Gif animated in the Captivate movie?

I'm trying to insert a gif animated in a Captivate movie, but when I do, the gif anime not - it shows just the first image. Y at - there a trick to getting these animated gifs to actually play in the Captivate movie, without having to do a "recreate gross" the GIF in Flash? I have looked around a framework within the app to this address, but could not find, and according to my research of archives, no one else has asked this question.

Thanks in advance!
Maureen

Maureen,

Do not forget that you insert the gif as an Animation and not as an image file.

On the Insert menu, select the Animation.
Navigate to your desired animated gif
Press OK

Captivate will convert the animated gif in a SWF for you so that it will play.

Hope that helps.

    It will automatically open with layers

  • How to change the Captivate movie

    I have a film Captivate consisting of 1 single slide and an animated film. I don't see any way to edit the movie or export it in a format that can be changed. I need to take a few seconds on the front and back of this film.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello

    What do you mean by "an animated film? It's an imported Flash animation, it's a done in Captivate full motion recording? If it's a FMR, you can adjust it in Captivate. How depends on the version of Cp you use. If it's the CP5, select the slide with the TMF (is visible on the timeline as a horizontal bar red) and you will see the edit FMR accordion. If it's an animation created in another application, you need to adjust it.

  • How can I control the gif animations?

    I have a project where I need some animations. The animations, that all have been created in After Effects. Now I can use png sequences, but these are very big and I need much the animations running on the same time. So I prefer to use gif animations. So my question: I can control when to play the animated gif but I can't play more than once. Is there a solution?

    Thanks for responding!

    Jannis

    Hello

    I see... you control when it displays. Technically, this is not the same thing that control the animated GIF; you just control when you see it. EA only recognizes GIF as image format and can not make the browser plays from the beginning as the first time that it is displayed or when it performs a back loop (if your animated looping GIF).

    However, you could do something similar with an additional image file or two, jQuery and css background-image "load" the GIF file into a transparent image. Here is a link to an example that always runs the GIF animated from the beginning:

    https://creative.Adobe.com/share/52f15194-875B-4604-8857-9b9bf5f78e04

    A single line of code that does the work is in the playBtn click handler.

  • Help to create a gif animated for a navigation bar!

    Hey guys, I'm very new to Fireworks and dreamweave and I encounter a problem that makes my head spin! I need to create a simple animated .gif to a navigation bar (which will be published in dreamweaver). The navigation bar are as follows: http://www.eden.rutgers.edu/~baronson/ITI320/Exercise2/functionality.html. Essentially, all that happens is I create this animated picture and in dreamweaver, when I create the navigation bar of AP, I updated the mouseover this image. My problem is that, compared to the image mouseover of the website ( http://www.eden.rutgers.edu/~baronson/ITI320/Exercise2/images/navi/audience_OVER.gif ) animated my gif has several layers and States, where, as its only has a single layer. I can't seem to find a way to include both text and gif image and incorporate them into the same layer.

    A follow-up to the issue after finding the way to integrate them both in the same State, I should catch every piece of my animated gif for the individual State, that I want it be applied?

    Any help/pointer to where the information would be greatly appreciated. I have read through the manuals and watched a lot of videos of Babbage, but were not able to understand this. Thank you!

    Your gif didn't need to have several layers, but he needs to have several States. To save you a lot of confusion, first create animated gifs, and then export them. Create your navigation bar in the usual way, with simple images, rolloveres or swap. The navigation bar on export. Rename the gifs animated with the names of most of the State of the navigation bar images and then remove (or mone to another folder) more images of the State navigation bar. Move the gif animations in the navigation bar image file. Preview in the browser. The animated gifs should have replaced the original state of the buttons.

  • SWF in a Captivate movie

    My boss asks me to insert a .wmv movie into a Captivate movie. I found Digital Media Converter (using the demo version for the moment) to convert the .wmv to .avi. When I finished to convert, I then try to put the .avi in the Captivate movie. I get a message that Captivate is the .swf conversion. When the file is finally inserted, he does not like in the movie .wmv or .avi. In Captivate, it is very jagged, risk and quite poor in quality. My boss has his heart on put the .wmv in my Captivate movie. I tried Insert\Animation, Insert\Animation drag, import movie. Someone at - it any other suggestions to convert the .wmv file or get better results from the .avi? We have Captivate 1.0.1.1418. Thank you, Judy, author of the Menusoft Solutions technology.

    Do you have Flash? I had a similar project with the help of a .wmv in Captivate. First of all, I imported the video file in Flash MX 2004, then exported out as a .swf. (Remember to export it out of Flash as an earlier version of Flash file... I think I used Flash 5, because Captivate throws an error message if you try to import the Flash 7 format...)

    Then I imported the .swf in Captivate. The process worked great... the video maintained its video and audio quality. The other advantage of conversion the .wmv to a .swf was file size savings. My video of about five minutes went more than 30 MB in format .wmv to slightly more than 13 MB in Flash format!

  • GIF animated signature mail (mac vs PC)

    I made a signature with an animated gif. It works fine in mac to mac. But the PC can't see it. I actually put the gif online and linked to it in my email signature, so that could be the problem. But the advantage of this is that the mail does not seem to have an attachment. I'd love to make it work on the PC too. Any suggestions?

    (El Capitan, Apple Mail)

    How email is displayed depends on how the recipient has configured his email client. If you send me the email containing the gif animated in the signature I would not see it no more. Several mail users configure their e-mail client to not display images, because images can contain a web tracking bugs/tags.

            HorizontalFieldManager containerLabel = new HorizontalFieldManager(FIELD_HCENTER);
            containerSpin.add(_image);
            containerLabel.add(label);

            containerSpin.setPadding(Display.getHeight()>>2, 0, 0, 0);

            this.add(containerSpin);
            this.add(containerLabel);

            KasualApplication.isLoading = true;
        }
    }

    The problem is that the gif is not animated, while the action runs. But if I have a popup appears at the end of the action to let the loading screen, I see that the gif is animated. As well as the animation starts when the action is complete.

    I think something is wrong in the clock of my son, but I don't see that.

  • Paste a gif animated in an email

    Hi all
    I just upgraded from Home Premium to Ultimate.
    Before the upgrade, I could paste a gif animated at the end of my text. I'm not able to do this any longer, it appears as a small blue box which will not be activated.
    I have an e-mail account with Yahoo, and it still works with Yahoo mail.
    I would be grateful to learn the method to allow this in my Hotmail program.
    Thanks for any input.

    Hello Colinito,

    I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but I should be able to help with this.
    When sending Email through Hotmail instead of copying and pasting the image at the end of the email click the icon 'Paper click' and add the photo as an attachment.

    Receiving the recipient will be able to view the animation as usual.

    I hope I could help today and this has answered your question. If you have more questions or problems please reply back and I'll be more then happy to assist you with them.

  • How to export to gif animated without loss of quality bitmap image

    Hello

    I'm having a devil of a time to export from a fla file, I created a backup gif banner. Seemed easy enough to select export > gif animated, but the quality of

    the small image is terrible, and the size of the file has quadrupled. Any help?

    Which doesn't look too bad considering that you create a gif file.  Do you realize that the gif images can contain only 256 colors?  You need to check the number of colors, use your images before they were converted - probably thousands and thousands.  You could try to create images like gifs first and see if that helps, although it is possible that you get an immediate loss of the quality of the image.

    Windows Movie Maker - issue animation.

    (J'ai créé un diaporama à l'aide de Windows Movie Maker et ont utilisé l'installation d'animation désignée comme «Journal», dont associé commente état ' Spins et deles de zooms en overlay) ". I'm interested to know if it is possible to import an image from the computer, in the rectangular segment positioned centrally in the composition of the journal. The rectangular segment would then later become the image full-screen during the last part of the timeline that implies that it would be possible to import an image that would fill then on the screen to create a focus point at this stage. I would like to know how to import such an image - if possible, please.

    I've created a show of 'Film' using Windows Movie Maker and have used the "Diary" movie clip I would like to know if it is possible to insert or otherwise import a picture or a photograph in the rectangle that is located approximately in the Center, so that once the movie clip's headed toward the Viewer, the image or photo and then 'zoom in' to fill the frame.
