• buttons radio and the presence of the text field

  New on LC and JavaScript and tries to show/hide a text field on radio button (outside the Group), select by using the presence property. Two buttons in the exclusion group (I'll call them 1 and 2), by default the text field presence should be hidden (not displayed and not take place on the layout).  I have set the default value for the '2' radio button group and want the text field to display (and have the focus, but I got this little) when the value changes to '1' to the click, then disable and hide again if you click on '2 '.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  You can use this script to the click event of the exclusion group:

  Who should do it, because rb1 has value 1, and rb2 has a value of 2. RBL is exclusion group.

  You have a good reason to want to use Courier New instead of the built-in Courier font? In all cases, you must change one line to:

  Hi all!

  First time poster and getting quite frustrated trying to understand this issue. Here's the scenario: I use Acrobat Pro 10 to create what is essentially a form of giant order. I have designed the document in InDesign, defined the various buttons and other whatnot and then it exported to Acrobat to continue the construction of the form.

  I have a radio button group called 'conference_opportunities' that contains different options at different prices, so they are all the same, but have different values (so that they belong to the same group and only one can be selected at a time).

  What I've done is created a 'MouseDown' event on the button that sets a variable called 'ConferenceOpportunity', which is equivalent to the title of the option they pick. Then, I want to take this variable and display in a text box called "Conference_Option". I use a variable because my radio buttons values are actual prices of the option they pick, so I can't set the value as the title of the option.

  If its an array of boxes and option at the bottom of the page, there is the Option that they selected, the quantity (which can change) and value (in dollars)

  I also then want to display this variable at the end of the document as a kind of summary of what they have chosen to buy as well, but I guess it's the same code.

  I'm not an expert at all Javascript, so code snippets would help greatly. I looked on the Document from Adobe on the SDK and API and have not been able to find a solution. I also turned to the Almighty google and still no luck.

  Right now, you have to do is use this variable to the value property of your text field... Then add this at the end of your code:

  this.getField("Conference_Option").value = ConferenceOpportunity;

  Also, I would use not MouseDown, MouseUp.

  Once more, I have a problem.

  I have a field in which the user must enter 10 digits in the model 999999-9999. The field should contain only numbers and must be exactly 10 characters. I have a validation script on the button "print", which prevent printing if required fields are empty or not properly filled out.

  I tried two ways of working this point, and I'm not satisfied with any of them, I can always print despite warning messages and validation scripts.

  1.

  I put the type numeric field, limited to 11 characters.

  Display model num {999999-9999}, change the model num {999999-9999} and validation model num {999999-9999}

  Problems using this solution: when I type 11 digits in the field (ex.12345612345) I get a warning message and 12.345.612

  But when I type 9 digts (e.g. 123456-123 or 123456123) I get no message warning and 000000-0000 or 012345-6123

  If I type alphabetic characters (e.g. 123456 abcd) I get no warning message and 000000-0000.

  2.

  I put the field in the text field, limited to 11 characters.

  The model text {999999-9999}, edit text model {999999-9999} and {999999-9999} model validation

  Now, when I type 11 digits in the field (ex.12345612345) I don't get any warning messages and 12345612345

  Regular expressions are useful for this type of validation. The code below tf1 is a text field with a maximum length of 12.

  I have a repeated line form that contains a button and several text fields.  There is a text field (input field) above with some information I want to place in the table and several buttons that I want to read the value of and defined on the table.  Excuse me there are several questions I have and I use pseudocode to describe.

  Glad you figured it out... nothing wrong with doing it this way.

  Normally XML contains data and no default legends these xml files are bouond to the rawValue property. You can enable the dynamic linking and other properties of the object will be bindable (they appear as links) in the user interface. If you click on the link to legend an Assistant appears allowing you to bind the node in the XML file.

  Currently, I use two different text fields to display because of different font size 10000.

  The 10 is a larger size font and 000 is a smaller font.  When I assign ' 0 ' for dynamic text from the smaller font fields I get just that '0' is not a "000" which is what I want. "

  Question:

  Is there an easy way to display zeros in a dynamic text field?  Or a dynamic text field can cause different character positions displayed in different font sizes?  or both?

  the only way you can view 'number' as you want, not the way that flash wants, is to use ropes.

  texteformatage is a response to another question, that you had on the display of the different font sizes in a textfield.

• Search and replace values in the text field before the values are stored in DB

  There is a question - answer and text box text field - in my application. Problem is, some of the answers are stored with the apostrophes to the DB and I have a problem while recovering in the DB. I need to replace the single quotes 1 with 2 apostrophes. The values are stored in the DB when you click on the submit button.

• How can I make a box autopopulate a text field

  I have 2 text fields named MailingAddress and GarageAddress.

  I would like to have a check box next to my MailingAddress the field when checked would be autopopulate my GarageAddress with the value of MailingAddress.

  I scrounged around forums and cobbled this together (with my very limited knowledge of JavaScript)... but get a syntax error.  I'm sure it's something obvious... If you understand JavaScript!

  You have syntax errors in your code. Also, it seems that the logic of your code is reversed. You copy the value of GarageAddress to MailingAddress, instead of what you have described. I suggest using this code (as the MouseUp event of the checkbox) instead:

  I guess my problem is that I work in a table and I want to insert empty lines and headlines and my attempts have failed so far. I don't know if I should convert to html format and change the page in this way. (hope not)

  IM using PrPro CS6. Im having problems with mutiple

  I made my entire video, there is no red didn't make bars but I have little green. Export it every time tube you model. I see 'ERROR COMPILATION VIDEO - UNKNOWN ERROR'.

  I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS PAST. PLEASE HELP ME OUT HERE

  SOULTION for those who are in the same situation:

  First update your software to the latest update.

  I think that you have more than one clip.

  Make sure that you do not have a gap of an image between the clips, these can be invisible until you zoom in as close
  

  At the end and at the beginning of the clip, you should have small gray triangle.

  They are called handles, which means an extra space at the end point and at the beginning. Usaually for the transition.

  If you don't see it on both clips (as in the picture above) then the clip which is misiing must be pruned little or more until the handles disappear or some time you see full triangle (as in the photo).

  Do the same if there's more.

  Then try to export the end where clips set to the other.

  The value in entry points and as I did in the image above.

  Export and make sure you choose the set sequence in and out.

  I hope this works. I use no more of this software. I had a version of the track. Used for two weeks. Every day same problem and finally figured it out and brought him back to Edius 6. Thank you

  I use the text control in the swf file. In this file, I want to display text up to 15 charaters and if more, then present them with [...]

  Please provide a solution for this.

  Here ya go to 15 characters maximum.

  This example uses textInputA as a box of textInput that someone can type in.  As a result, in the text/label component, it checks the length of the value of textInputA and if it is longer than 15 characters, it removes all characters beyond 15 and adds [...] at the end.

  You can substitute other things instead of a textInput control, but I used it here as it's the easiest way to explain.
