How can I change the view of the opening of the PDF file

When I open a PDF file, it is always full width of screen and very big, more than 250%.    I would like to open a full page

I know how subsequently change the size on the screen but have not been able to find any type of default settings box that would allow me to change the appearance of the initial screen. Y at - it a box of defaults somewhere?

I found that the answer is to use the edition/preferences. The toolbar (file/Edit/view/window/help) was not present in the screens, I was looking at which was the reason for which I could find no way to change things, fortunately it is available on the other screens of adobe so I can change things there and the changes apply as well in the screens where I had the problem.

So my problem is now solved

I need all the information to display so I need the scroll key to work, but it is not editable.

    Thanks for the help!

You can define a field with strike and validate to prevent the user from changing the value of the field. First, set the field to multiline and 'Scroll long text' and the default value for the text to display in the field. Then add a custom script to strike which is:

    Custom keystroke script

    Event.RC = false;

and to be complete, the validation script customized according to:

    Custom validation script

    If (event.value! == event.target.defaultValue) event.rc = false;

These scripts will prevent the value to be changed, at least in Acrobat and Reader if JavaScript is enabled.

  • How can I change the default file save type

I saw this issue everywhere in the web, but none of the answers I found to apply to my version of Photoshop (CS5).

I want to change the file type by default when I save files.  I don't want to PSD or PDF, I want PNG.

I want to hit CTRL + SHIFT + S as usual, but I don't want to select PNG in the drop down menu below, when I on behalf of my articles.

I don't want to create an action for each file, that I work with - I want it to be a change of default setting on all of photoshop on each file.

Any help?  Adobe has been zero support.

I already tried the 'Actions' method - which is glitchy in and of itself!

What I do is very simple - I'm doing slideshows.  I create a new file that is 1920 x 1280 (the size of my screen) and I have to open 100 + images.  I have copy and paste each image in the file 1920 x 1280, so that all images even show up on my screen when I run the slides.  I have re-size and adjust the position of each image, so it appears the way I want to.

So I copy and paste my first image in the Web of 1920 x 1280 and then press F2 (the button I have applied to save it as a PNG action to).  It saves the file.  Then I copy and paste another picture in the file and press F2.  Rather than creating a new file (or a copy) Photoshop writes on the last file I made.  YAY!  More lost time!

It blows my mind that a function as simple as 'Change default file Type' is missing in a too expensive, accredited program.  How their software engineers can ignore something that hundreds of other people (like me) have displayed a need for online?  Something so simple?  Andy why does my work now learn how to make scripts for Photoshop add a feature that should be standard?  Is - which is why I pay $50 a month for this software or why I bought CS5 outright for over $ 1000?

That's what I'm trying to do--make a slideshow where each image is exactly the same size.  It seems that the only option given to me by adobe is "LOSS MORE OF YOUR TIME.

  • How can I change the default file under XP sort criteria?

Currently, all files are sorted by size and I want them sort by name. I don't want to change the sort order in each file individually.   The must be a way to gobally change the criterion of sorting in XP Pro 32 bit SP3

  • How can I change the way files are displayed in a library?

The foregoing is organized by folders, grouped by file Type and sort by name.  This is my favorite.  Note how clearly and Excel 2010 files are classified under the category "Microsoft Excel Worksheet" but all others, circled in red, are listed under their extensions.

This was not always the case.  How can I get Word documents to sort under category headings that represent the program and not the extensions (Microsoft Word Document, etc.)?

It is precious, because that would create the columns to use in a manner where the records would come before the others documents.

I hope this makes sense.  Thank you!

This means that the file (.doc or .xls) extension has an association that is missing the friendly name of the file type.

Normally, if you right click on a type .xyz file and choose 'Open with', you will be asked to type a name for this kind of file.  It's the same friendly name that is missing in your above.

Repair your Office installation should resolve fairly quickly.  Open Control Panel, go to programs, find the office and then choose repair.

  • How can I change the default file locations in the dialog box "Save as" in Windows 7 x 64?

I tried all the tips and tricks of WinXP, but they do not seem to work in Win7. Does anyone know how to change the location of the default files for the dialog box "Save as" in Win7?

It seems, in Windows 7, that you cannot change locations by default save as file.

In XP, we could modify the registry or use other methods to change the location of the files that appear on the left margin of the Save as dialog box. But some Morón in Redmond chose to end with good sense and called "libraries."

I really wish Microsoft would stop doing what they think, it's the best for Grandma and little Suzy and give us what expect when we pay for these programs.

  • How can I change the NTFS file system to say fat so my TV will read the HD Ext USB files? Thank you

    Hi Norman,

After you convert a partition to NTFS (New Technology File System), you can not convert back. If you want to use the FAT (File Allocation table) file system on the partition again, you will need to reformat the partition, and this will erase all data on it.

Click on the link mentioned below as reference.

    jQuery UI is extremely complex.

I do not recommend to play with the code.

    You're going to break.

If you want to customize jQuery Widgets, use theme roller to create your own CSS themes.

    http://jQueryUI.com/themeroller/

Download custom theme files and then save them in your local site folder.

If you rename one of the .nco in .zip files you unzip it?
(to experiment it would be better if you make copies)
