  • Installed Patch Captivate now running Captivate 8.0.1.242
  • Installed the latest Photoshop CC 2015 from 26.Nov.2015
  • Mac OS 10.10.2 (Yosemite)
    

  QUESTION:

  • Need to get photoshop back and forth to work with captivate 8
  • When a photoshop file imported to the library and layers are kept the green icon 'status' does not appear
  • Also the library file cannot be updated in any way

  Someone has already solved this problem before or heard of this happening?

  Although both are Adobe applications, it happened so often: when a new version of Photoshop is released (in the case of 2015) back and forth with Captivate is broken. I'm on Windows, sorry, but I kept CC2014 CC2015 PS and PS because going back and forth with Captivate 8 was broken (again). Only 9 Captivate back and forth is functional with PS CC2015. The worst thing is that for the first time that cc2015 has been remove older versions without warning, you need to use the Advanced button in the dialog box of Setup to force to keep the previous version (which is totally legal for a subscription have two versions!). It is not very user friendly, I don't know who is to blame, maybe Adobe's just too big.

• Flash CS4 presentation Slide, back and forth navigation

  Hi all

  What is the easiest (for novices of Fash) to navigate backward between slides of the presentation made with Flash slide show function. Each slide contains animations and playing well the first time, but then if I want to go back to a slide, it only show the last image of this slide.

  I tried many things including making buttons for back and forth and managed to make buttons that fade when Pan you on them (great :) but not achievement can lead to actually do things for me, like going forward and backward.) I tried to assign to the image of the button 'UP' following script, but it does not work:

  Does feel what I'm after? Can someone help me? I started Flash there is a week and don't Kow much and I have this presentation due at the end of the week. It all works fine execpt for navigation back to slides, after that I ran the film once.

  Also, when I run the movie the first time that I am the right arrow to go to the next slide (because I'll be talking when she introduced) and this happens without any script other than having stop() to the last frame of each slide.

  Thank you very much, I need the easiest way to do this because I'm a beginner.

  I took a quick glance to your presentation, and there are several problems:

  1. you can only use AS2 in a slide show, in AS3 classes screen/slide show disappeared ;-)

  2. in your components Inspector, you auto KeyNav turned on, which means right and left, arrow key space is reserved for Navigation, as well as the reprogramming of these keys will cause problems

  3. in a slide presentation, all the slides are by default loaded on startup, so if you have animations on the timelines with no stop() command on the first image, they all will play in a loop (this is not what you want)

  4. instead of programming on the timeline, attach events to slides (open the window > events) that way you does not work by referencing errors

  Find the best attached presentation.

• HP PhotoSmart 6525 Switching Back-and-Forth between USB and wireless

  Hello

  I set up my HP PhotoSmart 6525 following installation 'wireless with a router' instructions (i.e. No Direct wireless).  I am able to print from my laptop through the wireless network.  I would also like to be able to print from my laptop using the USB connection at the time where my laptop is physically sitting next to the printer.  At times where it is not the case, I want to continue to be able to print wireless.

  Is it possible to install the printer drivers on the laptop so that I can switch easily back and forth between printing USB and wireless printing?  I suspect that it is not possible because of the user's guide has a section describing how do to "Change a USB connection to a wireless network" you click on an item of menu called "convert a connected USB printer wireless.  There are no instructions to know how to convert USB.  In addition, the use of the word "convert" makes no sound as you can maintain the two methods to print simultaneously on a single computer.

  Does anyone know if this is possible and if so, how?

  Hey Paul2,.

  I see that you have the HP Photosmart 6525 installed for a wireless printing capability and would also like to add a USB driver so that it is available for use by the printer.  Please follow the steps below to add a copy of the printer for USB printing.  The steps below are for Windows 7 and below computers.  If you have Windows 8, then the steps will be slightly different then let me know.  Please let me know if you have a Mac, because I can provide these steps at this point here.

  • Press the start menu of the computer
  • Select all programs
  • Open the HP folder
  • Open the folder for the Photosmart HP 6520 series
  • Select "printer setup and software."
  • Select the option to add a new printer
  • Select the USB option
  • Connect the USB cable when the software asks and proceed through the installation process

  You let driver Jack without wire in place and add a second printer in the devices window and print USB printers.  The USB printer may contain 1 copy in the name as a differentiation, but it must also indicate network in the name of the printer to indicate that it is the wireless option.

  OK, at first it seemed the best thing to do, but I tried to run a number of different ways and nothing seems to work. I have a clip I want to constantly back and forth on the stage, basically "bounce" the right and left sides. What is the best way to do this with AS2?

  I have the clip begins 425 pixels on the X and is closing 100 pixels on the X. The size of my film is 400 per 100 (size of the banner).
  
  I put variables defining the clips 'start' and 'end '. I need the clamp back to 425 425 on the X - 100 and -100. So basically I want the clip (which is a car) go back as long as the movie plays. I could do with a little work animation but Im trying to improve with the actionscript that I know much more versatile sound.

• Is there any option to make Firefox 10 DO NOT hide the button back and forth?

  It seems to be a new feature in Firefox 10 front and back navigation buttons are hidden whenever they can without navigating a site, but switch to another site or more (not sure). However, I would like to Firefox to never hide the buttons, just as it was before.

  What Windows platform should not make a big difference. The screenshot may appear as coming from an older version of Windows, but the basics should be the same.

• Windows XP WiFi every two minutes of back and forth!

  I had to use my old Tablet Toshiba with Windows XP Pro.

  The WiFi connection is lost every two minutes, and then reconnect to be lost again in two minutes.
  Thanks for any help or words of encouragement, because this could be taxing on me, but I have to fix it.

• VMPlayer newbie - switch back and forth between the host and the guest operating system

  I am newbie to VMPlayer. I just installed VMPlayer 3.0.0 build-203739 on Red Hat Linux 5 (host). Then I created a VM comments Kubuntu (8.10). So far so good. In the VMPlayer window, I selected 'play Virtual Machine '. After this, the host operating system controls disappeared and I could see a taskbar on the top of my screen and I could also see Kubuntu startup (in an area of the small window in the center of the screen). The problem I'm running is that I'm not able to navigate outside of this area of the small window. I'm not even able to click/Select the taskbar of VMPlayer top of the screen. The mouse movement is limited to the area of the small window. How to and fro my host and the guest operating system? Is there a key combination? I finally had to stop my VM guest to return to the control of my host system. I guess it's a problem quite newbie that I am running. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Host Windows to switch between comments and the OS (when you are in the guest operating system), you must use ctrl + alt.

  According to this link , it's the same thing in Linux host too.

  >Default VMware Player uses key combination Ctrl + Alt to jump out of the guest. Then CTRLAltdel is accessible via theAltInsert command. If you find this annoying, you can change the jump shortcut to CtrlAltshift by adding the following lines to your ~/.vmware/preferences:

  > pref.hotkey.shift = "true".

  > pref.hotkey.control = "true".

  > pref.hotkey.alt = "true".

  After your installation OS in the virtual machine, install "VMware Tools" on it so you will get better performance and some improvements (like moving your mouse out of guest to your host operating system operating system and Vice Versa, or be able to copy beyond host/guest, better resolution on reviews and...)
