  • Uninstalled Windows 10 after hardware problems. After using the option to uninstall using Windows 7 Adobe Reader has disappeared and I can't install it.

I have upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and after a few hours I decided that I didn't like it particularly because of hardware problems. When I went back to using Windows 7 I realized that I had Adobe Acrobat reader and that I could only open PDF in my browser. In addition to this, I can not re - install Adobe Reader. I get the message below:

The feature you are trying to use is on an unavailable network resource

Click OK to try again or enter a different path to the folder containing the installation package 'AcroRead.msi' in the box below.

By clicking OK, does nothing. I get the same error message.

Does anyone else have this problem? All solutions on how to get the acrobat reader?

  • Adobe Reader has not been installed successfully on Mac

    Computer:

    Mac Mini 3,1

    2.26 GHz

    4 GB OF RAM

Mac OS 10.11.4 (latest version of El Capitan)

Using the installer on the Adobe site seems to be working, but then the Web page loads with the error message "Adobe Reader has not been installed successfully". I tried this three times.

I tried to use the stand-alone Installer, twice. It hangs at "Running scripts package", telling about a minute ago left. I left it like that for hours before having to make a hard stop.

No folder/Adobe applications have appeared in the Applications folder.

I rebooted several times and the disk permissions fix, but the problem remains the same.

    Hello

It seems to be the issue of authorization to file & folder in Mac, please refer to this link for help permissions & Disk Space | Apple Support communities.

    Hello mchlmsv7,

    Thanks for posting your question!

This problem may occur if there is an incorrect setting in one of the registry keys under the following:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders

  • I get an error, 'Adobe reader has stopped working ".

My computer is running Vista and a few days ago my Adobe Reader launch is no longer.  If I click on the drive icon or try to open a pdf file all I get is a message "Adobe Reader has stopped working".  On the other hand, the program works in safe mode.  I tried to uninstall/reinstall and even a restoration of the system among other things.  Met someone with something like that, and if so, what is the difficulty?  Thank you.

    Hi Tblud

Uninstall adobe reader software using the uninstall program.

Download and install the lower version of the adobe reader software.

Now, the problem will be solved.

If you are prompted for updates... you can update.

  • Adobe Reader has encountered a problem and needs to close

This error message occurs whenever I try to save an annotated pdf file. This has never taken place until I tried to download a trial of Adobe Acrobat Pro and then canceled the current download when I learned that Acrobat Pro is incompatible with Windows XP.  I reinstalled the latest Adobe Player and the error persists. I am running Windows XP with SP3. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this error? The error dialog box looks like this:

    Error Message.PNG

I found an answer that worked for me after exploring the following links:

    https://answers.acrobatusers.com/Adobe-Reader-has-encountered-A-problem-and-needs-to-close - q91298.aspx

    https://forums.Adobe.com/message/5170064

I use Adobe Reader XI version 11.0.08. (I'm not using Adobe Reader DC since it is incompatible with Windows XP). I solved the problem on my computer by disabling the Mode protected in Adobe Reader XI setting. This parameter is accessible via the Edit menu in Adobe Reader XI:

Adobe Reader XI > edit > Preferences > (enhanced) protection > mode activate protected at startup.

Note that after unchecking the option of protected mode, Adobe Reader must be closed and restarted for the change to take effect.

I am now able to save a pdf file after adding highlights and comments (annotations).

  • Adobe Reader has stopped working - how do I solve this problem?

It's really annoying as whenever I try to use the free software adobe reader has an adjustment and an error - Adobe Reader has stopped working.

I re-installed this and this again

    Help! its driving me crazy!

    Some things you can try...

    • Using Windows Explorer navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader, and then double-click Eula.exe and accept the license agreement
    • You can open Adobe Reader by itself?  If so, try to disable the Protected Mode [Edit |] Preferences | (Improved) security].
    • If Reader opens in itself, try to disable the Safe_mode in the registry; Download, unzip, then run the attached registry script
    • It might even be a malware problem; See http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/reader-core-dll-error.html
  • I'm having a problem at the opening of the pdf document.  I get the error message: 'Adobe Reader has stopped working ".

I'm having a problem at the opening of the pdf document.  I get the error message: "Adobe Reader has stopped working" then I get Windows to search online for a solution, but then my document is closed. I tried to uninstall and reinstall Adobe Reader XI, restarted my computer, but it did not help.  I get the same message. What should do?

Can you open Reader by itself?  If so, check that disable the Protected Mode improves the situation [Edit |] Preferences | (Improved) security].

  • "Adobe Reader has stopped working" error message

Now, I get "Adobe Reader has stopped working" error message every time I open a PDF, image below. I don't know why this is happening, I had installed it for some time. I also uninstalled Adobe Reader and installed again and it still happens. Help, please!

Additional information - the PDF opens in fact, and I can see the document for a matter of seconds, after which the error message is displayed. Which is very annoying, because it looks like it works (in this sense, it will open the PDF) but then the error message is displayed.

Any suggestions on what I should do would be most appreciated, thanks in advance.

  • Adobe Reader has stopped working, all the solutions?

I'm having a problem with Adobe reader X.

I open the program and it works normally, nothing to report.

Whenever I close the program I get the error message "Adobe Reader has stopped working)

    I'm on Win 7 (32-bit) SP1

    all ideas/solutions for this situation?

    Thanks in advance

It worked for me on Win7 Pro 64-bit:

    Open Adobe Reader X (10.1.1)

    Edit... Preferences... General...

Uncheck 'enable protected startup mode '.

    Close and restart.

I use Symantec AV, I can easily believe it's an irritating inconsistency between what Adobe is trying to do and what Symantec is trying to do.

  • Installations of Adobe Reader 9.2

    Hello

I had a question about the installation of Adobe Reader 9.2.  We downloaded the .exe files NOSSO since the download of distribution site.  We downloaded the separate files for different operating systems.  These BONES are:

    Windows XP SP2

    Windows XP SP3

    Windows Vista

All the files we downloaed have the same name, so we added the name of OS file name when we downloaded the files.

These files are the same size when extracting, have the same files with the same size and date of modification and time.

I believe that we have downloaded the same file for each operating system that we chose, but I wanted to confirm this.

Also, I want to know if Adobe Reader 9.2 install is supported on Windows XP x 64.

    Thank you

That is right. There are not different versions of Adobe Reader 9.2 for Windows.

  • Adobe Reader MUI 10.1.3 point Admin install will not install Adobe Reader MUI 10.1.2

I downloaded Adobe Reader MUI 10.1.3.msp and created a new admin for Player 10.1.3 point facility. I tested the installation with 9.0.4, 10.0.1 and 10.1.2 versions. I find that 10.1.3 will be straighter 9.04 and 10.0.1. I can remove 10.1.2 of the workstation and then do a clean install of 10.1.3 very well. When I try and run the 10.1.3 install on a system that has 10.1.2 on this installation fails with the following error "another version of the product is already installed. The installation of this version cannot continue. To configure or remove the existing version of this product, use Add/Remove programs from the control panel. I think that the Sid/Quid in the MSI has not changed for the 10.1.3 installation and, therefore, the MSI 10.1.3 think it's really the 10.1.2 install and does not install on top of itself as expected. Correct installation of adobe reader 10.1.3

    Assuming that you have:

1 uninstalled all previous installations and

2 installed MUI Reader or reader located on all systems.

3 using the SCCM/SMS to get updates.

10.2 update would work as normal, without any problem.

    1. a localized 10.2 drive (most likely a full installer) would be uninstall the localized previous installation of the drive and install a fresh copy of Reader 10.2

    2. a Reader MUI 10.1.2 patch would update the current installation of Reader MUI on the system up to 10.2 without uninstalling the existing facilities.
