How to redirect in Signon Peoplecode

My client is using oracle access manager for single signon, and they want to be able to redirect users to a custom page if authentication fails (as if they didn't have a username in PeopleSoft).

It is my understanding that %Response.Redirect does not work in peoplecode signon. so is there a way to redirect?

You can use the SetAuthenticationResult function to redirect users to SignOn PeopleCode. I use it extensively for conditionally to redirect users to different locations.

http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E28394_01/pt852pbh1/Eng/psbooks/TPCL/book.htm?file=TPCL/htm/tpcl02.htm#H4590

For example: SetAuthenticationResult (False, userid, & redirectURL, False);

Note: For this redirection to work, you must change your Web Profile Configuration > Look and Feel (tab):
The Signon result Doc Page signonresultdocredirect.html value

Help information:

Note: The web server must be restarted for the changes to the web profile to take effect.

I hope this helps. Thank you!

  • How to redirect the page using af: Poll?

    Hi William

    Create a pollListenerMethod in backing bean code using a code like this:

    public void poll1_pollListener (PollEvent pollEvent) {}
    ExternalContext ectx is FacesContext.getCurrentInstance () .getExternalContext ();.
    HttpServletResponse response = (HttpServletResponse) ectx.getResponse ();

  • OSX Apache Server: how to redirect the http request?

    Hi all

    I have a Mini Mac OSX Server El Capitan running. It already serves some sites. Normal Server Web sites:

    -site1.example.com

    -site2.example.com

    Now, I have installed an application that has its own built-in web server. This application would be normally accessible via http on port 80. However, http on port 80 connections are automatically considered trapped by integrated apache of the OSX Server. Therefore, I now put the web application to run in a different port to apache. I also setup a subdomain, so that users can access this application directly, but they also have to type in the port in the URL - for example, the new web app site is reachable at the:

    -myapp.example.com:7117

    What I would do, is for users to simply access the application using:

    -monappli.exemple.com

    I know that there is a way for us to have apache to "Reroute" all requests for a specific to an internal port subdomain automatically, but I don't even know where to start. What are the files we need to configure on OSX Server? How configure us them?

    Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

    I had the same requirement and has resolved the way you want to as described below.

    1. Define the additional app to run on another port
    2. Create a site in.app using port 80 and the same host name you want to use for the additional application
    3. Set up a redirection for this site in.app as follows
    4. Source = /, Destination = http://hostname.domain.com:1234 /, Status = Permanent (301)

    Of course, use the correct host name, the domain and port for your situation.

    PS. the same approach I have described above also can be used to redirect the corresponding https port 80 or 443 site.

    Hello

    • What version of Winodws XP do you use?

    Unfortunately, it is not possible.

    You can use the backup utility to back up files and folders on a computer that is running Windows XP.

    If you use Windows XP Home Edition, you can refer to the following steps:

    Before you can back up important information on your computer, you must install the backup utility. The backup utility is included on the Windows XP Home Edition CD.

    Note If you do not have the original CD of Windows XP Home Edition of Windows XP was preinstalled on your computer, contact the computer manufacturer or visit the Web site of the manufacturer for more information. You can also use the backup software that you purchase separately.

    To install backup from the Windows XP CD:

    1. Insert your Windows XP CD into the CD or DVD from the computer player.
    2. Click exit.
    3. Locate the: \ValueAdd\Msft\Ntbackup folder on the CD.
    4. Double-click ntbackup.msi to install the backup utility.
    5. When the backup or Restore Wizard prompts you, click Finish.
    6. Remove the Windows XP CD.

    Now that you have installed the backup utility, you are ready to back up your important information.

    If you use Windows XP Professional, to back up your files and folders, follow these steps:

    Note To back up files and folders, you must be connected to the computer as an administrator or as a user who belongs to the Administrators group. To verify that you are connected to Windows with a user account is an administrator on the computer, see the Microsoft Web site at the following address:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/GP/Admin (http://support.microsoft.com/gp/admin)

    Note The following steps explain how to use the backup utility to back up your files and folders manually. You can also use the backup and Restore Wizard to back up your files and folders. However, the steps will be slightly different from those that are listed in the next section.

    Step 1: Open the backup utility

    1. Click Startand then click run.
    2. Type ntbackup.exe in the Open box, and then click OK.

      Note If you receive the following error message, make sure that you followed the steps in the "how to install the backup utility" section correctly:

    Windows cannot find 'ntbackup.exe'.
    Step 2: Select the items to back up and select the location for the backup file
    1. Click Advanced Mode.

    Note If the backup and Restore Wizard, the utility runs in Wizard mode. You can click to clear the always start in Wizard mode check box, and then restart the backup utility. If you continue to use the Restore Wizard and backup, the steps will be slightly different from those that are listed in the next section.

  • Click the backup tab.
  • In the menu of task , click new.
  • Select the check boxes next to the drives you want to back up. If you select files or folders, expand the drive where these files or folders. Then, select the check boxes for the files or folders you want to back up.
  • Select the System State check box that is located under my computer in the navigation pane.

    Note If you want to save settings system and data files, back up all data on your computer and the system state data. The system state data includes the registry, COM + class registration database, files that are under the Protection of files Windows, the boot files and other system files.

  • If it is available to the backup destination list, click the backup destination that you want to use.

    Note If you selected file at this point, type the path and the full name for which you want to back up data in the backup media or file name box.

    You can specify a network share as a destination for the backup file. Generally, backup files have the .bkf file name extension. However, you can use any extension of file name you want.

  • Step 3: Start the backup

    1. To open the backup information dialog box, click Start Backup .
    2. Under If the media already contains backups, perform one of the following:
      • If you want to add this backup file to previous backup files, click append this backup to the media. This option adds the new backup in the existing backup file so that you can keep all the previous backups in a single file. This option is useful if you ever want to restore a backup from a specific day. Be aware that the size of the backup file will increase with each new backup. You can monitor the file size to make sure that it does not fill your hard drive over time. If the file becomes too large, you should consider saving the file on an external hard drive. Or, if you are concerned about the file using too much hard disk space, select replace the data on the media with this backup instead.
      • If you want to replace the files of previous backup with this backup file, click replace the data on the media with this backup. This option is useful if you want to keep the current backup and do not care to keep the previous backups. Or, use this option if you are concerned about the file using too much disk space on your computer.
    3. Click Advanced.
    4. Select the check box Verify data after the backup .
    5. In the Backup Type box, click the type of backup that you want to create. For a description of each type of backup, click the backup type and the description appears under "Description." You can select all of the following types of backup:
      • Normal
      • Copy
      • Incremental
      • Premium
      • Every day
    6. Click OK, and then click Start Backup. A backup progress dialog box appears, and the backup starts.

    Step 4: Leave the backup utility

    1. When the backup is complete, click close.
    2. In the menu of task , click exit.

  • How to redirect the Email?

    Last month my ISP - AT & T - stopped my Windows Mail account, which came with Vista of accommodation.  Now I can't access the email at this address. AT & T opt for a Yahoo! Mail host instead. And they said that E-mail would be automatic transfer from my previous account at Yahoo! Mail on my approval. Well it didn't, despite hours on the phone with AT & T technique. So my question is: How can I auto-market front/redirecting e-mail intended for my Windows Mail on my Gmail address or Yahoo! account? I'm desperate here, please help! Thank you!

    AT & T has used Yahoo email heir host for years.  AT & T is a Yahoo ID address, it should continue to work, but it will be transformed into a free account.  This means access POP will stop working, but you should still be able to connect to http://mail.yahoo.com/ with a web browser, using your AT & T email address and the password as credentials.

    This IMAP that AT & T and Yahoo don't tell you, it is that even if the POP does not work with the free accounts, don't.  If you wish to continue using Windows Mail, you can using the instructions here: http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?page=content&y=PROD_MAIL_MOBILE&locale=en_US&id=SLN3361&pir=qxSEFXxibUnqYLXxPasjYmzP1g3oCFfL8nB42ZAeEHGUEA1QLGZYOlaatjaRp30qrGI43BO11lfF459sxyyZTZI_R9f7xNBymKZ9EKmYV9TZkzTSQ5HMk9.T6HoUu1s.oV7_Xl6GKxJkWemRkMTZfAIlY2HZ4R0tApJnLssy1UcrG3PZ0f3ZtObeNU8TDqU6NyJBmIIW9joKx50nEDa0jZ4yDPKh_Ut4x_4s5Q.CnNMPrTSQBi_OLinWyUvQlUQq9PNgTY2HOBbBIbGG7da1YZnSzliwXxWhkKjLcBcH9JCK2TvxMDjO_7AqumnwvRE3hv2czwSeM9Subvffpmjz9rhky21kIy3IGWOChGggvaQUYhYEhqB5ZEm_ALfZU8wt1MR5TAx.uyPr9ts2Ljt8wX0XrM72V_U-

    If you do not specify the full url of the link always assumes that you bind to the same application.
    Specify the full url or use a method of bean who returns only the current server and port that you can build the final url using EL.

  • How to redirect to a page (without plug and pl/sql)

    Hello
    Have a requirement where when a user in the application, the APP_USER connection must be checked against the list of users in a database table, so APP_USER name exists in the table, the user should be redirected to the home page of another user should be redirected to the registration page.

    Tried the notion of connection:
    Branch point: on charge: before header

    Condition: NOT Exists (SQL query returns no line)
    Expression1: select * from users_tab where name = v('APP_USER')

    When this condition is given, if the user name does not exist in the users_tab, the page is redirected to page 1, instead of the registration page.

    It does not, the problem, it was that there was an entry in APP_USERS with VC

    1 user name
    2 password
    3. type.
    The TYPE has 2 values, employee and admin.
    When the type is admin they should be redirected to page 2,
    reaining IE users used must be redirected to page 3.
    How can I do this? Please give some suggestions.

    Thank you.

    Kind regards

    Gurujothi

    Check it out. Guru user lands on Page 1, other land users to Page 2.

    Here's how it was done.

    a. the CustomAuthentication function returns a Boolean, but does not store the username anywhere. So I changed it.
    b. has created a named FUSER element of the Application (you can change the name and code as you wish).
    c. change the CustomAuthentication function to include the following line just before the return statement

    APEX_UTIL.SET_SESSION_STATE('FUSER',upper(p_username));

    So now the user name is stored and used in the session state.
    d. added the branch on Page 1, Onload before header that has Page 2 as its target.
    e. does the conditional branch using the lettering element FUSER. The condition is FUSER <> 'GURU', so that other users are directed to the Page 2.

    Kind regards

    Yannick,

    If I understand you correctly, what you're talking about is an anchor.

    You create anchor points on the page where you want to scroll through the options (not redirect to). For example, in your scenario, you would have 3 anchors (personal, educational, contact). You create an anchor point by inserting an af:goLink with the 'id' property specified as the name of the link. For example:

    Then you would have a 'Personal data updated' link that are mentioned as destination anchor name:

    OK, first of all, get rid of the $_SERVER ['REQUEST_METHOD'].  Now if a form is set to display your address it will be processed.  Spambots like these forms because you're really not checking if your form has been submitted.  Usually, you should only need to check if $_POST ['something'] is presented.  I know that I have not said this before, but I should have.

    Then, move the at the beginning of the document before the

    Now, remove the "else" statement

    Then remove the line "echo Thank you" and the $_POST = array(); line.  $_POST is a superglobal and always a table, so you never have to define it. And if you redirect someone, there is nothing you need to do the echo.

    So now, your code should be down for:

    <>

    If (isset($_POST['submit']) &! empty($_POST['submit')) //Test if clicked on button named submit submit and not empty

    {

    If (! empty($_POST['first']) &! empty($_POST['last']) &! empty($_POST['email'])) {}

    $body = "name: {$_POST ['first']} \nLast name: {$_POST ['last']} \nEMail address: {$_POST ['email']} \nContactez phone number: {$_POST ['phone']} \nContactez preference: {$_POST ['contactvia']} \nBest Contact time: {$_POST ['timepref']} \nComments:\n {$_POST ['comment']}";

    $body = wordwrap ($body, 70);

    mail (' [email protected]', 'NEW customer investigation presentation', $body, ' to: {$_POST ['email']} "" ");

    Header ('Location: url.php "");  Redirect to the new url if form is submitted

    }

    }

    ?>

    Just move this text "Please fill out the form" to the actual page above the form.  If the user has sent the form, they will then get redirected, if not, they see the page.  Make sense?

  • How to redirect a page html on submit

    I have this form and I wish that when people click on the btn to submit, to be redirected to a html landing page. I don't know if I need to change the php script action or both. Does anyone know how to do this?

    Thank you

    Here is the code for both

    Import flash.net.URLVariables; import flash.net.URLRequest;  / * Mouse click event by clicking on the specified symbol instance performs a function in which you can add your own custom code.  Instructions: 1. Add your custom code on a new line after the line that says "/ / Start your code custom" below. The code runs when the user clicks the symbol instance. * / submit.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, fl_MouseClickHandler);  function fl_MouseClickHandler(event:MouseEvent):void {if (eMail.text == "") {eMail.text = 'Please enter your e-mail address';}            } else {/ / Start your code custom / / create a container var allVars:URLVariables = new URLVariables();}      allVars.eMail = eMail.text;      allVars.bead = bead.selected;      allVars.jewelry = jewelry.selected;      allVars.onlineNewsletter = onlineNewsletter.selected;      allVars.sandiegoNewsletter = sandiegoNewsletter.selected;      Send the info to URL var mailAddress:URLRequest = new URLRequest ("http://www.southsunbeads.com/media/flash/form.php");      mailAddress.data = allVars;      mailAddress.method = URLRequestMethod.POST;      sendToURL (mailAddress);           Thankyou. Text = "Thank you!"      } eMail.text = "";         Bead.Selected = false;         Jewelry.Selected = false;         onlineNewsletter.selected = false;         sandiegoNewsletter.selected = false; }

    I see some, but not all, of provisions for the PHP file to indicate to the Flash is made of data processing.  Once this confirmation received is when you need to take care of closing shop questions.  If you continue the completion of the loop in your actionscript code to receive the output that the PHP generates and then offer the thanks and the release of the fields and finally ending with the redirection using navigateToURL command.
