  I don't understand why Skype will not uninstall from Add/Remove unless you actually upgraded from messenger. However, this is purely speculation on my part as I have not personally tried to uninstall Skype me. Have you also tried to uninstall in safe mode? Keep pressing the F8 key as your PC starts and then, when a menu appears, select Safe Mode.

  Uninstall the current version of Skype, and then reinstall the new beta version of Skype 5.7. See if it helps.

  Please reset a Skype:

  1. make sure that "Show the hidden files and folders" is turned on.

  Click Start, click Run Type "control folders" and click OK. On the display tab, make sure that the hidden files and folders is selected

  2. exit Skype: from the system tray > right click on Skype icon and click "exit Skype.

  3. click on start > run Type: rename file %APPDATA%\microsoft\windows\sendto "Skype" to "Old_Skype".

  4 re - run Skype

  Check if the problem persists.

  If the restoration of the point system is not there next steps to try to fix this would be to try running SFC/scannow in command prompt. This KB http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310747 explains in detail.

  I'm not what you mean... Start by describing what tools or methods that you use to extract these pages.

  What you write in the first sentence is not true, however. In the dialogue window extract Pages, you can choose whether or not to delete the extracted pages of the original file and extract them as individual pages or not. If you UN-select both options, you will get a single file that contains the pages you have checked out, and they will not be deleted from the original file.

  If you are not able to open the Photos App images directly in Photoshop then, this is the expected behavior as App Photos does not allow for any third-party application interact with it directly.

  You must export images from the Photos App and then open in Photoshop.

  Please try and delete preview Cache.

  It is located in the same folder as the catalog in Lightroom. The name of the cache an extract ends with Previews.LRDATA and should be deleted. Not to be confused with *. LRCAT, which should not be deleted
