  I use the freeware GIMP.

  You open the PDF with it and select the page that contains the image.

  Select the area of the image, copy it to the Clipboard.

  Then file, create the Clipboard.

  Do any rig you need and then save in jpg format.

  With the pack PDF you cannot directly change your file first you must convert in word or excel, then you can do it.
