  I'm trying to get my head around how would you use Data Guard with E - Business Suite.

  I know that you can use only physical standby with EBS, however I have a few basic questions about specific values < SETTING > and how they are treated by a standby.

  Given that the standby and primary servers will have different host names and that generally there are < FRAME > specific values that include the hostname, where they will have to change on the standby server, both from the point of view of the battery backup Apps and within the standby database itself, I wondered how it would happen.

  Usually, EBS cloning process would change the < FRAME > target settings in the target apps stack and the target database (for example, parameters such as FND_NODES etc.).

  Q1. However I do not know how the process of cloning E - Biz would fit with a database of the day before?

  Q2. As the standby database won't even be in an open State, I don't know yet how you would apply a party any of the cloning process to a database of pending to the target?

  Q3. Even if you were able to change on the eve of the database to reflect the < FRAME > from backup server, it would mean surely it was more a physical copy of the primary database, that's why it would be more a day before.

  All a bit confusing - any clarification appreciated

  The CreateODBC... functions () are NOT designed to do anything on creating human readable date | time strings.  If you want to format the date to a datetime object part in a friendly human-readable format, use the attribute dateFormat() function.  If you want to format the time of a DateTime part in a friendly human-readable format, use the timeFormat() function.

  If you want both, use the two functions.

  If my thought was to use an IF statement so that if the beginning was empty then it would just fill the field as white who then will not cause an error on the SUM.

  However if I use an IF statement as follows:

  = If (b2 > 0, c2 - b2, "")

  or

  = If (b2 > "0:00", c2 - b2, "")

  I get errors on the comparison of different types.

  I know that the first part is wrong, but I do not remember how to operate.

  I wrote a LoginModule (that implements the javax.security.auth.spi.LoginModule).
  SV, it's very simple. I just need to choose 'Custom Security Provider' (for the deployed application) and set my own LoginModule implementation such as the JAAS login Module class.
  In the logic of the Web, it seems to be quite different.
  I understand that I must use an authentication provider (cannot use the right, a flaw?) first and map my LoginModule to it somehow.
  I'd appreciate if someone will let me know how doing this (and what must be configured through the Console of Administration Weblogic).

  Yes, SQL can be modified only using Discoverer Administrator.

  Open the workbook/report based on the custom SQL you want to edit in Discoverer Plus. Look at the file that is used to select the columns on the report.

  Open up to the discoverer with the id administrator who has access to the referenced tables in the report. And the custom folder with the same name in the disc more would be listed down in the business district (owned the custom folder Business Area can be determined using the disc more).

  Just open that folder and edit the SQL code in it. You can paste your new sql in there and click on validate SQL to validate it to find errors. If no error, then the custom folder is successfully changed.

  So that it reflects, close your existing disc more session and then open, and you can go on using the custom folder.

  The 'clean' command removes all partitions on the selected disc.

  NB. the Diskpart command should be used only by experts. It is an extremely dangerous tool.

  The previous fold was right in that you will need to call start() on your clock.  You will also need to move your variable timer (NPCMoveDelay) and the creation of timer outside the service.  You're currently declare it as a variable function which will disappear when the function is finished.

  Situation.  Late 2009 iMac with OSX 10.7.5.  Used Airport Extreme since purchase in early 2010.  Use a modem cable from Arris SB 6141.  Decided to upgrade to 2 TB Time Capsule.  And the problems started.  I put TC in place... Finally, with the help of the people of this forum (thanks).  Transport CANADA does not have the internet connection to the Modem.  New to this forum I discovered that the TC does not like the SB6141.  So I put the Airport Extreme in the network and work like a charm wireless.

  Now, how can I connect the TC to the network or the Mac to use the part Time Machine?

  I tried to put the TC in Airport Extreme with an ethernet cable.  First, the iMac would not recognize the local network by removing printers and the other external USB drive; and my TV got confused on what wifi network with the same name in which to connect.

  Before I hit the reset button on the time Capsule I tried to ask what would be the right steps.

  You should not have really big questions on Lion.

  Connect the WAN of TC port on the ethernet port LAN AE.

  Configure the TC in bridge. I disable the wireless to EI and let it run in the TC... that's much better work in this configuration.

  The Mac that will backup must really be connected to the TC in direct wireless or ethernet... This will help loads.

  The wireless work better on the TC... If it isn't, then you can swap EI... but I'd be surprised if that was the case.
