  You can try to log in to your old account and then sign in with the ID again.  Your applications will be always related to the original account - you must use the old account to update.

  I found the problem. I opened 'File' then saw 'save as template' grayed. Having not worked with models, I didn't know this isn't how it's done.

  What I should have done was file > save as > then clicked the drop-down 'Save as template' menu option. It was a simple mistake. Thanks to you all.

  Hi, thanks for the response. I have a keyboard and shortcuts will turn off. I'm not 100% sure, but I think I did run by pressing Windows key + LeftShift. I did a few tests now and there is something to deal with the Windows key + Fn (dell laptop). After pressing that firefox combinations see keyboard. WinKey + LeftShift operate again. Thanks anyway!

• Acrobat Pro X 11 does not open on the Mavericks 10.9.5

  Just upgraded to Acrobat Pro 10 11.0.9 and now when I run the application Acrobat, the splash screen appears for a few seconds, then disappears. There is no error in the console or messages.

  My initial Setup was with still installed v10. After this failed I uninstalled the v10 and v11 and did it again. The same problem.

  Yet once uninstalled and removed Acrobat preferences. Reinstalled v11. The same problem.

  Everyone knows about this problem? Nuts that you can't contact Adobe directly after $200 on software that does not work!

  Hi, I hope you can help me... My missing desktop icons with hotbar after a reboot, but the text is there and programs can still be opened. Thus, my Dowes does not open. Any idea how this can be?   One of my users has a Dell laptop, running Windows 7 Pro (32 bit), Office 2010, and has installed the Adobe Reader X. For two weeks, it can not open anything in 9 standard. Standard does not yet work. You can open the Task Manager, run Adobe 9 and the acrobat.exe process runs for a few seconds, then disappears.

  He is still able to print PDF files, but when they have finished printing, open them in drive X.

  We tried the uninstall/reinstall, delete key/temp items registry. Nothing seems to help.

  Any ideas?

  Remove the following 2 files in this folder:

  1: wep.api

  2: webcheck.hlp

  These aren't the standard Acrobat plugins. Remove them and try to launch Acrobat again.

  Thanks for the explanation. I actually have to install Acrobat and it now works. I downloaded and installed Adobe Reader XI (I think, http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/mac/11.x/11.0.02/en_US/AdbeRdr11002_en_US.dmg ) and opened the program. I noticed that after I opened the new drive, my Adobe Reader 9 program began to work. After that, I tried to open Acrobat and instead of getting the error 6 message that I had before, I had an error on a question of license that would require me to uninstall and reinstall the software. Once I did these steps my Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro started working! Don't know why my program, but it is fully functional again. I hope it helps someone else, I have why I came to answer.
