Is investigated for inactive contacts a good idea?

Hi all

I tried to think of other ways to clean up the data in our contact inactive campaigns, and I was wondering if anyone had some stories of success/failure on the use of surveys. If so, please provide details. Ideally, I wanted to do something very simple along the lines of, "you're not the right person? "Does not the good product?" and "I already bought" incorporated in the body of the email and they would click comes from there.

If he ends up by not being is not an option as possible or efficient, I don't want to waste time trying to choose which survey provider would be the best and to put questions, etc., through our marketing communications department.  I saw another Eloqua channel where someone thought hypothetically investigations would not work, but I'm looking for a practical example, where it has been tested.

Thank you very much for your help!

I have seen that generally surveys do not perform that well, compared to other types of content, regardless of the audience. That said, to answer your question in the word: No.

I like the idea of offering a piece of content that has really good - made useless to create something new, just take a look at the latest books white/videos, etc., which have done well among your other piled up and offer. There is a great case study, you can read about a campaign to re-engage the Eloqua marketing team has done some time here: How are you doing your sluggish contacts?

Hi, I got my subscription for the year running last for Photoshop and Lightroom. Because I had the good idea to download the version of Photoshop CC 2015 (I thought it was just an update...), I get to the evaluation period.

I would like to know, when this period expires, will I get my purchased version back or should I get a new subscription?

  • Restore my HP Pavilion laptop to factory settings it is a good idea?

I recently accidentally changed my default settings of the police, I did everything I could, except for the restoration of my hard drive to its default settings. However, since I bought this computer a year ago, I noticed faster internet and less connection issues, as well as some other problems fixed. I'd be willing to sacrifice my default settings for performance, so I was wondering if it would be a good idea to restore my computer to its default settings. Also, I currently do not have records to back up my data, so I'll need to do the same. Another thing, my HP Advisor advised me not to restore my laptop unless I really need to.
Yet one thing, lightning struck our House a few months ago. Unfortunately, I accidentally turned off my father the day before surge protector. Anyway, he destroyed all of our equipment to wireless internet, as well as the fan of my father. We then contacted AT & T and they sent us a few tricks, with phone, download order software online to make our internet work. I do not have these registered Web sites and I don't know how in the world I would like to reinstall that software. So, I was wondering if I drop everything this software if I did a factory restore.

I'm with your HP consultant. Restoring default values should be a last
Resort. If you need assistance resetting your fonts, start another thread for
which. I'm sure you will find the repair of fonts one relatively simple
task, compared to the restoration of your PC.

  • I think switching from Windows XP to Windows 7, but it seems complicated. Is this a good idea?

I want to get rid of my security Computer Associates software. It overload my system.

I believe that a combination of Windows 7 and Microsoft Security Essentials and Web of Trust would do a good job.

Switching from XP to Windows 7 seems complicated. Is this a good idea?

I would appreciate any advice. I am a former novice

    Thank you

Get rid of CA security software and do general maintenance on your system would probably go a long way to improve your computing experience.  See help! My computer is slow!

Unless you plan to buy a new computer with Windows 7 pre-installed, make sure that your hardware is compatible with Windows 7 (for the most part, this means that Windows 7 drivers are available; problems are more likely to occur with older laptops).  Download and run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor.

  • For some contacts, phone numbers are not displayed

    Hello

Happy to have the Atrix on gingerbread. It solves my problem of bluetooth. now I walked into something else, and I wonder if you can help...

    1. I noticed that for some contacts who have 4 phone numbers and 2 emails, phone numbers are jamed all together in a single line, rather than a list. no idea how to solve this problem? Moreover, contacts are already subject in my mail to google contacts.

    2. how to add a voice tag to a name/contact? I found my atrix had trouble recognizing a name and always messed with other contacts. So I want to find a way to make it easier for the phone to recognize when I say "Call xxx" (somewhat unusual for some non-English names)...

I thank very you much for your help in advance.

  • is the power line Networking is a good idea to build werkgroep netwerk with windows 7

    Hello

1-is the power netwerk line is safer than wifi or it has also some drawbacks.

2-can we replace cables in small business with power line newterk adapters or it is not a good idea.

3 can be power supply adaters also suspect to sniff.

    Thank you

"Broadband PLC" was the provision of access to internet via incoming food, not something that was very common or successful.

Your proposal is entirely internal is so different, for example, they refer to it "are on the same range" as ADSL. HomePlug PowerLAN solutions do not have something like this beach as it is designed to work with a main inner ring.

Yes, the technology is much improved and the standards are now closely identified. Most units also offer an encrypted mode that allows only of these units in a group sure talking to each other.

  • Searching for a contact through GUID on the REST API

After talking to some of the developers at Vidyard, it was obvious that there is a way that eloqua could really help us!

If taken Eloqua supported a way of searching for a contact based on the GUID of the cookie in the REST API, we could stop using the SOAP API in total. I wanted to just start a thread to see if anyone is looking for this feature? Any ideas would be appreciated!

  • Is it a good idea to add predefined effects using presetEffects.xml?

    Hello

I am currently working on a plugin using scriptUI.
One thing I do is add a control null, which have many options for expressions.

My basic problem is I want to sort them into groups for better ergonomics. The only way I found to do this, add some excerpts to presetEffects.xml. (please tell me if you know another way)

Presents all works. So great. But now, I think, is it really a good idea? My main concern is: will they stay there? When the user is updating to a newer version of AE they are replaced?

Y at - it other problems, that I should be aware?

    Thank you
    Jakob

If you would not add new effects to null-controller, I think that the best way to organize things, is to create custom predefined ( you can use this script )

store as a binary file inside your script, and then apply this preset.

  • is it a good idea to run the JAVA virtual machine inside the hypervisor?

If I want to write a global user inside the hypervisor platform and you want to reuse some java lib, it's a good idea to install and run the JAVA virtual machine as part of global programs of the user inside the hypervisor? Thank you.

Maybe you listen to the wrong people?

The ESXi hypervisor is pretty well stripped of the linux console you are talking about, there is a thin busybox linux like environment, but you are strongly advised not to run anything in there.

Performer of applications within this console may have all kinds of side effects such as severely affect the performance of your computer virtual guests.

Why the hell would you want to run the JAVA virtual machine inside the hypervisor? What is the reason why you want to do this? If it's because you get a better return, then you're wrong, the console becomes just a little bit of resources available on your host computer.

If this is to go directly to the features that the hypervisor provides then the VMA we're talking is the answer.

So getting back to your question initial for EACH use case that I can think it's a very bad idea.

  • Tables and frames, are that they still a good idea to use in design

What I know about SEO that they are not really a good idea.

They seem to be able to be done in css, so is the best way to go...?

    Aren't good ideas, especially executives.

Mainly, minimal tables used for data forms perhaps.

If you can do without, so it is best to do. If you must use then do so, but in moderation.

  • Why flash keys, not a good idea?

I'm trying to understand a problem I have with flash keys (especially as I don't want users to have to click twice to make them work), and I keep seeing messages (especially by Murray) asking if the poster knows that flash keys are not a good idea. However, I was unable to find an explanation as to why they are a bad idea. Can someone explain it to me in simple terms? I am very new to Dreamweaver and web development in general. I'm developing an intranet site for a specific user group where accessibility is not a huge problem.

    Thank you!

    > However, I was unable to find an explanation regarding

On a Web site accessible to the public, it is generally a very bad idea to build
the most essential part of a site Web - the navigation - technical
which may or may not be available on the client side. The only really
reliable is HTML, which will still work. Something else must be
    considered optional.

Of course, there is nothing wrong with the addition of CSS, images, JavaScript or
same Flash, but you must make sure that the pages work also without
These techniques. In many cases, it is possible to provide alternative
content, for example for images ' alt' attribute. Even the use of
Flash allows you to provide alternative content, but most of the people do not
use of this ability, either because they do not know it or they
Use a browser that does not support.

    > I am very new to Dreamweaver and web development in general. I am

Even on an intranet, it is IMHO important to take care of the standards and
usability problems. A good example is the typical "we all use IE in our.
' intranet, therefore optimize us the site for that. This may work for now and
Maybe more time, but what happens if one day the IT guy decide to replace
IE with a browser more advanced to improve the security of the intranet and
the productivity of enterprises? * kaboom *.

Apart from the web standards and optimization for a particular browser or
platform always means a lot of unnecessary work to do in the future.

  • Unnecessarily put in af:form usesUpload = true, a good idea

Anyone know if the attribute of usesUpload af:form true regardless if we use a tag af:inputFile a good idea?

    Why I asked:

We have set up a page template to can be used by many applications. The default model injects an af:form among others tag in an application page by using the template. Our applications via ADF feature libraries do use bounded workflows based on fragments of the page within the regions, in our application pages, which in turn use the page template.

Each bounded workflow functionality is really defined task flow itself. In theory the stubborn workflows can include a page fragment that uses the tag af:inputFile. In order to support the component af:inputFile the tag of af: parent must have form it's usesUpload attribute set to true. However, in the case of the page fragment the form tag does not in the fragment, but rather in the page template which includes the region containing the stubborn workflow. As such, seems, it turns out to be necessary in order for the page template / workflow support different delimited area use cases that may or may not use af:inputFile, we need the af usesUpload: form = true nevertheless.

But my concern is, there will also be bounded task flows which do not use the tag af:inputFile. So if we set usesUpload = true unnecessarily will be setting us up? Is it a bad idea to set it to true when you're not you transfer files?

    See you soon,.

    CM.

    Chris,

Within the ADF faces when there is a file in the MESSAGE, we do a backup of an AJAX post in a former type of coding for the publication of HTML form via an iframe hidden with multipart/form-data specified as its form. It's a more verbose mechanism and the syntax for the data transmission.

If the input file has no file or there is no inputFile components in the form, we do not have relief. We produce a regular XHR post to the server. So only when the MESSAGE actually contains a file there is no impact.

That said, it just doesn't feel good to always set usesUpload = true, even if you never ever use to download a file. Your first thought to include an attribute in an exculpatory as suggested by jurkiri is more elegant. It is the approach taken in the adf-richclient-demo.

The other approach, you mentioned (i.e., set the attribute on the tag form programmatically when a stubborn workflow is called) will involve a few extra minutes. However, the client library is smart enough to not joking don't not with the actual MESSAGE. Again, it is all in the ADF Faces.

Outside of the ADF Faces , it is a very bad idea to have always enctype = "multipart/form-data" on the HTML

    element.
It generates a bigger POST request because of the http headers, and it simply does not make sense.

    So bottom line:

In ADF Faces Rich Client, there is NO downside to always have usesUpload = true.

Outside the ADF Faces, his is a very bad idea.

In both cases, it is more elegant to just set usesUpload = true if really needed.

It is possible to select the notification sound for each contact email name?

You can set different sounds for ringtone and messages for each contact independently of the contacts application change a contact and then set the tone that you want under the header of message or ring.

For email, you can set a single sound of the sounds settings section. It is not possible to set different sounds for notifications by e-mail.
