I have tried everything, but Adobe Flash Player did not finish install on...

my laptop HP Pavilion with Windows 7 64 bit Edition Home Premium.

I was using an old copy of Firefox v28 I hate the new version that they removed the major part of the 'goodies' we liked.  Adobe/Firefox started to complain and stop Flash when browsing and ask me to hit more buttons to continue and start charging Flash.

I finally had enough so upgraded Firefox to v35 because somewhere who was recommended as my browser was "obsolete." But Flash and the warnings stop does not stop with the update.

So I uninstalled Flash if she was still installed, downloaded a new copy of Adobe's Flash and tried to install.  It was last week and I still can't get it to complete the installation.  I get the 'RUN' then it stops and crashes.  The task manager says it has memory allocated but no CPU usage.

I repeated this process SEVERAL times with rotation on or off firewall, power of the anti-virus, etc. and still nothing.

Someone at - he a clue as to why?

Thank you

Thanks, I think that did so. I read on the SETUP, but never could find exactly and he always sent me the

'install_flashplayer16x32_mssd_aaa_aih.exe '.

PS Si someone has contacts with Adobe, it would be great if they could ask them to address this issue of update once and for all. On this iMac special every time I try to update I lose an hour or two installs clean (which worked, but not this time), to make productive use of time at least. Our Department IT people say that we have to pass because of security issues in Flash, so we do not have the opportunity to stay with old versions of work proven

Unless you use the 64-bit browser, you will not need 64-bit plugins.  Just because Windows is 64-bit does not mean that everything has been installed it is.

Uninstall all Plugins Internet (RealPlayer, QuickTime, Adobe Flash Player, Adobe Shockwave Player, Adobe Air, Microsoft Silverlight, K-lite codec pack, etc.) of your computer.

    Turn it back on.

Reset Internet Explorer default.  If used, reset the default values for Firefox.
[Note: If you don't have any other browsers installed at that time, taste.]  Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Opera are decent.

    Turn it back on.

Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

Remove anything they find. Reboot when necessary. (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

Search online with eSet Online Scanner. Delete everything is found.

    Turn it back on.

Install Adobe Flash Player (in Internet Explorer and Firefox separately) and Microsoft Silverlight.  Remember to UNCHECK all the boxes to install other software with them.

    Turn it back on.

Try whatever you were doing before.  Come back and let everyone know how things went.

  • Adobe Flash Player stop asking to install.

I use windows 7 and Mozilla firefox, but this problem occurs even when I do not have a browser window open.

Adobe flash player quit asking to install. probably once a minute, I get a request (UAC) to allow adobe flash player to install. Even with no browser windows open. EVEN WHILE I'M WATCHING FLASH VIDEOS, he tells me to install it. He literally interupts everything I do, even when I'm not browsing the internet.

I currently completely uninstalled it AFAIK. I used uninstaller from adobe available on this site. So there is no flash player or shockwave player installed on my computer... continues to receive this request every minute or so.

    This is ridiculous.

I tried to run a virus scan, because it's the only thing that I could possibly think would this irritating, and it says that my computer is clean.

Is there some secret files somewhere that I have to delete? I think to delete the activex installation files. I get "entry in the service of installation ActiveX (AxInstSV) the report being run." in my event viewer, that seem to coincide with this problem.

I finally got it fixed but I'm not sure what fixed it.

    Here's what I did:

    Uninstalled all browsers.

    Uninstalled all things Adobe.

    Uninstalled Java

Delete whatever it be left behind (I left stuff browser well because I wanted to save my password and other).

disabled activexsvinst or something of service. The activex Installer service.

    Used CC cleaner clean registry

Made sure to delete almost everything in user/local/temp and other records (where java and adobe store stuff usually.) I don't know maybe want to be careful to make this cause, I don't know if there is any important files. Also some records will not let you delete it but it just means that you must go to the folder and select then delete. The only file that must be in one of the records in thosetemp is like fxsapidebug or something, in my opinion).

    restarted

    run CC cleaner.

    restarted

not sure if that helped, but I also used HIJACKTHIS and uninstalled some aides of browser that was not deleted. In particular, there was an adobe one I think. Can't really remember tho. Now that I look at hijackthis it again, he couldn't was this because the browsers help stuff is still there.

I also ran about 500000000 virus scans with several scanning programs and none of them does not detect it.

I reinstalled Mozilla and flash and have not had any problems since.

Hope this helps someone else with the same problem.

  • Adobe Flash Player does not work in Win 10

I installed Windows 10 at the end of July and immediately noticed that I couldn't see all the videos and Adobe Flash Player does not seem to work, but the noise was present.  The video screen was a series of green lines and nothing visible.  I tried 10 IE and Mozilla Firefox, and neither wouldn't work.  I couldn't get any help from Microsoft, and on the community positions, is not any problem similar to mine.  Finally back to Win 7 Professional (easy to do) and no problems at all with the videos.  Ongoing MS do pop - ups ' "remind me to install Win 10, but until I think they corrected this problem, or at least acknowledged, I'll stick with Win 7.

In previous versions of windows, the adobe 'hardware acceleration' caused green screens often, try to change that if you can Flash W10.

See - https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1927939?start=0&tstart=0 and follow up on the link for details and other things to test. Don't know which applies directly to W10 however, but it can at least give a few pointers.

    Hello

Make sure that you have downloaded the Flash Player right as Firefox uses a different plugin than Internet Explorer (which uses ActiveX).

  • OSX Yosemite - Flash Player will not even install - tried everything (I think!)

I've tried everything. I have a new MacBook Pro with Yosemite 10.10

I downloaded all Adobe Flash Player installation file that says will work with the latest Mac system, but it bounces right on the dock. I finally found one that actually opens a window of Setup, but when I click on 'Install' the beachball weaves, let him shoot all day today to see if the time would help. He just kept spinning as if it were really long Beach Boys concert.

Please, someone help. All with the video seems to use it. I had this problem for the both Safari AND Firefox.

Great, glad you were able to get running.  Usually when you see this, it's a third-party virus scanner - usually a release or off-brand a - which is to stop the installation program.  If you want to help us improve Setup online, newspapers would be useful.  Otherwise, we keep links updated for offline installation programs displayed on the installation troubleshooting guide.

  • Receiver error message: "You can not have administrative permissions", downloaded Adobe Flash Player.

Original title: what it means when you download a file, but an error pops up saying you do not have administrative permissions, but actually you download from an administrative account?

I am trying to download the latest version of adobe flash player from their site. When I try to download it, it will tell me I have not sufficient permissions to do so and I am downloading to an administrative account, and it still does not work.

    Hi Antonlew,

    1. are you able to install/download other programs without any problem?

    2. did you of recent changes on the system?

    3. you receive the error message when download or install Flash player?

If you run the installation files, you can try using administrator privileges and check if that helps:

Right click on the program installation files and then click run as administrator.

    See the article:

How to apply once with a full administrator access token?

You can also check out the link to Adobe support and check if it helps:
