administrator.

Control Panel - Device Manager - Imaging - write down of the brand and the model of camera - double
Click on it and on the tab of the driver is version. Now, click on update drivers (who cannot do anything
that MS is far behind the drivers of certification). The RIGHT CLICK on the camera - UNINSTALL
-REBOOT - it will refresh the driver stack.

Now, go to the system manufacturer's website and download the latest driver of the camera and other partners
the camera software (if not more recent get the same).

Download - SAVE - go to them and RIGHT CLICK - RUN AS ADMIN - reboot after each
    pilot.

Manually look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers.

Installation and update of drivers to 7 (updated drivers manually using the methods above
It is preferable to ensure that the latest drivers from the manufacturer of system and device manufacturers are located)

Then let windows updates on however prevent loading of drivers that are often
older than those that you have installed. If updates suggests a pilot can HIDE and watch
manually to see if their really is a more recent version (both system and the manufacturer of the device manufacturer

  • Can I download drivers for Dell XPS 420 girl (windows xp) on my computer (Dell Studio 17 Windows 7) on a cd instead of install on my computer?

I done a clean install on Dell XPS 420 after a crash.  Windows XP works fine, but it continues to ask that drivers can be installed before I can get on my internet which is At & T DSL with external modem.  When I try to go on the internet, it gives me the error of pilots.  I had what I thought, it was the disk drivers that came with the computer, but when I installed and then it is still asking for the correct drivers.  I called At & t for their support and they said I needed drivers.  That's why I came to Microsoft to download the drivers on my Dell Studio 17 on a cd, so I can load them onto the computer Dell XPS 420.  I was afraid to install on my computer because my Windows 7 running.

I don't know if I can load my Windows 7 and its drivers on the dell Xps 420.  It was a solution, I thought, but I'm not that computer from common sense to see if that might spoil the Dell XPS 420.   Any help would be appreciated.

Using another computer, go to the Dell support website and search the Windows XP drivers for your specific model number. Using your Dell's Service tag number is the fastest way to get the correct drivers.
    http://support.Dell.com/support/downloads/index.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=Gen

If there is then Windows XP Download drivers into a folder (with subfolders named "Chipset", "LAN", "Audio", etc) on your hard drive and burn all files on a CD driver.

Then, insert the CD into the computer XPS 420 and install all of the driver files, starting with the mother/chipset, SATA, Firewire card drivers (1394), LAN, Audio, etc, and so on.

For the problems of graphics card check download site of the manufacture of the graphics card for the latest Windows 7 drivers for your card.

  • I'm missing device of my drivers for logitech webcam c260 image in Vista

How do you get the device image in my drivers, I am trying to install logitech webcam c260 on my comp. and it won't allow me to install properly without image... Please help! :(

The best place for loicate and install drivers for your computer is the site of the brand of your webcam. That is to say"Logitech. I also find the drivers I need Microsoft TechNet.com. If your webcam is still under warranty, there should be no charge for Logitech to give you the halp you need for pilots. Sometimes, you can send the manufatuer to your computer, they will often have additional information for you, but there may be a fee for this service. Hope this was somewhat helpful. :))

  • Windows 7 drivers for Studio 1537

    Hello

I would like to set up my Dell laptop Studio 1537 with Windows 7 64 bit (current Vista 32 bit OS)
and all the specific drivers of Dell and application. I couldn't find the drivers listed on the pages of Dell drivers.

Can someone give me a hint where I can find drivers for Win 7 and apps for Studio 1537,.
or are there drivers available for other phones that I can use?

    Thank you
    Best regards
    Michael Schneider

For Windows 7 64 bit here, I haven't finished all the Studio models or still owe the 32-bit version:

    http://dellwindowsreinstallationguide.com/driver-sets/Studio-laptops/Studio-1537-Windows-7-64-bit/

However you can get virtually all the drivers printer Dell ftp site if you tell him to include all historic drivers:

    http://FTP1.Dell.com/pages/drivers/Studio-1537-all.html

Note When trying to download historical drivers, right click on the download area and copy the link and paste it into the address bar. There is a problem: http://ftp1.dell.com/chipset%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20/R255577.exe should be http://ftp1.dell.com/chipset/R255577.exe for example, otherwise you will get an error.

  • Windows 7 64 - bit drivers of Webcam for dv5t-1000

I must say, the dv5t has been solid as a rock and runs beautifully for the 3 years I've had.  In terms of operation, it is almost perfect.

Here's my problem.  I've upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate 64.  Everything works except for the webcam.  It is not detected as an unknown device.  The operating system, it seems that there is simply no.

    Here is what I tried:

Install all the drivers for 32 bit and 64 bits of Vista and Win 7 that could possibly related to the webcam to include various iterations of the 'HP MediaSmart Webcam Software' current versions past and old for all related models dv5t.  The software will not be installed due to no webcam detected.   I got the 2.2 version to install and it works, but you can't do anything about it due to no webcam detected.

Then I went on the Intel site that the newest chipset offered, I had.  According to Intel, everything was valid or current except my wired NIC I've updated that.  However, nothing helps.

I did several analyses of material and no still no detection of webcam.  I have all the latest patches from Microsoft and HP, as appropriate.

I tried to search the real manufacturer to the webcam for a model number and work backward from there, but I was unable to find any info on it.

Contacting customer service has no performance, no results. (they have been great in the past, btw)

I tried making in HP and on internet forums.  In the forums there are others who do and do not have the same problem, but it was not clear what dv5t flavor they had.  I tried the solutions proposed in the forum, but still nothing.  The internet did not get results, either on this issue.

The webcam worked with Vista Home 32, the operating system that originally shipped with the laptop and I've tried the drivers too.

If I had to guess the East just a certain disparity between the OS, webcam or the motherboard.

Please, if you have a solution, publish and share the wealth.

Really, I am satisfied with the dv5t, as it is the only model of this type at the time to offer a 16: 9 screen (all others were 13 x 8 and WOW what a difference).

Nothing definite to solve this problem would be great.

Thanks in advance for your time on this.

    Problem solved!

Here's what I discovered after working in this market and stop for about a month.

The problem was Windows 7 do not find the webcam at all after upgrading Vista Home.

    Contributing factors:

    • I've probably only ever used my webcam 3 times and certainly not in the months leading up to my upgrade to Windows 7, so I would not have noticed if the webcam worked during this period
    • Win 7 did not detect that there is a webcam or an unknown device.  'Hidden devices' in Device Manager turned up nothing

Windows 7 is pretty darn good on the detection of all the parts of your computer.  I thought it was strange.  It worked before, it must at least detect the webcam as he picked up all the other devices I found the drivers for and installed.

I took that there is a problem of physical device.  Either the webcam has been broken or disconnected.  So I disassembled my laptop.  I reconnect the webcam cable attached to my motherboard.  Who didn't get it.

After a lucky Google search I found this page.  InsideMyLaptop

Led me to the HP official service manual.  HP dv5t manual repair

The maintenance manual describes how to remove the bezel of the screen without having to dismantle the rest of the computer.  After popping off the coast of the bezel and pulling on the webcam and pulling about 1/4 inch connection cable, the webcam was detected automatically and works perfectly now.  Instructions for joining the webcam are very good in the repair of HP, but not for the faint of heart.

I break off a small piece of plastic that allows to lock the bezel into place on the screen.  It does not ruin the bezel adjustment back to the monitor but required a certain amount of power frightening to remove.  My computer and a built-in webcam continue to operate normally and is aesthetically intact.

If you do not want to take the risk of potentially ruining your laptop and it is also works well, don't do that.

I would highly recommend against doing this to anyone as it will cancel probably any warranty you have left on the laptop, if you left any guarantee AND ruin your computer.  I consider myself lucky to for having not broken bezel.

    The lessons reinforced:

If your computer does not detect a device, the device is not connected or is broken.  Work the problem from this angle.

    Thanks Mumbodog, for your entry.
