  Hello

  I am not a specialist of connector but have some experience and might know what you are looking for. When we need to display the XMLs (from OPA to Siebel or vice versa), we get into Siebel under:

  Directors - motor integration > transaction log

  You can search for "OPA" in the column of the Interface and XML messages will be displayed in the message area below. If you don't see that maybe because the log levels are not quite high. Increase levels of newspaper in virtue:

  Directors - motor integration > Transaction Setup > Error Logging / handling > Message Log level

  I think the level that you want is '2 - non-transaction Message '.

  is it possible to use the Disqualification Oracle Siebel Connector, for the purpose of a fuzzy search to expand the research capabilities of Siebel?

  I can imagine that it is possible to create a workflow process that calls a Disqualification webservice via an integration object. I wonder if there is a solution that is to any integration effort.

  Integration of the Disqualification can be enabled on the interface of fuzzy query of Siebel. There should be some details about it in the DQ Siebel Administration Guide.

  We have improved OPA Siebel Connector upgrade to version 10.3 10.2. We have performed all the steps in the installation guide and deployed the 10.3 rulebases to tomcat apache (application server that we use).
  
  When we click the button 'Test smoke DS' or 'DS IO smoke Test', we get the following error:

  From the looks of the newspapers, it is call the correct URL and to return a 503 error. We know that the Service is running and works from a fat client.

  The only real differences between thin and thick clients should be the machine that demand comes from (Server siebel for the client, the client computer for the thick client), and the used .srf (thick client that uses its own .srf, lightweight client relies on the used by the Siebel server .srf.)

  1 there is something strange on the thin client application.
  -check the logs in Siebel determinations server to see if it is receiving the request and then return an error (unlikely)
  s ' ensure that the .srf which uses the Siebel server is up-to-date (customer copy heavy to the siebel server .srf).

  2. any security or a firewall preventing the application of the Siebel server.
  -see if you can contact Siebel determinations from the Siebel server server.

  We need to install a connector to manage an AD LDS.
  We used the connector AD user base, we set up against an announcement and it works fine.
  Fact we have changed the rootContext, the Admin of credentials and the address of the server, but seems not working is not on the AD LDS.
  
  We are able to connect to it, in fact, we can successfully run the Organization search AD (the search is filled), but when we try to provision we are faced with an error like:

  Please check the configuration of resources COMPUTER available in form of user AD process and also with login account permissions. Open task "Create a user" in the definition of user AD process and search for any configuration of attribute/DN.

  I installed 10.3 OPA and Siebel connector 10.3. When I tried to run AdminSmokeTestIO, I got the following error:

  Operation 'AssessIO' of the Web Service 'http://oracle.com/determinations/server/siebel/io.DeterminationServerIO' port 'AdminSmokeTestIO' failed with the following explanation: 'no action for "http://oracle.com/determinations/server/10.3/rulebase/types/Assess/io" exists in the service 'odsAssessServiceGeneric103'.'. (SBL-EAI-04308).
  
  I checked server and Siebel server files WSDL determination determination, it does not AssessIO operation in her name.
  
  Please suggest me how to get AssessIO operation in the WSDL file.

  There is a fast reconfiguration that needs to be done to get siebel-determinations-server running on WebLogic.

  Unfortunately, this seems to have missed the documentation.

  Here's what you need to do:

  1 unzip the siebel-determinations - server.war

  2. edit the file WEB-INF/classes/config/application.properties:

  At about line 40, you will see a line indicating

  "" plugin.libraries = "."

  Change this so that the line is (a single line, without break of):

  plugin.libraries=com.oracle.determinations.server.plugins.IntegratedObjectCustomServicePlugin;com.oracle.determinations.bplan.BPlanReturnResultEventHandler
  

  3. Locate the file: bplan_ds_eventhandler.jar and io-custom - service.jar io-custom - service.jar WEB-INF/classes/plugins directory

  4. move these files in WEB-INF/classes/plugins WEB-INF/lib

  5 re - zip the web application for siebel-determinations - server.war (attention do not include additional directories, WEB - INF and META-INF must be at the top level of the .war file).

  With the release of Siebel connector 10.3. The connector supports business objects and the integration of objects, but it does not support virtual business components.

  The earlier version (10.2.1) supports business objects/components only.

  I've had my phone for over a year and never had any problems until this morning in Sync Center (when he was trying to read the contents of my calendar of the device), he shut it down and said "Connector specific error" and the synchronization ends.   You'll probably end up deleting the database. First, use the backup and restore utility to perform a full backup of your data. Then, go to the backup and restore | Advanced. Select the database is damaged on the right side and press the Clear button. In doing so, you clear all the entries in this database.

  Try to make a synchronization later and see if it goes through okay.

• BlackBerry Smartphones connector specific error when sync with Outlook calendar

  Installed Outlook2007.  Address, tasks, and notes will be synchronize everything with my BB 8830.  However, the calendar gives me an error message;  "Connector specific error" after reading the calendar of my camera.  The entire synchronization process stops.  When I uncheck the 'calendar', then the rest of the shares will be synced to the top.  Any ideas?

  Hello everyone.  I got my phone from Blackberry storm about 2 weeks ago and it worked perfectly.  I could back up my files and synchronize my Contacts from the Windows address book.  I had 68 Contacts inside and today I added 5 more to make 73.  I went to sync the phone and just as he was on sync contacts, I have a message "the Intellisync connector specific error."  I then checked the logs, and on the bottom of the log, it says "Internal Error #4238".

  I deleted and reinstalled the Blackberry Desktop Manager and reset my computer and phone several times.  I also wne in the section advanced and deleted contacts from your phone and tried to reinstall the and installed only 44 of them and got the same message "the Intellisync connector specific error."  I was on the phone with Verizon for an hour and they could not help.

  I am running Windows Vista.  Any help appreciated.

  I tried that suggested bifocals, and for some reason, I couldn't understand it.  So what I did I e-mailed me contacts, 15 at a time and it worked perfectly.  Prior to sending contacts, I just had to be converted to .vcf files.

  BEEP has a variable called: xdo_user_name that retrieves the userid of the person who is currently logged on.

  If you want to filter records based on user then you can use it as

• Siebel connector: filling out of the database duplicate

  When you use the Disqualification Siebel connector, how can I initially complete the table double?

  It is empty now (of course). For a new installation of Siebel, this isn't a problem at all: whenever I create a new record, I can see that a record according to is automatically created in the s_dq_org_key table.

  But it might be worth recreating the content of the s_dq_org_key each at the table and when:

  -Let's say I misconfigure something, the Disqualification system is not running for a few days, that's why the key duplicate table is not updated.

  -Or, as now: I attach Disqualification Oracle to an already up & running system (test).

  Batch (either full or incremental batch) can be performed using Siebel DQ Manager. These call Disqualification batch to identify duplicate records. The database shared staging is used to pass relevant data (corresponding to data for the identification of double and effective) between Siebel and Disqualification.

  The additional lots may include things like "all records updated last week" - and Siebel automatically select candidates for these records and entry to the Disqualification. Disqualification will be return matches.

  Please note that S_DQ_ORG_KEY contains only the key values for the selection of candidates. Key values can be updated using the DQ Manager - it be called generation service key to the Disqualification for each record in the scope, assuming you are using Siebel 8.1.1.10 or later version. Otherwise, they are updated in the same way, but the keys are simply formed from expressions configured in Siebel.

• Integration of Siebel UCM with OEDQ

  I'm having a problem with the initialization of the Siebel connector.  I can start it manually by running 'java-jar connector.jar' from the command prompt and running a cleaning job with the Complutense University of MADRID, but as soon as I restart the server, the connector starts automatically with the initialization of the Siebel Services.

  All my environment variables for JRE6 are correct, settings in company Siebel UCM and the parameters of quality of data or set correctly. As I said I can trigger the DQ Web Service once the connector has been initialized manually.

  Is there something I'm missing?

  Siebel to the Disqualification connector is written in Java with a small native component that is loaded by Siebel.  In the configuration (without remote control: true) the native component creates a virtual Java intenally machine and load the Java code in this virtual machine.  Java code communicates with Disqualification of quality of data services.

  If it is not possible to run the Java virtual machine for the connector inside Siebel - this will happen if Siebel uses java - based business services and remote mode is necessary.  The Java code needs to be run in a separate process and the native library Connector communicates using networks.  In this mode the Java connector run code on any machine as any user, which gives much more flexibility of installation. This automatically start Siebel would so that it starts a separate process of Java, this means that a configuration more complex, especially as Siebel can be perform DQ in several independent processes simultaneously.

  It is much simpler to use the features of the OS to start the process of the connector.  On Unix, that an init.d script could be used, under Windows, you can use a scheduled task.
