  I resorted to brute force method, by removing all Tbird files, that I could find, then files and then all refenrences of Tbird in the registry, I downloaded Revo Uninstaller, but have not yet used.

  Windows XP, or no media, no longer sold by Microsoft.  You can find copies - usually of the OEM versions - on various websites, including Amazon and Google.  Prices are not realistic, but it's a sellers market.   Caveat emptor.

  FYI, you don't need to limit yourself to XP with service pack 3.  If you buy the CD with service pack 1 or service pack 2, you can download SP3 from Microsoft (free) and create the slipstreamed CD.  If you buy "upgrade" editions, you will need a real installation CD for a qualifying product.

  I have 7 boxes of ESXi, I'll put up and I use a Dell computer optimized ESXi CD to install it. I have run the host update utility and their answer key, but so far I have not license them when trying to obtain licenses that I see only options for 4.1 licenses. Where go to these "legacy" licesnes to?
