How to resize a page file of pdf with Acrobat Pro?

Acrobat Pro, how can you resize a page to PDF (21.38 x 26.75 mm ") into a single measure 6" x 9 ", which will be submitted as the trim size? Is there a feature that allows it to be? How does set an all printing options in the print Application dialog box to adjust the size of a page of custom file?

Pages wide you need to tax a plugin or script in Acrobat.

Alternatively, you can print them on the Adobe PDF printer using the desired page size, well that which will remove all the file contains metadata (bookmarks, fields, comments, etc.).

    Hi higi97,

How are you connected to the internet? You're behind a corporate firewall particularly safe? You're on Mac or Windows? You have an anti-malware software running on your computer which can prevent applications other than your browser to connect to internet?

You can try the steps below:

    1. close the application of creative cloud.

    2. navigate to the OOBE folder.

Windows: [system drive]: \Users\ [user name] \AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE

    Mac OS: /Users/ [user name] / folder/Library/Application Support / Adobe / OOBE

    3. delete the opm.db file.

    4. launch creative cloud.

Let us know if this helps,

    Kind regards

Depends on the file. Files secure, files created in LiveCycle Designer,

  • Import data from Excel in PDF with Acrobat Pro XI - is it possible? How?

I need to be able to create a pdf file where certain information can be merged to an Excel spreadsheet in the pdf file so that our land use specialists can use tablets to fill the field. I also need to be able to create a field where the user can join or import a jpg file. Is it possible to do this with Acrobat Pro XI? Another program is necessary. I need to know the answers to my questions by January 28, 2016.

    Hi shannonr80675036,

Yes, but you there are two things you need to do in Excel for this to work:

Columns must be named the same as the field names in the PDF form. The names that you use in your PDF form, or you must change the names of fields in the PDF form so that they correspond to the column names in Excel, you can either match. In this example, I took the first approach and used the field names as my column headings:

When you export your data to Excel file, you must select the "Tab Delimited Text" format. It is one of the export options in Excel (and other spread sheet applications) which is available when you select file > save as:

Once you have your tabs-delimited text file, open your PDF form, and then select Tools > forms > more form Options and click Import:

In the file dialog box, select this option to import a text file, browse to your exported text file and select it. In the next screen, you can then choose what import record, you can import only one record at a time:

This will complete the PDF form with the selected values:

That, for each record you have in your Excel file and save the PDF file under a new name.

  • How to create a pdf with Acrobat Pro 7 which can be edited/saved by user

Found the link to this and he lost!  Now, I'm wasting time trying to figure it out yet - 3 hours!  The PDF with fields was created with Acrobat.  When I tested with Adobe Reader, it will not allow the user to save the file - fill and print ONLY.  Friday, I was able to find a workaround, but now I forgot.  Any help is appreciated.  Thank you!

    Hi Tiggerc,

If you have Acrobat Pro 7 or higher, you can add reader allowing rights to the PDF document that will allow the user with the Reader Adobe free to fill out and save the form.

You can find it in the menu advanced in Acrobat 7 with similar wording to "Expand in Adobe Reader" or "Enable usage rights in Adobe Reader".  After selecting this menu option just follow the guests of the dialog box.

Let me know if you have any questions

    Kind regards

  • Flattening of PDFs with Acrobat Pro XI

Just to have a PDF print the rebound in employment because the file has not been flattened & I had a few problems of major black overprint with the printed piece.

Is it possible to flatten the PDF (as printer suggested)? He did not know how, but asked that I made and submit again for a reprint.

The javascript online freebie works for Acro X and not Pro XI.

    Thank you!

    Hi peterpica,

You can find the tool overview of flattening in the Production Print pane in the tools Panel. You can delete/flatten transparency with the Flattener Preview. See this document for assistance for more information: Adobe Acrobat X Pro * overview of dialog box overview of flattening (he wrote for Acrobat X, but also applies to Acrobat XI).

  • Problems with printing to PDF with Acrobat Pro 9 and FireFox 8

The page that I use for my base is: http://blogs.adobe.com/digitalpublishing/2010/12/google-ebooks.html

I have Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro and FireFox 8 is installed.

The problem with FireFox is when I select a part of a web page and try to print the selected text, the first line gets chopped, if the text is small, the first line could even be completely missing.  It is perhaps a matter of margin but don't know how to edit it.FF.png

I know I'm not very clear but if anyone has any ideas or would like more info please let me know.

    Thank you.

I suspect that if you do the same process with a print on paper, you will get the same result. I got the same result with SeaMonkey, but IE8 printed the police complete in PDF format. Which suggests that it is not Acrobat, but the browser. As I said, suggests, so pay attention to your conclusions.

  • Can I hidden several Word Documents into a single PDF with Acrobat Pro

I use Acrobat X Pro version 10.1.10...I'm trying to select several files to Word Document (Mac Version 14.4.3) but when choose the files, file format of Word Documents I can't select them as a cabriolet. If I drag them in the conversion box it says that they are not a recognized file format... any ideas?

You can open any WORD file in Acrobat format? Otherwise, it's probably a limitation of Acrobat on the Mac. On the PC, you can simply use the option to combine in the file menu to create a new PDF. The WORD document conversion uses the PDF Maker option installed in WORD that should work, but it's the same process as the opening of a DOC or DOCX file directly in Acrobat. There is limitation with the compatibility of the different versions of OFFICE and Acrobat who could be another question, you meet, but I don't know the combinations to a Mac. Only, this gives you some ideas to consider. Some of the users MAC maybe more later to give more thoughts.

The alternative is to create a PDF file for each of the WORD files, and then use the feature combine to combine PDF files.

  • Cannot delete pages with Acrobat Pro DC

    Hello

I can't remove the pages of a PDF with Acrobat Pro DC

I checked the properties and full control is thus authorized to change. I can actually change the text within the document, but I don't see how to remove some pages. The Edit function is accessible but not delete it.

I'd be in a specific mode to delete the pages and if so, how access?

    Thank you

    Michael

    Process of

    1 tools > organize Pages

    2. select relevant thumbnails page (s) you want to delete

    3. click on the trash icon.

    4. in the 'Adobe Acrobat' dialog box message that says "are you sure you want to remove the page from the document?", click on the OK button.

    5. now, you can save the file or to continue working with the file.

  • Convert block of text to PDF with Acrobat

Hello. When to convert a text file to PDF with Acrobat X Pro the spacing of the characters in the resulting file is incorrect.  The columns of figures that line up correctly in the text file, do not properly align in the PDF file.  I adjust the conversion settings in the CREATE PDF FROM WEB PAGE THE box and I chose a fixed-width font.   If I use Adobe PDF Converter (printer driver), the result is perfect.  If I open the text file with Microsoft Word and then convert it to PDF with PDFMaker, it is also perfect. I want to use Acrobat so that I can bulk convert my files 300 text in PDF format.   Can you please help as I have tried everything?  Thank you.  Paul Pontikis (Deakin University)

How are the files PDF, text is a set of text-as-graphics. Individual graphs can be lines, words or even simple letters. So there aren't really spaces at all in many files, just the text is a little further away.

Clearly Acrobat calculates wrong - I think as I said, this looks like a rounding error.

There nothing like what you are looking for - once the PDF file is made, the locations are fixed.

To remove the pages of a PDF file, you must use Acrobat (choose Remove in the Pages pane on the tools Panel). If you do not have Acrobat, you can try it free for 30 days. See www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html for more information.
