• Double slot sxs pro recording

  Could you clarify if the cameras at the launch will record double slot?

  In the latest version of the United Nations responsible for book of Jon Fauer on f5/f55, page 44, he mentions that sxs double slot recording will now not be available due to material limitations. It will be possible to register in double command on a single card. Being able to record two codecs on two separate maps has been one of these really nice well thought features I really like, the 'hot-swoping' cards on the fly, yet another useful feature.

  This feature will be available later on the trail or an upgrade. (for free of course!)

  Check double slot is a feature very useful and necessary. I often work on projects where we do not have the time or the resources to make a backup copy of the images as soon as it should be done. With a slit double registration system, we can have everything backed up we drive the original film.

  Given the apparent SxS form factor, there are some questions for which I find no answers, official or not.

  • The new AXS cards can be read by a reader (e.g., SBAC-$us20) SxS?
  • Other (non - AX) SxS cards can be read by the AXS - CR1 drive with the new SxS - AX card?

  Having to carry two card readers is awkward at best, so it would be a real help if the answer to each question is Yes.

  It would be interesting to know how many times it is save to use the same SxS Pro + and cards AXSM for productions? The two are quite expensive and should last a while. How many times can I use the same cards and remove it, the Formate and re - write them? Is there a deadline or expiration date?

  As Nate says he works very well with determination, I edit regularly with XDCAM files in Premiere CS6 and then finish with the raw to solve. Just make sure that the R5 is configured to use the same names as SxS videos (page config in the R5 of the menu).

  My imac is a former mac 2010 that did pass to yosemiti last year and everything was fine, that he will be sure to upgrade for the lates build el capitano, and it will keep on my apps thanks I'm pretty new on mac there is a little more than a year and everything works perfectly on yosemiti, if I were to upgrade ar come stay with the system I thanks for any help

  El Capitan upgrade should be no problem on an iMac 2010. As long as the machine is in good health at first that there should be no problem. Of course, as with any upgrade, make sure you have a backup full system, just in case, it is always wise to be safe.

  I want to reinstall Windows XP.  Installing boot CD, I did a quick format NTFS, then proceed installation.  Then I encountered the error:

  Windows XP.  Error: sxs.dll: syntax error in manifest or policy file "D:\I386\asms\6000\MSFT\VCRTL\VCRTL. MAN' on line 11.  Installation failed: D:\I386\asms.  Error message: incorrect function.

  This CD has rebuilt successfully another PC - we have an enterprise license.

  Try if you are able to replace the CD Rom drive or you can arrange for an external CD-ROM and proceed with the installation.

• Vista, Win sxs file exploded at 50 GB on a laptop of 80 GB available. How I can't take the sxs file in a reasonable size?

  The file sxs on my mother Vista machine is giant and unnecessarily huge (50 GB).  I know 'cleansing' will reduce, but I've read about many users reported a small reduction in size.  Obviously, this thing doesn't have to be anywhere near 50 GB in size, especially when the HD is only 80 GB total.

  What is the real way to kill this file down to the 8-15 GB, that it should be?  Please do not respond with simple "cleaning" - there must be a way to really shoot this thing.

• First/After Effects into conflict with the driver Sony SxS

  I recently installed the driver Sony SxS on a MacPro with OS of Yosemite. After installing, first would not open (boot image is up but then freezes) and I had to force quit. After that the effects gave me error messages following when I tried to open it:

  After that the effects cannot continue: error when access to the files instead of inside "/ users/wktvsuiteuser/Library/Preferences/Adobe/After Effects / 13.8", if it please check the file permissions and try again.

  After that the effects can't continue: unexpected failure during the application startup

  When I uninstall the SxS driver, Premiere and After Effects open without problem. After a few days later, I reinstalled the SxS driver, Premiere and After Effects are opened very well, but then this morning they stopped again opening. Other CC applications seem to open very well with the installed driver. Someone at - there no indication of the resolution of this conflict? Thank you.

  I don't know if we need to rebuild the battery, or if the problem of SxS seen on affected machines attached apps is resolved simply by updating the Agent.

  Most likely, you will have to re-create the AppStack. That said you can share what has been the issue that you have with SxS? The application, symptoms etc.?
