Information bar continues poppong

I have Windows xp 32-bit, and have recently installed Flash Player 10.3.183.5.  It is a used machine that I just bought.

The yellow information bar keeps popping up asking if I want to run Adobe Flash Player on almost every new site that I visit.

I uninstalled Flash Player and reinstalled, but that did not help. I searched and read about some old discussions 2009

being a problem, but I couldn't get the resolution.

Please tell me the solution for this problem which seems to have struck a lot of people in the past.

Thank you.

What browser do you use?

Can you post a screenshot of this pop-up?

  • Internet Explorer information bar is missing.

When I need to download the latest control Flashplayer or Active-x, the INFORMATION Internet Explorer BAR is missing.  Therefore, I'm unable to download these updates.  I searched MS knowledge base, tried to Fix It, etc. (microsoft.com) for a solution to this problem.  It occurred when I use IE7 and continues with IE8.

I am running windows xp, service pack 3

I tried to use Windows Update.  This requires an ActiveX.  Also, I don't have the InfoBar of IE8.

Now, I had previously disabled all add-ons in IE8.  To reactivate, IE8-> Tools menu-> manage add-ons-> (must wait to allow add-ons to be cataloged)-> select all the Add-ons listed-> click Activate all add-ons.

After that, Windows Update works normally.  I have not really checked for the information bar, because I will first need to run through the need for it, but my problem is now solved.

Hope this helps others with same or similar difficulties.

  • "Title" bar continues to change color

The "Title" bar continues to change color. I don't mind above all this except that one color is green and I hate this color!

Is it possible to change this behavior?

    Hello

I took a screenshot of my title bar in Firefox (Windows 7) and it marked with an arrow below. I think that is what changes the color on your machine?

In Windows 8, the color of the bars title in all applications is determined by the operating system not Firefox. This varies according to the theme of your operating system, but by default, it is a kind of 'average' colors sampled in your background. This replaces the Aero translucent look of Windows 7.

So detestable green color is most likely taken from your screen background image. To get rid of him the best bet is to change your background.

If you wish to override the settings for Windows, you can try a Firefox theme:

    https://addons.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/themes/

Or you can change the color of the title bar with the code to userChrome.css

  • The yellow popup information bar appears and disappears quickly before I can click on it

  • How can I get Firefox to display the information bar when a pop-up is blocked

I clicked on "don't show this message when pop-ups are blocked" when a popup has been blocked. How can I get this message to reappear again when a pop-up is blocked?

I find generally pop ups boring, but sometimes they are needed to use some Web sites correctly. Now I can not get the information bar to return when a pop-up is blocked. How can I get that back?

    Operating system

    Windows XP

You can see a pop-up block icon in the right corner of the status bar if you have chosen to hide the information bar at the top.
You can click on this icon of pop - up block on the status bar and remove the check mark from «do not show an information message when pop-ups are blocked»

You can watch these prefs the topic: config page and reset them using the context menu:
    Status bar icon: browser.popups.showPopupBlocker
The InfoBar at the top: privacy.popups.showBrowserMessage

To open the topic: config page, type Subject: config in the address bar (address) and press the Enter key, as you type the url of a Web site to open a Web site.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access this page.

Windows Update forced the installation of IE 9, and that's why you see the problems.  See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#15 for workarounds.

    Restore point:

Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

    1. slave of your hard drive in another computer and read/save your data out there.

3 Alternatively, use Knoppix Live CD to recover data:

Download the Vista software from the link above.

After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.

Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.

Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1st in the boot order.

Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.

When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.

Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.

Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).

Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.

  • The information bar prevents me from opening Webhelp

I've recently past computers and updated the operating system to Windows 7. Using IE 8, RoboHelp HTML 7.03

When I compiled my Webhelp project & tried to see, an information bar prevented me to open help. I've never seen this before and as I know, I have not modified the settings in my generation WebHelp SSL.

The bar says "to help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this webpage from running scripts or ActiveX controls that could access your computer."

I suppose this same information bar would also sabotage the webhelp distributed to our customers. Maybe for customers with IE 8, or those who have Windows 7 + IE 8.

I found a setting in Internet Explorer (Internet Options / Advanced tab/security/check box "Allow active content to run in files on my computer") which disables the InfoBar for me, but ask our clients to set some setting in IE so that they can read the help is not an option.

My boss thinks there are a few settings in RoboHelp can I set or change to prevent the blocking of Webhelp this InfoBar. Anyone know of such a context?

    Thanks for your help,

    John

  • Scanner of Code information bar appears automatically

    Hi all:

I have a problem with a bar code reader, specifically Unitech AS - 10U.

Now my problem is this, I am trying to create a sub.vi which accepts the entry of a bar code scanner as if entering the keyboard, make sure that information is the right length and make on to the next step in the sequence. When I use "Barcode Scanner.vi" (see attached vi) it works as a standalone vi no fine no problem, but when I integrate this sub.vi in my main.vi it stops working (even if I paste the entire content of the sub.vi in the main.vi). I found that by using the button "Highlight the execution" in the block diagram and to probe the input as if by magic string make present, however, without this, the input remains empty string (this works in all cases).

So I tried to hit the forums and I came across "Prompt the user for Input" and it worked perfectly, only downside was that now I have to click on the OK button to accept the serial number I am trying to enter, so I changed to measure the length of the string and use that as the acceptance criteria to complete the while loop (see attached vi). Then bam, same problem, now it won't work unless I have the probe.

Can someone help me and tell me what I'm doing wrong, I tried searching the forums and have not been able to find someone who had the same problem, I did.

Thanks for taking the time to read my post, I appreciate it.

That will solve most of the distress, then STOP voting! use a value change event and exit if the length of the string is 6 to 9 characters. (Turn off too much packaging).
