Hello

Ramya Latha says:

For a sequential:

Import oracle.apps.fnd.framework.server.OADBTransaction;

OADBTransaction tr = getOADBTransaction ();
ID = TR.getSequenceValue ("id_seq");

    How to get number of a character Page?

    Willi Adelberger wrote:

    Why do you do the contours? It should NEVER be done in InDesign!

    Hey Willi,

    the OP is trying to find a method to get the page name of a character given somewhere on a page or on a spread and use a VB-Script scripting method.

    The False parameter in the method indicates that the character will be duplicated on top of the character as an outline object.
    In the user interface you select a character and press and hold the ALT key when you use the menu command for this.

    Usually we take the object returned after obtaining the information of her by the script.

    But obviously something bad on the side of the OP, because InDesign crashes if this method is used on one of the sample characters. Usually a geometrical object on a page will return the page object as the value of his property in parentPage (ExtendScript).

    I'm not in VB-Script, so here's an excerpt from ExtendScript to get the name of the page in the text of a character block.

    Select a character and run the code snippet:

    // ExtendScript (JavaScript) snippet
    // One single character should be selected:

    var myCharacter = app.selection[0];
    var result = myCharacter.parentTextFrames[0].parentPage;

    if(result == null)
    {
        alert("Character's text frame is considered on the pasteboard")
    }
    else
    {
        alert("Character's text frame is considered on page: "+result.name)
    };

    Now, back to the createOutlines() method.

    It would fail on for example all white space characters and characters that represent a fixed page element.

    It would also fail if the character is in the overset text.

    createOutlines() would be to raise an error, but should not crash InDesign.

    Now go to the OP to the following questions:

    What is the character that you try to use the method with?

    Is there excess in text?

    What is your exact version of InDesign?
    What is the exact version of your Windows operating system?

    Kind regards

  • DVT:pivotFilterBar - how to get the selected values of the filter

    Hi all

    I have a question: how to get the selected values from the pivot table filter bar programmatically?

    I tried to use
    pivotTable.getDataModel().getDataAccess().getValueQDR(startRow, startCol, DataAccess.QDR_WITH_PAGE);
    but to the edge of the side DATA INCORRECTESdeclarations page, it seems that it will return the cached values.

    Environment: JDev 11.1.1.3.0 without tasks.

    Thank you
    Miroslaw

    Hello

    You can retrieve the value selected in the PivotFilterBar through the PivotFilterBar model, instead of dataaccess:

    Download the template of the bar pivot filter instance
    QueryDescriptior queryDescriptor = (QueryDescriptor) pivotFilterBar.getValue ();

    retrieve a list of criterion, each of them is used to fill each lov in the pivot filter bar
    ConjunctionCriterion conjunctionCriterion = queryDescriptor.getConjunctionCriterion ();
    List criterionList = conjunctionCriterion.getCriterionList ();
    for (int i = 0; i)<_criterionList.size(); i++)="">
    AttributeCriterion = (AttributeCriterion) criterionList.get (i) criterion.

    _selected is the currently selected value
    Selected object = criterion.getValues () .get (0);

    System.out.println (_selected);
    }

    Hope that helps,
    Chadwick

    take the value of the checkbox element and display it in the message.

    Hello
    Check your page now.

    As mentioned earlier, you must use APEX_ITEM. CHECKBOX2.

    APEX_ITEM.CHECKBOX2(2,EMP.EMPNO,null,null,null,'f02_'||lpad(ROWNUM,4,'0')) NO,

    And the javascript function will be

    You cannot use $v to get the value of the checkbox element such that it works differently for the boxes, see http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E37097_01/doc/doc.42/e35127/javascript_api.htm #BGBGDGIH.
    Therefore, you use the jQuery val().

    See you soon,.

  • How to get the peak value

    Can I know how to get the 2 peak values v1 and v2 and 2 duration times t1 t2.

    Since there is a small amplitude noise, difficult to use the Max simplely.

    May need to use a filter such as wavelets or TREE to Denoise it first. Can I know how to use, any Toolbox in labview. How do the curve smooth first.

    Thank you.

    I can't watch your vi now (I'm at work), but if your signals are long enough, you might consider a median filter.  You can set the number of points before and after use.  I found that it is useful for some smoothing problems (not all).

  • How to get the parameter values of a step type custom when I create file and adding a type of step seq

    I use lv 8.5 and teststand 4.0.

    I did a step type custom and recorded at the MyTypes.ini in pallets of type.

    I specified a default module by opening the properties of the custom step of *.ini type window, then I put some values of the parameters.

    T1) when I open teststand and I add the custom step type manaully in seq file, the labview module parameter values are represented.

    But, if to use file (create and add support prototype stage), the labview module parameter values has the default value.

    Using joint file, how to get the setting custom step type values I put in *.ini?

    Q2) each type of step are automatically by name through the use of LoadTypePaletteFilesEx. When I open teststand and I add the custom step type manaully in seq file, the module is loaded automatically. Inside the attachment, I use a prototype of charge and a fixed path where the module labview is to load the labview module.

    Can I load module automatically without using a prototype of charge or how can I get a dynamic path of type step?

    I solved Q1 for myself by using the mapping tab of the parameter within the configuration to the default module window.

    Everyone knows Q2?

    Thank you.

  • How to get the TextInput value

    I have written following code:

               var wpisz:TextInput = new TextInput();

                wpisz.text = "";

    What I'm trying to do is get this text value after the user clicks the button. If user enter value then click on the button and then in the entered label value is displayed. How to do this?

    Try something like this:

    // add imports here

    // set SWF params here
    public class MyApp extends Sprite
    {
      private var text_input : TextInput = new TextInput();
      private var button     : LabelButton = new LabelButton();

      ////////////////////////////////////////////
      public function MyApp()
      {
        super();
        // set attribute location and size information here

        this.addChild( this.text_input );

        this.button.label = 'Press Me';
        this.button.addEventListener( MouseEvent.CLICK, DoClick );
        // set btn size and location here
        this.addChild( this.button);

        this.stage.nativeWindow.visible = true;
      }

      ////////////////////////////////////////////////
      private function DoClick( event : Event ) : void
      {
        this.button.label = this.text_input.text;
      }
    }

    It has not been compiled or tested but you should get on your way.

    BTW, there are a lot of ActionScript, Adobe Flex and Adobe AIR examples on the web to use Basic controls and events.

    Good luck.

    .. .who is the same thing that will happen if you run SQL * more and type "fnd_profile.value...". »

    Assuming that fnd_profile.value is a function, you must select from the something (say double) or assign to a variable.
