  and build the sample project: \Adobe InDesign CS6 Plugin SDK\build\win\prj\BasicDialog.sdk.vcxproj

  But i copy 2 files: BasicDialog.sdk.pln and BasicDialog.pdb to [C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe InDesign CS6\Plug-Ins]

  It I open Adobe Indesign CS6, it shows the error message:

  Adobe InDesign does not recognize the BASICDIALOG. SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT KIT. PLN as a plug-in. Please reinstall the BASICDIALOG. SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT KIT. Plug-in PLN and restart InDesign.

  It seems to me that you can do what you need with an IdleTask. To use an IdleTask in your plug-in, you must implement a class based on CIdleTask.

  Starting an IdleTask it will be called periodically, depending on the settings of the task. You can start your plugin IdleTask running when InDesign is launched. In your case, I guess the IdleTask would check to see if there are files to process in a particular folder.

  You can find examples of implementation of an IdleTask in couple of sample plug-ins Adobe including the SDK SDK: CustomDataLink and PanelTreeView (there may be others).

  The CustomDataLink plug-in starts his IdleTask in CusDtLnkStartupShutdown::Startup() and stop him in CusDtLnkStartupShutdown::Shutdown() in CusDtLnkStartupShutdown.cpp. The RunTask() method (which does work) is defined in CusDtLnkLinkResourceStateUpdaterIdleTask.cpp.

  PanelTreeView implements its IdleTask similar to the plugin CustomDataLink way done, then you will want to check as well as the sample.

  1. I don't think it's possible. Real plugins are written in C++. I bet you're confused plugins scripts-- these can be written in different languages, but I'm not sure that Java is among them.

  If you send the illustrator of the draw, it will automatically convert to vector illustrations.

  1. make sure that you are connected to the PC and the CreativeCloud iPad with the same subscription that you use to launch Adobe Illustrator.

  2. with Internet on iPad, simply click: send to Illustrator.

  You even don't need to have Adobe Illustrator running, it should appear on your PC automatically.  If it is already running, the image will transfer as vector illustrations.

  If you have layers in the draw, they will appear as layers in Adobe Illustrator as well.

  You can then continue your design in Illustrator.

  (If you use Photoshop, it will stay in a layer, raster format)
