I have installed Google Earth on my old desktop computer running Windows XP Professional. After finishing, I open it, displays the first message, Google earth is not supported graphics card in my computer when I check do not show this message again and the second message appears, "DirectX" mode not supported.
It gives 4 suggestions for correction:
(1) set to "True color" (32 bit) color depth in display properties
(2) start Google Earth after waiting a minute
(3) close the other applications (especially if they use 3D)
(4) download and install DirectX 9.0 c or higher by following the link
Here is what happened:
(1) I already had the "True Color" (32 bit) value
(2) tried starting after a minute - same as before
(3) no other application was open
(4) downloaded DirectX according to the instructions
I always get the same error message. I found Googling it might be a problem with the graphics card drivers. I think the graphics card is a 8586 Intel graphics (I hope I got this right!).
It also makes no difference to the opening of Google Earth, however.
Does anyone have any suggestions? In any case, I try to use the latest version of Google earth, but cannot use it and when I try to installed later in my desktop computer, run windows 7, it works fine.I tried to download the previous version of google earth, version 6.2, I can install and use it very well. It's that I would ask that this problem seems to be caused by windows, hardwars or Google earth?
You can re - install DirectX and then check.

I just upgraded my Dell Inspiron One 2330 (touch screen with AMD HD7650A) of Windows 8 to 8.1 Windows. I also downloaded from Dell Download Center and installed new drivers for Windows 8.1. However, for some reason, Google Earth (7.1) crashes whenever I try to open it. A message appears and says that DirectX does not, while he leaves the program. I checked everything, including Directx and found no flaws on software or hardware. It seems that Google Earth has problems with the screen resolution? Should I reload Directx? Can someone give me a hand? Thanks in advance!
After installation and test different versions of AMD/Dell video drivers and the Goodle Earth, the problem was finally. It's a problem of compatibility of Windows DirectX 8.1 with Google Earth. In the last test, I started 8.1 Windows through "Safe Mode" and then on the GE (Version 7.1). The GE started nicely and also acknowledged the HD display that never happened with Windows before 8. I was able to change the "Graphics Mode" in "Views" of "DirectX" to "OpenGL" and restarted Windows 8.1 normally. The GE has worked well since.
A recent update to google earth means now that it does not load on my Apple Mac (OS El Capitan version 10.11.6). Ideas for something simple as this seems to be a big problem to read the support section.
I tried to go back to older versions of the Earth, which worked well, but cannot get them to load up to now either.
Think its something to do with the option to connect to the Earth, but it crashes before I even get to do and creates a massive error report.
Thank you very much
Not sure what you mean by 'recent '. Just looked at today and it is the same version from 20/05/2015. Works for me on OSX 10.11.6.
For some reason any Google Earth has stopped working in Firefox, and I get a note that I have to download the plug-in. (It works fine in Chrome and Safari).
I followed the 'solution' in the forum without success.
When I search "Google Earth Browser plugin" in the Finder, I find SEVEN matching this search under 'Type' in Macintosh HD/Library/Internet Plugins... .but this 'genre' is associated with the plugins that are "Named" something else - for example, Adobe, DivX, Flash, Flip4Mac, etc. (weird).

Google earth came with the new Windows 7 Premium, but "disappeared from the office. Downloaded and tried to re - install unsuccessfully
Check in C:\Program Files (x 86) \Google\Googleearth\client to Googleearth.exe
for 64-bit Windows or
C:\Program Files\Google\Googleearth\client to Googleearth.exe
for 32-bit Windows
If it is there, right click on Googleearth.exe and select send to and create a shortcut on the desktop.
Since the download and installation of maOS Sierra I find Google Earth does not work?
see the following topics
If the software is still not compatible, you must communicate with development of google and see if they plan to release a new version. Or if you have a Time Machine backup, you can restore your system to a point where the operating system and this app worked together. Past that Apple has no googles software and does not patch their OS to accommodate other developers especially when OS X 10.12 was available to google for months to make these changes.
Original title: Google earth does not work on my computer, it gives a message to download directx, this happped when switching to the latest version. He used to work

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Communities. According to the description of the problem, you are not able to access the Google earth application. Provide the following information:

Follow these methods.
Method 1: Uninstall and reinstall the application.
Method 2: Perform a clean bootto see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow the steps to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state section of the article to start the computer to a Normal startupmode.

After the closure of Google Earth could not reopen unless I have re-boot
the problem occurs in GE GL and DX modes?
Once that his apparently closed, if you look in the (all users) Task Manager processes, Google Earth still appears at all?
Original title: Google Earth will not be installed.
Installing Google Earth through the installation process and indicates that it is installed, but it is not available in my program. In addition to a Toshiba program "Home Page" appears on the screen when he says it's installed, however the screen has no connection with Google Earth? I tried several times with the same result.
1 Windows operating system is installed on the computer?
2. what browser you use on the computer?
3. how you try to install Google Earth?
I suggest to download the package manually, save it on the desktop and then install it in high mode.

If you're still having problems, I suggest you to send your query in Google Forum.
I can't Google earth to work after downloading Google earth, when I try to use it I get a message that Google Earth has stopped working. Is there a way to tell if my graphics card works or if I need a new graphics card?
As far as I know, these are the requirements for Google Earth - https://support.google.com/earth/answer/20701?hl=en. Make sure that your PC and graphics are satisfied, and that your graphics card drivers are up to date with the latest version of your PC manufacturer supports the web site.
- Https://support.google.com/earth/answer/176180?hl=en may be useful. Try what he refers to as switching between DirectX and OpenGL to see if that helps etc..
Is there any (exact) error message and the error code given? There are clues that are recorded in the Event Viewer log? (look in "Local event viewer" - "summary of administrative events' - 'Criticism' or 'Mistakes' for any reference to the time and date of the accident).
Is there a fix for Google search does not work after the iOS 3.2.1 on iPhone 5 s
Looks like you may have some problems with the links on your iPhone. This problem has been resolved by an update to iOS software 9, the 9.3.1 update:
Hope that helps. If you still see issues after updating your software, could you provide more information on the issue?

I closed the lid on my Macbook Pro late 2013 to put to sleep and awoke to find Google Earth and my camera running. The only apps I leave but no open Windows Mail and Chrome. I saved my system log to a text file, but can not find to search. I didn't save all newspapers. Never had this happen before. Could I have malware? There is a lot of activity in the mode 'sleep'! I don't know if this is the best place to post - perhaps under El Capitan would have been better.

Check that your ... System Preferences > energy saver > annex > start or reactivate setting is off (no indicator check.)
Also check the box wake for network access is not marked.
Finally, make sure that the lock in this window is closed to avoid changes until you provide your administrator name and password.
Do these three things should prevent anything using your Mac, until I YOU wake up from its sleep.

If the problem persists even if your System... Preferences are configured correctly, it is possible.
You can check for malware using Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac.
