F5 - 571 how to upgrade memory

I have; ve bought a new laptop from a supplier of the high street to the United Kingdom, and that memory has been a bit light (4 GB) I bought a new memory module (8 GB).

However, there is no obvious to get to the memory - bank way to I really unscrewed the screws 16.

Any ideas anyone - Acer don't support no interest!

Mark

OK - I went for him.

It is a F5-571-36fd

No pictures for now...

(1) place the laptop screen down with the hinge away from you

* There is no quick release battery

* There is no access to anything

(2) delete 'all' 18 screws

  • 3 along the battery
  • 2 in the courner of the right hand of the hinge
  • 2 in the left hand of the hinge courner
  • 4 along the front
  • 1 on the side of the CD case
  • 2 on the right side
  • 4 in the middle of the laptop

(3) remove the DVD player

(4) remove the 3 screws flat Dumpy

(5) remove the case (it is tight), so I made this way

Using a tool in plastic and wood here!

  • Start at the battery and lift the case now
  • Repeat this step for hinges stand
  • Now, make the side DVD
  • The corner right by the SD Reader front has been very tight for me
  • Now push the case of the vga/usb port on the right side

(6) be careful removing the ild, there is only one cable to the SD card reader

Be patient and go slowly - I'm far from being a geek and it took me 20 minutes

    It's under the keyboard?

    Thank you very much.

    Hello

The memory locations that you will find under the keyboard.
Before you start the upgrade procedure you must close the laptop and remove the ca and battery adapter cable.

1.) mesh you finger under a Groove at the end of the brace of keyboard and lift up to relase latches and remove the brace of keyboard.
2.) remove the two screws fixing the keyboard
3.) lift the rear of the keyboard, turn it toward you and drop in the face on the palmrest. (do not touch the keys)
4.) remove two screws and take off the bar to the memory cover.
5.) fit the connectors of memory modules into the socket at a 45-degree angle about and push down until each side snap. Align the thenotch of the memory module with the memory slot and gently insert the module into the slot.

  • Acer Aspire x 3960-how to upgrade memory?

I hope that someone on the forum will be able to help me. I am wanting to upgrade the memory on my Aspire x 3960 (small form factor desktop) but to be honest I don't have any idea how to do it. I'm ok with the purchase of real memory and know how much it will, but the problem is to install.

I opened the folder and it does not seem a way to access the memory without taking the DVD player on (which I don't know how to do). Does anyone have any idea how I can do that he leads me in the corners. I have attached a picture of what the inside looks like just in case it is useful.

OK, I managed to sort it out. I had to remove the front panel and there is 2 screws. Remove the screws allows the dvd drive & disc hard case to slide and then I was able to install additional memory.

    Hello

I have a Qosmio G30-201, with the following specifications:
    -Technology Intel® Centrino® Duo Mobile with Intel® Core 2 Duo processor T7400 - Genuine Windows® XP Media Center Edition - 400 (200 + 200) GB drive hard - 2 048 (1, 024 + 1, 024) MB of RAM DDR2 (533 MHz) - 17 "Toshiba TruBrite® TFT WUXGA screen-DVD - ROM HD player

    Running Vista Ultimate

I want to upgrade the memory to 4096.

Do I have to buy memory 4096, or if I add 2048?

What memory to buy? Toshiba do not seem to sell MB RAM DDR2 (533 MHz) after 4 years. What other memory would be appropriate?

    Thank you very much

    Best regards

    Nick

Your laptop can handle with 4 GB of RAM and I recommend you to use the 2 x 2GB module.
Compatible 2 GB module has part number PA3513U-1M2G or Kingston KTT667D2 / 2G.

Put the shadow party in Google and you will find a place where you can order it in your country.

    Good bye

  • How to upgrade memory on a HP 15 - d040nr TouchSmart laptop

I recently bought an HP TouchSmart 15-d040nr Notebook PC. The unit comes with 4 GB of memory. The data sheet says that there are 2 user accessible memory slots. I can only find housing. Another location location so I can add an additional memory of 4 GB module?

Yes, it is said that BUT your machine uses different CPU. It should not be there. You can find more information on the first manual from the following link:

  • How to upgrade memory hp probook 4530 s

I just bought a ProBook s 4530 with 4 GB of ram DDR3 1333 Mhz and I would like to add another 8Gb total.

How can I open to add it? I am a user of 26 years and can understand most of them, but I don't want to break anything trying to go down the lower lid. There is no obvious screws.

    Thank you!

I found the answer, but someone else might interest you:

Remove the battery and press the battery locking latches inward with a little force and back cover jump forward. Its really a system they have for maintenance.

One thing to note, I noticed on mine there is a security screw that is used to secure it in place. Mine was not there and was screwed into a dummy hole. I assume that the user has the choice to use or not. You can check to see if there's a security screw keeps the lid on somewhere.

  • Upgrading memory on the NB550D - 11 d - 4 GB of RAM are possible

To anyone who thinks of a memory upgrade on the NB550D:

The NB550D supports up to 4 GB of memory, not only 2 GB as mentioned by Toshiba in their specifications.
Upgrade memory to 2 GB is _only limited_ by the pre installed Windows 7 Starter OS, and not by the netbook itself.

I use Linux Mint 11 Katya, 64-bit and my system works perfectly well with a 4 GB ram module. If you want to use the full support for 4 GB ram, get rid of the Win 7 Starter operating system.

Specifications for more memory ram volume are DDR3 1333 MHz PC3-10600 SO-Dimm. I chose a 4 GB of Corsair module, because of the guarantee of 30 years of offers from Corsair.

It took me a while to find this out hope, that this will be a help to all those who are just as secure as I was how to upgrade memory NB550D. Good luck. (o).

    Thanks for the comments

Also it of important to mention than the 32-bit systems (not serious if its Linux or Windows) would recognize only 3.2 GB since it is a limitation of 32-bit
So to use all of the 4 GB RAM 64-bit system is required.

Assuming that you previously purchased on the app store and your Mac meets the minimum requirements, unload you enough data on an external drive to free the necessary disk space and update via the app store. If you buy before it and it is not in your shopping list, you do not have.

  • Portege M780 - how to upgrade the memory?

I have a M780. I wanted to move to 8 GB. But if I open the memory module, I can find a slot for the memory. How can I access the other get 2 x 4 GB?

As they seem to be similar to the M750, maybe it's the same thing with the M750 and someone can answer this question. Unable to find a service manual for the M750 / M780 either.

    Hi schuerstedt,

Really, you ask where the other memory module location?
The user manual is not interesting for you right?

Well, if you check the user manual, you can find an exact description how replace the memory sticks with lots of photos.
    Check this box!

BTW, the other location is placed under the keyboard.
