Generate Clones of brother

When designing for the display of tabular data, it would be very useful if there was a way to tell an element to repeat a certain amount of time. Then all elements would be affected when you change styles. Repeated items not necessarily part of the physical structure of HTML, exported HTML or even display of the tree. Essentially, they are only there for the designer to layout. I guess there could be an option to extend the element repeated for those who want to break the link and have more granular control over each brother.

It would help the flow of work in a way that shouldn't give the HTML Developer more than necessary for the designer.

Think you to Adobe's Forum? Its useful for you?

Thanks for the comments. It is specifically to show the content that would normally get taken over by a CMS such that repeat entries in a list of blogs or RSS feeds? People have also asked a component library, but this is not exactly like that. Maybe they could be transformed into the same solution, but I'm not sure about this.

We will keep this review we watch any other aspect to work on. Thanks for your suggestion and thank you for using the Reflow!

  • Closure of the Clones of models

I use a Template and VI server to create several "clones" that allows me to perform several tasks in parallel.  The Clones are written as a stand-alone VI, with a stop button on the control panel until I push by program to stop the Clone.  If I create, for example, three clones, I'll get three before Clone 1 Clone 2 panels and 3 clone.

When I go to close the project, I wonder if I want to save the created Clones.  The answer, of course, is always 'no '.  Is there a way to 'close' programmatically these Clones without saving them so I asked this question?  I'm happy to have the front panels are not visible - indeed, my routine to start the Clone has an option "Hide the front panel" and my routine to stop the Clone has an option "Close cover" - If either is set, the Clone of the front panel are not visible when the program terminates.  However, even in this case, the fence project asks me to save all the Clones.

Another issue that could be related to "Unregistered Clones" - when the program and the Clones are stopped and I try to fill in the project, I get a message saying "the proposed closure will stop some current screws execution".  However, to the best of my knowledge, there is no screws running is there something that I am missing?  'Do something' to the farm/stop all that generated this message?

I guess that there are the "arguments" (or maybe even 'evidence') on the best way to spawn asynchronous clones - using a model of VI (like me) and start to help run a VI, making the reentrant VI and it start by running a VI or using the asynchronous call start.  I don't know the relative merits of these different methods, but conceptually (think in terms of 'prove accuracy', explaining to others, maintenance, etc.), model VI method seems not 'wrong' to me.  In any case, it's the premise of my question.

I have all the clones close to "" asking them to stop.  I have two chances to close their facades - I can choose to run them without having to open the front panel, or can choose to close the front before stopping them.  If I make one (or both) of these, I received both a message saying, I couldn't close the project without stopping a VI running (but there was no 'obviously' running VI) and asking me to save all the clones.

The correct answer to my question was to be sure that the references used to open and close the clones has been closed, something that I had forgotten to do (I discovered and corrected this omission today).  It seems the answer to my question.

  • 'Clone' of the project library (.lvlib)

We have a study on sound localization - move us a speaker with a robotic arm, play sound through the speaker, ask our subjects to point a laser where they perceive the location of the sound and press a button.  We can also turn on LEDs and lasers, adjust sync settings, even to move the sound source.  The various tests are "programmed" by entries into an Excel workbook with columns for the timing, healthy situation, sound settings, etc.  In addition to the Excel workbook, we generate 3 output files - a header file XML that describes the configuration of the recording (analog and digital channel names and scales) and saves the settings of each trial as it is executed, an XML event which records all of the events of "point-in-time", such as Messages, status changes, or modifies the digital I/o, and a file of examples that contains N (usually 16) sampled analog and digital channels sampled at 1 kHz.  We control all of this a LabVIEW Real-time project, which also includes routines to study, manipulate and analyze data of output files.

The project evolves (slowly) - we are currently at Version 2.0 (Version 1.x was developed in LabVIEW 7.0, this is the complete rewrite 2012/2014, "start from scratch and do it right, or at least better").  We are contemplating adding the ability to study the sounds delivered via stereo headphones (vary the volume from left to right or by adding a small time gap between channels) and calls this Version 2.1.

To try and prevent "Version hell", we intend to do "backward compatibility" Versions - we will Add some new columns to the workbook Excel for new parameters in headphones, but put in place LabVIEW code to simply "do nothing" (with headphones) if he reads a Version 2.0 workbook where these parameters are lacking.  This allows us to code of Version 2.1 allows to make a Version 2.0 experience.

We are faced with one of the problems are to know how read and analyze or manipulate data files resulting.  For example, the header file contains specific sets the version of the data, which are analyzed by the XML parser and converted directly into a Cluster of LabVIEW.  Thus a Version 2.0 file must be read by the code who "knows" a Cluster of Trial Version 2.0, whereas a 2.1 file needs a trial 2.1 Cluster.

When I read the header file, the first thing I encounter is the Version number (2.0 or 2.1).  Knowing this, I could, in principle, use a Case statement to call a Version 2.0 or Version 2.1 analysis routine.  But I am trying to 'avoid a mess', and libraries in the project seems a good way to do so, if I understand how to use them properly.

[For now, I have to say that I tried a little experiment: I have created a new project, built Library1 in a folder with a 'Hello' and 'Test' Library1, built the library 2 (inside the folder library 2) with 'Hello' and 'Test' (different) and called the high-level.]  Worked well.  I then "took a shortcut" and copied the folder Library1 (outside of LabVIEW) on the menaces3.  When I said that the project to add 3 library, I had a mess of conflicts, which I couldn't resolve.  And I "broke" LabVIEW - even after removing all the .lvlib and the .lvproj files, I couldn't create a project and make a folder to add (Snapshot) without a missing file error to appear.  I did the experiment using LabVIEW 2012 - this problem has affected not only LabVIEW 2012, but also 2013 LabVIEW and LabVIEW 2014, but not LabVIEW 2011.  I spoke with the support of OR, which are also puzzled.  I am currently working in a new virtual machine until I can get LabVIEW "repaired"].

What I want to do is identify all Version-specific routines in my folder of analysis and include data in this case TypeDefs for the Version-specific parts.  I would then "wrap" all this in a project library Version 2.0.  The code "on the outside" would have its own copy of TypeDefs (she could use the "Latest Version", as external routines are supposed to be 'backward compatibility'.

    So here are my questions.

    1. Suppose that I restructured my project so that I have a record, both "Real" and "Virtual" (in the project) parsing, and it contains a subfolder called Version 2.0 that contains the Version-specific TypeDefs and most of parsing code.  Is there an easy way to transform the Version 2.0 to Version 2.0 Library folder so that when I call functions in this library, they use Version 2.0 of the TypeDefs of the library, regardless of the TypeDefs declared in the main routine?

  • Assuming that I have a folder of Version 2.0 of work and the library, is there an easy way to "clone" to make a folder of Version 2.1 and the library?  If so, all I would need to do the "work" for Version 2.1 of the code would replace TypeDefs of Version 2.0 in the file of Version 2.1 with the "correct" TypeDefs, and (b) add any additional analysis code is required for the new features in the new Version.
  • I apologize for the long-winded nature of this issue.  I look for tutorials on libraries of the project (there are), but none covered this topic.  To pay for your patience, I am happy to write and submit to the OR for a future white paper on libraries of the project - which would speak?

    Bob Schor

PS - Moderator - if it belongs to another Forum, feel free to move it.

On the money Bob!  Save under... Duplicate the hierarchy to the new location (requires that the new library offers a new name)

To convert a virtual folder to a lvlib just to create a new lvlib in the project and move the project members want in the new lvlib Project Explorer does the rest of the book nitty gritty on registration of the members of the lvlib with the new property information.  (You will be prompted to save the members when the composition is changed)

And Yes, it's the kind of mistake you don't do twice.  And, believe it or not, I had this type of issue used to justify not using projects! "they are too much hassle when you mud round in windows Explorer ' then I asked them if the never borrowed the car of their father and did not him tell you parked above on the next Street.  They now use projects.

  • Creating a Clone of VI in the real-time platform

    Hello

I wanted to create a clone of VI in time real LV on cRIO-9022 controller. I changed the properties to run VI and selected pre allocated incoming running clone.

But I'm unable to generate the clone like this.

I read from here, "you can configure LabVIEW to allocate or share a VI clones reentrant clone shared within a structure ofloop delayed or Timed Sequence" .

My question is how can we create a clone of screws in the RT platform? clones are limited to Timed loops only?

    I use LV 2013, cRIO-9022, chassis NI 9114

    Thank you

    Thibault

    Hello

I got it, it was similar to what you do on a normal LabVIEW VI. I expect a change in the name of VI in CloneXXXX.vi, but in real time, I think that you do not have this indication.

As he had no name and when I try to open the instances of these real-time clone live all were directed to the real VI itself, so I thought that it did not work.

but I think that it how it is in real time.

I did a test using the simple addition of numbers using clones and it works very well.

If you do not get the clone of instance names when you open the front door and we cannot highlight the real-time performance clone VI

    I think it's obvious.

  • Mismatch in number of brother COD files

I'm developing an application of BB. Because my application size is more than 64 k, compiler generates a zipped file of COD. When I check the JAD file it has reference to 8 records of COD brother named in the order as "MyApp.COD", "MyApp - 1.COD '... "MyApp - 7.COD. "But using WinZip if I extract the zip COD file then I could see only 7 brother COD files named in the order as MyApp.COD", "MyApp - 1.COD '... "MyApp - 6.COD. At the same time for another test application, we found the County in the JAD file and extract the files of brother COD to be identical. Could someone please help me understand why this is so?

    Thank you

    Abees

If your app * never * needed 8 files and you reduced to 7, the JAD will always reference this 8th file until it is deleted and recreated.

A good practice, you should remove the JAD file before making your production build.

  • Files JDE generating several COD

All of a sudden the JDE generates a COD that line when renamed. ZIP can be extracted in several files of COD...

I was not able to properly install my application via OTA or Desktop Manager. I tried to leave such original COD file, I tried to extract the COD file, I have reviewed the JAD file and everything seems OK. The result was generated 100% by the JDE (I use v4.5).

Why the JDE arouses my COD file this way and how I am doing on the deployment of it?

I have added a few additional images for my project in the same way that I was going to a file of code... should I create resource files to store these images instead?

    Thank you

    Greg Smith

case of theIn cod of the result file is larger than 64 KB, it will be divided many (so-called 'sibling') files of cod and encapsulated in a single file of large cod, what format is the format of the zip file.

If you want to install this desktop application, you don't need to unzip the files of cod brother.

Just use your signed file of cod and alx with BB Desktop Software file.

If you want to install your application via OTA, rename your cod to zip file, extract all the content and delete the zip file.

Place all files in cod brother and jad file in a folder.

Make sure that you have set correct MIME types.

    JAD: text/vnd.sun.j2me.app-descriptor
    COD: application/vnd.rim.cod

You can add image files to your project and compile them with your code in the cod file.

  • How is the SHA hash for a generated module?

    Hello

I was wondering if someone had more information about the CodeModuleManager.getModuleHash () method?  The API says:

"Returns the algorithm SHA hash in a module."

I've used it before and it gives me what looks like a SHA1 hash.  The only problem is, I'm not able to reproduce this hash by generating a SHA or SHA1 hash using my computer.

    For example:

If the BlackBerry gives me 02A826682116ED6A7B9B4429CAAFD2DF198A29F7 for the net_rim_app_manager module, running the same .cod file does not provide me with a corresponding number:

    azazel:tmp sheran$ openssl sha net_rim_app_manager.cod SHA(net_rim_app_manager.cod)= 03804aa899166d0eed95ddf3a758446c2159ee4b

    azazel:tmp sheran$ openssl sha1 net_rim_app_manager.cod SHA1(net_rim_app_manager.cod)= 7feebefdad9a39d98c70d0282cca935fd2dc55fe

    My questions:

    1. How did this hash generated for a specific module?

    2. how the calculation would be different for a module with many brothers and sisters?

    Thank you

    Sheran

The tail of each signed module is a list of signatures. When you calculate the SHA-1 hash, you must exclude this part of the binary file to hash.

When a module is composed of several modules, it is in fact a ZIP file. Each ZIP entry that contains a module (brother) has its own hash and signatures. Easiest way to test this is to decompress the. COD file and calculate the values of the hash for each file.

  • COD file brother is not downloaded to the phone.

I have a simple application jad/cod, I want available to the phone via the bb browser. It is composed of the main application module and a library. He uses very well, until what app main file grew in size htat is divided by copiler it in 2 cod brother files packaged as a COD. In this hand I get 907 + HTTP500 when I try to download the application. I read http://www.blackberry.com/knowledgecenterpublic/livelink.exe/fetch/2000/348583/800708/800646/What_Is... and I tried to unziipping the cod (like some opther suggested threads) and he downloaded and reported installation OK but that when lauching the app it says that the second part is misssing. Modify manually the jad file does not help. Please someone advise!

Yes, you're right. The problem is in the deployment of server software - it took generated jad of the app and library files and put them merged into a jad file. And he completely ignored the part of the sibling... Thank God it is resolved! Thanks for the help too!

When you compile your project in JDE there is a big cod generated file.

    Remove this zip file.

You have now all the files of cod brothers together.

  • Files generated during compilation

There are a bunch of files that are generated during compilation of an application.  What do these files and what are they for (I'm a noob)?

. COD - I guess that's the application?  Even if it seems to be a ZIP file.

.jar - I don't understand the purpose of this file?  What is the purpose of this file, if we already have the .cod file?

. CSO - what is it?

.jad - I guess that it is a manifesto of a certain type?

. CAP - another show of a certain type?

    Any guidance would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

. COD - it's the application.  If it is a ZIP file, which means that you have a large application and it exceeded a limit of size of the code, in which case, the compiler packs individual cod in a single ZIP file for easier management.  Search the Forum by using the term brother for details

.jar - this is the standard version of java of the compiled application.  So cod files are RIM reconditioning it.  Can you recreated your COD form this.  In addition, for applications 'Library' that are used by other applications, you can 'import' of these and thus reuse the same library.

. CSO and others.  Used by the signing tool to determine what signatures you need to get

.jad - this is the file that you use for the installation of Over The Air (OTA)

. CAP - never looked at that file, believing it is the form of the output of the compiler CAP, which is used for the compilations,

You can find more information on the latter in the developer's Guide.

  • Missing R12.1.3 directory appsutil/clone

EBS R12.1.3 running on Linux RH (no CARS).

Two levels of configuration with DB on server 1 and CCM, admin, forms, etc. on a 2nd Server.

I'm about to change server and domain name and don't speak Doc-ID 1277556.1

    1 DB level

What I noticed is that I'm missing in the subdirectory appsutil clone when he says to run adclonectx.pl.

Now, I just recently upgraded this instance of 11.2.0.3 to 11.2.0.4 and if I compare to others

I see that they do not have the subdirectory clone so I wonder now what I as the cases step I must have missed.

    I have:

-Run 'perl $AD_TOP/bin/admkappsutil.pl' on my app level

-copied the appsutil.zip of the $ORACLE_HOME of file he created at my level of db

    -Unzip o appsutil.zip

    -run perl adbldxml.pl

    - and run perl adconfig.pl

So I don't see that generates scripts, install, subdirectories outside and temporary but no clone folder.

It looks like I can just as easily to edit my file of context, but I was wondering why this would be?

I searched for a few other posts like this, but nothing seems to match.

    Update:

Looks like I just need to run 'perl adpreclone.pl dbTier?

I got it from [603883.1 ID], which is similar, but are talking about adding an alias host name.

    Hello

You must run the script before clone on the new House.

    CD $ORACLE_HOME/appsutil/scripts /.

    Perl adpreclone.pl dbTier

You may also need to run the applications pane if you have not done recently:

    CD /admin/scripts /.

    Perl adpreclone.pl appsTier

  • How to stop clones database e-mail subscriptions?

Our client clone their database of production in several instances off-production on a daily basis.  When they email subscription interactive report, they continue to be sent from clones.  This is understandable, since this is how APEX IR e-mail subscriptions should technically work after a cloning operation.  But it is not reasonable to the customer point of view.

The process that verifies active subscriptions is ORACLE_APEX_WS_NOTIFICATIONS, which checks the WWV_FLOW_WORKSHEET_NOTIFY table.

We have some ideas for a process, the customer can run after the database is cloned and for an application-level solution.

Are there mechanisms in APEX to disable subscriptions generated on a database instance that is not the current instance of the database?

    Any suggestions?

    Skip

    Hi Skip,

I do not function to disable subscriptions IR if it does not work on the same instance where the IR subscription was created.

I see a few ways that you could block it, which could be film script:

    1. You can disable the work of database ORACLE_APEX_WS_NOTIFICATIONS, which will stop the subscription emails.  This could be done using SYS. DBMS_SCHEDULER. STOP_JOB.
    2. You can disable the ORACLE_APEX_MAIL_QUEUE database job that disables all mail for database work.  This could be done using SYS. DBMS_SCHEDULER. STOP_JOB.
    3. You can set the outgoing SMTP server a fictitious server name (foobar), therefore the thrust of the messaging queue fails.  This could be done using APEX_INSTANCE_ADMIN. SET_PARAMETER.

#1 or #2 are obviously preferred.

    I hope this helps.
