  Im trying to use the Sony HDR-XR160 for a video live feed to the internet, but can't seem to find out if this is possible.

  We have a debate going to him and so I thought I would ask an outside entrance. We have a request for a video link in an e-mail message, the door but this video is available on our Web site with no door.   I would say that if I had to fill out a form to view our video and then later know I could have watched the video without having to fill out a form, I would be a little ticked off. My advice would be to have the same process, regardless of how the Viewer found the video.

• Best setting for creating video in LR

  First of all I isn't about creating a video of Raw still photos in LR.   Actually two different subjects;

  (1) issue with MP4 - I have news for all settings, the formats to do this.  I created a MP4 1080 p with music and it worked well on Win7 OS but not on XP or Vista... The audio has not played correctly.      I might be able to live with that, but I would like to know if it would solve the audio problem to create 1080 p or 720 p? a compromise in quality? ... I'm a real beginner in this field...     Photos videos I've ever seen were not good quality, but this created high quality.

  (2) another question - what format/arrangement in LR to create a DVD with audio that could be played in a unit not Blu Ray... I want to be able to use a large TV with DVD player...    Can I use video to create or make a slideshow with audio and what setting...   I know I have to do some reading...    I'm a little under the gun to get treatment results and since I have so many pictures, they will be good for this sort of thing vs. providing JPEG images quite normal.

  Regarding playback of video files on different operating systems it is more dependent on the player you use and the video card, as the OS that you are using. On windows systems windows media player must manage HD formats as long as your video card is up to, if you have problems to download VLC media player (just google it) because it will play anything you throw at it.

  Video output LR is very limited (and in my opinion a waste of time), if you really want to integrate still images into a video format would do you better to use a video editing rather than the release of LR application. For the best quality of still images slideshow, you'd also better be showing slideshows directly using LR itself or PDF as same HD video will be just far corresponding to a photographic image quality always. If you want to mix still and moving images, then I would crop and export as TIFF 8-bit images and import them into the application where you can have a lot more control over editing video. On Mac, i-Film is good enough for basic video editing. Unfortunately on windows you can really buy a request the free windows application is useless. The elements of Prime Minister is a pretty good choice.

  If you do not want to use the video exported directly from setting LR HD is 1080 p or 720 p and it would require a Blue Ray disc play properly. HD 1080 p gives a format 16:9 with a maximum width of 1920pxs, 720 p 1280 x 720pxs. To make a standard DVD, you use the output 720 x 440 (rather than two HD formats) and then will need you a DVD authoring application to actually burn the DVD.

  In addition, I have an a couple of tests on the HD output LR slide compared to using elements of Prime Minister. I'll post to Vimeo and put links once they show themselves. One point emerges immediately, even without sound, the slide show even is 20% larger LR only emitted by elements using the parameters of compression recommended Vimeo in both cases. Played on my machine directly the Elements version also looks better, if this will show also online I don't know until they have downloaded and rendered.

  The same rules apply to broadcasts. Unless you have a server of monster with an interface of 10 GigE network, the limits of the resources of your hardware and network will be usually reached before selfs of FMS.

  It is certainly possible to distribute the live stream between a third-party provider... you have absolutely not to run your own servers. As for the factor of cost of operation of your own FMS vs using a CDN, it really depends on your use case, the amount of traffic you will have service and what server/network resources you already have at your disposal.

• mediaPlayer.state - play status not reported for live streams

  I'm listening for the MEDIA_PLAYER_STATE_CHANGE event on mediaPlayer to control the display of a chart of buffering. When you listen to a video recording I get an equal mediaPlayer.state to "buffer" followed by a State equal to 'play '. However, when reading a live feed I get the status of "buffer" but never to see the State of 'game '. Live video plays but the change event seems not be sent.

  The two videos are streaming from FMS.

  Has anyone else seen elsewhere? Please let me know if there are additional details, you want to know to help find it.

  Thank you Michael for reporting this issue, a bug is already ranked for that matter. You can listen to PLAY_STATE_CHANGE on PlayEvent with Live Stream to work around the problem until the bug is fixed.

  I get an error "not an image" that occurs in the Imaq reverse VI when I image acquisition to enter USB plugged into the Img Src for the Inverse VI.

  Any suggestions how to get around this problem?

  I enclose two files.  The "Live video" VI allows the user to acquire video directly from a USB camera.  The VI 'Negative video Live' is the file I'm having a problem with.

  These were related to the AVerTM62_x64.sys TM6200 BDA Driver of AVerMedia TECHNOLOGIES, Inc..  I remove the current driver and install the latest driver available.

  Is there a difference or is it a failure?

  CNSC allows us to deliver unicast and multicast for Desktop Video. We do not use Digital Signage still, but I think that the 2nd should only apply to digital display. Yes, there are different documentation for DMS and the CNSC, and they are almost completely out of the other.
