  I have a problem with my sound...

  I cleaned up my laptop with like scan disk, tune up and defragmentation, and others as spyeraser

  I also checked the drivers or hardware updates I've installed

  all up to date.

  but my sound still does not work for windows as a start up or stop, but it sounds market for games such as card games or 3d games.

  audio files for windows are here but do not playin, updated the codec and Media Player...

  can anyone help?

  Could be that the user account has been corrupted. If this is the case, you can transfer all the data and settings in the new user account from the old user account.

• Request help with files of mystery on my drive C:\

  I have these files two mystery in my C:\ drive, and I would like to know what they are and if they are essential to my system.  If this isn't the case, I want to delete them.  I will list below and hope someone has an idea what they are, because if I had known what they were I would be more comfortable with having them on here if they are essential and happier if I could delete them if they can be removed without harming my computer.

  c837e3c9854c3379c2.  It's the one with something in it, a file named'%temp% dd_msxml_retMSI'.

• Requested help recovering from the change that I did for the 'Public' of Vista Home Premium file permissions for everyone

  I made a blunder when changing the permissions of public folders for everyone.  I am now connected to Vista Home Premium on my home PC as an Admin will be complete permissiongs.  When I right click on the folder Public, pooling and property options are both now gone.  How to restore the availability of these options?  Also, I can access to is no longer the files that I previously copied into the Public folder.  How can I restore my access to these files?

  Have you started with elevated privileges command prompt? Just running in the administrator account is not enough. Looks like you don't have because it starts in your user directory. If you were high would begin in the Windows\System32 directory.

  I can't guarantee that this will fix your system. You must give permissions for the system and other users accounts.  If you have access to another system, I would compare the settings there. These programs will help you determine the permissions associated with a system

  Hello, I have a Dell Inspiron 530 running Windows Vista Home Edition. I'm trying to access the system BIOS and there a red enter password screen. I tried to guess and enter the passwords with the word DELL in several newspapers and none of them worked. I didn't go into too many wrong passwords because I didn't know if the system would lock me up. Can someone help me the BIOS password connect password or disable it some how? Thank you in advance.

  I work with 11.1.1.7 & 11.1.2.3 Jdev and slowly going blind.

  In the help font sizes can be increased and I usually have to increase the size.  However, if I close the help, then later go back inside, the police, the sizes are tiny - back and I have to press the size button increase 6 times (requiring two clicks for each increase in size) to a comfortable size.

  1. can you please put a memory for the font sizes?

  2. can we set up a slider control or something more easily increase the font?

  I have a scrollable table cell (300px wide and 400 px high) which can contain images and text. The contents of the cell should be scrollable.

  I'm just a beginner, but not very skilled in Dreamweaver CS3 on a PC. I worked a bit with CSS.

  If someone could help me, I would really appreciate it especially if you are able to direct me to the video tutorial in which this is demonstrated. I have a subscription on Lynda.com and Kelby Training online but see nothing on this subject.

  I have read several posts on 'scrollables DIVs' on the forum but have not been able to apply them successfully.

  I would be grateful to anyone who helps.

• Request help second addition, internal hard drive [HP Pavilion Elite e9290f]

  Quick question here. I am a music producer and you can always use a ton of extra space as some of my projects are 17 to 20 GB in size. My HP e9290f comes with a stock of 1 TB Seagate (I think) internal hard drive. I intend to add this DeckStar HGST hard 4 TB (7200 RPM)

  However, I am not sure, if this drive is compatible with my computer. I talked about the upgrade & maintenance manual but inside, he tells me only how to replace the current internal hard drive. The addition of this amount of space external hard drive is not an option since all my ports are used by external hard drive! Can anyone shed light on what tools I need exactly to connect this HD extra 4TB? I would appreciate your answers, because time is of the essence

  I have not tested a HDD 4 TB on the motherboard of truckee. In theory, it should work as a data reader set shaped like a GPT disk.

  Another option if you don't want to take the risk is to install two hard drives of 2 TB. The one in the location empty in the cage from the hard drive and another in the optical drive Bay (if open) second.  You will need one 3.5 "to 5.25" adapter if you use the optical Bay.

  Check on the return policy for the 4 TB harddrive and see if your can return/exchange it if it doesn't work.  Kit retail for Hitachi 4TB has an optional driver if the motherboard of your PC will not format the drive completely outside up to 4 TB.
