  Do you really need a second title for the page in the main menu and the selection of scene or you page fixed for your Adobe title in more than one line?

  Workaround for the title with more than one line of text can backfire on you. But you can try. Excerpt from my first items 13 on this blog

  Although it is a sad testament to my programming skills, I'm little embarrassed because I'm only doing this sort of thing maybe once every two or three years.  I am using FormCalc (mainly b/c I'm still learning Javascript and this form had already been written in FormCalc).

  Here's the problem:

  I have three text fields (Textfield1, Textfield2, Textfield3).

  I created three variables (var1, var2, var3) and initialized to 0.

  To determine how many fields containing data, I used the if/then/else statements:

  If (Textfield1.rawValue == "") then

  var1 = 0

  on the other

  var1 = 1

  endif

  Textfield2 and Textfield3 have similar statements (respectively using var3 and var2 variables).

  To test the code, I have a message box returns the sum of var1 + var2 and var3.  With NOTHING entered into all fields of text, I expect him back a sum of 0, but it returns the sum of 3!  If I enter data in only one or two of the fields, yet once it returns a value of 3.

  I tried the initialization of the value of the Textfields (Textfield1.rawValue = ""), but I always get a value of 3.

  This is probably a simple programming error, but still, I'm not a developer.  Any help would be appreciated.

  Then the tab of the field properties dialog box Format, select a format special cyategory > arbitrary mask and enter the field that appears beneath a single capital "O". Optionally, set the limit of characters for 1 on the Options tab, so that the user does not receive the error message when you try to type more characters.

  I use Livecycle Designer to a dynamic form.  I have a section of the form that contains the field for the user to enter the goals, and then note the purpose.  I want to count only the text fields with entries and have the total number of rates, divided by the number of entries in text field.

  Line 1, column 1 - goal is to collect 5 apples.   Line 1, column 2 - the given rate is 5

  Row 2, column 1 - goal is to collect 5 pears.  Line 1, column 2 - the given rate is 5

  Two goals for a total power of 10-10 divided by 2 = 5

  Is it possible to count only the fields that are populated?

  Also, is it possible to create an error message if the user scored 5 goals but rated only 4 of them?

I need different recordsets on pages based on this template. f I try to add a recordset to test3.asp, I am told "this change will cose alter which is locked by a model or a translator" - so I can't add the recordsets (though Interestingly, you can see that I managed to somehow add both recordsets immediately before he started saying this.)

  When I send my PDF page, if it is open in a different default viewer ('Preview', etc..) it opens to the right size, (it is designed to open the full screen mode and is not in "Preview"), and the hyperlinks do not work and are cold.  Is this because of people with operating systems more ancient or old versions of applications? or something else?

  Can I somehow treat the pdf on my end until I have email to ensure that the pdf file is opened in Acrobat and bed and run correctly?

  I know that I can include a note in the body of the email asking to be open in Acrobat, but I want to 'take the moving parts', so to speak, because you can not always count on people to cooperate; (we all know how easy button it is just hit the 'delete'.).

  Please, someone tell me there is a way around it and a procedure that will ensure that one opened up like a document acrobat pdf default (help!).

  You really can't prevent opening in preview. There was a post recently (in the region of forms I think) on the writing of certain information to provide information in preview, I recall. You must specify in your message that the PDF file must be opened in Acrobat or Reader and that the use of the preview can create an unacceptable presentation.
