  I am trying to transfer my PlayBook to BB10 application, but I can't make custom fonts to work.

  Here is the code:

  The code seems functional to the AIR APIs, and, it works very well for the PlayBook.

  There are the specifics for BB10 embed fonts?

  I use embedding fonts and have recently brought my apps on BB10. I use Flash Builder 4.6 and the BB10 3.0.0 SDK. I didn't have problems. I pasted some of my code to hopefully help you identify the problem.

  I use CS5.5 and you added the following to my class:

  It works when running on the desktop.  The typed text is with the police.  But when I packaged and installed the app on my Android device, the typed text is changed to the default font.

  When you enter text in a text field, the runtime positions a control on the object TextField Flash native text entry. Given that the native controls cannot use built-in fonts, the closest the system font is used. On Android (but not iOS), you can use TLF to create a text input control that is designed entirely in Flash and you can use the fonts embedded in the entry. (I don't know if Flex components supports it on mobile, however, could still means to create your own if you use Flex.)

  Make sure your video file is all characters lowercase and without spaces or punctuation characters.

  Check that your site administrator has set the video as a type of authorized file mime type.

  Link to the file that Captivate HTM publishes and not to the SWF that you did in the above link.

  Make sure that all THE published files have been downloaded successfully to the web site, including the video file.

  I tried to play a video embedded in the field of the Navig. It has worked well in the Simulator. But does not work in the real aircraft. I use 8900. When I open the url in the default browser in 8900 its works perfectly. Y at - it all nedded field of browser settings play audio or the embedded video?

  Another problem is the time for video playback in the default browser for the blackberry 8900. When I tried the same thing in android and iphone taking 7-8 seconds to play. But 8900 takes 45 to 60 seconds.

  I am able to reproduce this problem.  It is caused by a problem with the BrowserField himself.  I don't have a work around for this when using the BrowserField.  You could launch the browser to display the page or play the video directly in your application using the player class.

  Our development team is aware of this problem, which should be resolved in a future version of BlackBerry Device Software.

• Police does not appear on the invoice from quickbooks

  I use QuickBooks first 2015 desktop / Windows 10 and have been using QB layout designer to customize the invoice from our company.  I spent the generic Arial to a more professional and clean police police I bought called Engrez.  Through the customization process, we tested constantly look of the invoice by using the preview print and actual prints without problem.  It wasn't until that we used the option E-mail QB - in which he converts the invoice in PDF format - we noticed that none of the police showed.  We spent hours on the phone first with support tech QB only for say them that the process of conversation of PDF and the police were not compatible.  Because we have invested a lot of time designing this new model, we really hope there is something else that can be done to make it work.  Anyone have any ideas?  Thanks, Jim

  solved my problem - turns out it's a problem with QB - they only work with true type fonts and one I used was open face.  Here's how to fix.  hope this helps someone else!

• Reset of the original fonts fonts folder/recovery

  I was wondering if there is a recovery tool for the default fonts in Vista? I downloaded a bunch of fonts and now I have over 2000 fonts and it's really out of the hand trying to go through them (slows all, essentially). I googled everything that I could think of to try to recover or reset the file, but there is nothing clearly elsewhere. Help?

  None containing the original set of fonts that came with Vista.  You can check to see what is available on the Microsoft Download Center at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/default.aspx and entry policies.  There is not much choice for Vista only - mostly have to do with the other operating systems or of Microsoft Products (and none is what you are looking for).  I don't see ANY original font sets for any operating system available yet (they once were for some older systems, but they stopped doing that years ago).

  For what you want, check the results of research of Bing here: http://www.bing.com/search?q=Microsoft+fonts+download&mkt=en-us&DI=6244&CE=14.0&CM=SearchWeb&first=1&FORM=PERE.  I have found no who are the original Vista fonts (and I don't know how to properly remove installed fonts to only replace the originals, even if you were able to find them).  If you really find them, post with the link to this site and I'll see if I can understand how do now that we have replacements available.  But the sad truth is that these other policies are likely to space to the top of your policies even more than they already are if add you them to the mixture.

  After the signing, the police says it is "digitally signed" in the preview of the fonts in the control panel.

  However, the Foundry does not appear in the control panel display.

• Lucida Grande police does not not on CS6

  Just installed on macbook pro CS6 - Lion 10.7.4 - Lucida Grande police works on CS5 but not on CS6. Can anyone help? I have tons of stuff web designed with that font.

  Try it out below mentioned steps and then check: -.

  1. drag the contents of the library / fonts folder in a new folder on the desktop. (If you have added manually the fonts in the Library / Application Support / Adobe / folder fonts, also drag the fonts to the new folder.)

  2. in the Finder, choose file > find.

  3. AdobeFnt.lst AdobeFnt.lst type, select the system drive and press return.

  4 remove all found AdobeFnt.lst files (for example, AdobeFnt10.lst).

  5 restart the computer.

  6 restart InDesign. InDesign creates new AdobeFnt.lst files.

  Try to re-create the problem. Then, do one of the following:

  • If the problem does not happen, bring a font in the folder Library/Fonts and then repeat steps 5 and 6 until you identify the problematic police.
  • If you have a font management utility, restart it and activate fonts in small groups or individually to identify the problematic font.
  • If the problem recurs, move the contents of the new folder in the back of the office to the Library/Fonts folder.

  Note: If no adobefnt.lst files is found in the search, make sure that the search criteria are set to "any" in the Find dialog box.
