• Is it possible to link the CTI to a nested sequence?

  I have a nested sequence, and I want to change the position of the keyframes based on what is on the main sequence. I'd like to be able set up the ICT in the main sequence, then go to the nested sequence and have the ICT at the same position, then make the change.

  I have a clip that I have edited first and put in AE CS5, I have several clips that are simultaneously, but in different places in the timeline, so the effects, like Colorista and looks, I would like to apply to all clips at the same time... is possible to link all of these effects, so I only have to update all others will change? * I know I pickwhip to each property, but it is tedious and just curious to know if there is a faster way...   It looks that you would benefit from the application of these effects to clips in a separate model and simply reuse this model in your main computer. This way you will also noticed faster and rendering as AE has to make them

  once and can then be cached results.

  If for any reason any can't you need to precompose, there is always the old but great script "CreateLinkedEffects", but beware that some properties of some plugins may be related (custom controls for most "Opacity on Time" in effects like Trapcode particular.)

  Another way to do

  1. Select all photos in the catalog

  2 dismiss a color label

  3. go to collections and multi select all your collections (ctrl)

  4. select images and give them a color

  5. return to the catalogue

  6. filter by color label - No

  Not really. You can link to a page or a named Destination, however.

  The ability to synchronize smart collections is the most requested feature on the official forum of feedback to Adobe.  Please add your vote and opinion on this subject: Lightroom: syncing ability of smart Collections in Lightroom Mobile / lightroom.adobe.com.  Who will be (modestly) make it more likely that Adobe will give priority to its implementation.

• Is it possible to link an image resized without having adapt automatically to the original image?

  I have two Adobe illustrator images that are very similar, the first is 5 inches wide the second to replace is 3 inches. I just place and put the image in InDesign, but I had to change forms and thicknesses as certain proportions of the image would be just too small.

  When I create a link to the file it is changing the image to adapt the existing framework of the largest. Is it possible the file repeat keeping the content of the new file to 100%. I know that I can use the grabber content to see how the content has been developed on the scale and fix it, but it's not boring where you will need to select "adjust the framework to settle later. InDesign, AFAIK, does give no warning to tell you than an image when relinked has been stretched to fit the image.

  It is in the application, under file management preferences. Check or uncheck the box to preserve Image Dimensions when reissue of links. When checked, the relinked image will be adjusted to the same dimensions as the old version (possibly distorted). When not checked, the new image will come with the same scale as the original factor, that resembles what you want in this case for me but I am not sure (this is often true for .ai files where it is made a change that moves an element, that affect the bounding box art and you have trimmed to art or bounding box rather than media).

  Sometimes, if what you want is a 100% zoom it's just easier to put the new image on the editing table and place it in position, remove the old.

I know how to put Word/Excel files in InDesign-related, but is there a way I could build a document using data merge?   Regarding the data merge, the answer is no. When a header field which has a "@" before the domain name, InDesign data merge function will import images that are people like .jpg, .tif, .eps .gif .pdf .png .ai; but will not import content such as .docx .doc .rtf or .txt. It is worth noting the help that Adobe (InDesign help |) Data merge) does not list what types of images will import as part of a data merge. Another additional note - if import a PDF or AI is many pages long as part of the merger of data, the merger will take only the first page of the PDF / I, and it is not a way to make the merger import a different page.

  I have a catalog project that I work on every two years. Each year the customer request I take pages 73-79 and renumber 1-7. There is no problem in the document that I made for her. The spreads are split and the pages renumbered.

  However, each time, we will change these pages, and I have to copy/paste the content in. I would remove the possibility of error. I don't want to miss an update because I did not select the entire document.

  So is it possible to say, link to a section of images and content so that they essentially reflect the other Document A of Document b?

  Don't know what version of ID that you are using, but if it's enough, new look in the content tool Collector. It gives you a place and link, function that does what you want as possible.

  Are you trying to show the PDF within the Flash Catalyst project, or providing a method to download?

  If you try to view the PDF in the CF, which is not possible at present. But you can provide a link to the PDF on a server and display it in a new window.
