Is there a wildcard?

I am looking for a wildcard for use at the breast to find in Appleworks 6. Is this one?

No, AppleWorks has not the ability to use a wildcard character.

  • Need advice from WildCard RegEx

I have a delicate situation where over a large body of code, spaces have been deleted inadvertently, so I need to find some words which must have a space after them, but now doesn't. In other words, I find errors.

So let's say I need to find all occurrences of the word 'and' who are missing space after d, that the word "and" would have normally. At first I thought that I could add a space after all occurrences of 'and', but 'and' is often in the middle of a longer word, so this would create more problems. If I want to find all occurrences of 'and' that run in the following as "then" or "compound" Word, ignoring normal bodies "and" with a space after, how I would set that in my search box? Is there a wildcard RegEx that recognize a character, but ignore a space?

    Thanks for any help.

  • Are there reasons why T/B could not support wildcard (* xyzpqr *) or regular expressions in search of content of e-mail?

When a string of characters, I'm interested, is buried in an e-mail, I would find these emails. It seems that as the code needed to find an email is already in place, it would take very little effort/code/support added to extend the search capabilities of more effectively, as it is available in spreadsheets.

This particular forum has these capabilities, suggesting that users find useful installation.

Are there reasons preventing these facilities being added to T/B? I find that the ability would frequently help me in search of my email.

FiltaQuilla both Expression search/GmailUI provide functionality, specifically the regular expressions.

FiltaQuilla aims to improve the message filters and has a useful side effect in improving the CTRL + SHIFT + f find. Research of expression increases the QuickFilter bar. Or rather weird global research assistance, but I work around this by using a Saved Search folder, where you use a dialog similar to the message filters and can make use of the enhancements offered by one of these modules.

  • Windows XP sp3 can not find a file that I know is there

Windows XP sp3 can not find a file that I know is there. I even copied the file to the desktop, but research still cannot find the file. He may not get indexed. But on a search for *.mp3, it will include this file. I've searched all files and folders, file name or name part and content, but the search is empty.

The reason why I asked is that this *.mp3 IS a 'partial file name.

If the file is an MP3 file (music), I doubt if you could ever find by searching for "contained in the file," then relevant chess is why it was not found using the complete file name or part of the name.

If the file is not hidden, the only other thing I can think is that there is some special characters in the name of the file that is not obvious when you look at it.

For example, there was quite a "Drunk Philly' in 1974 called hit"when will be I see You Again"by the three degrees. Let's say you have decided to appoint an this (3) .mp3 mp3 file. It would be a legal folder name, but a search for 3º.mp3 won't find it. This is because the name of the file, I used the 'degree' (Unicode 00B 0) symbol and the search string uses the symbol "masculine ordinal' (Unicode 00BA). These symbols are almost identical to the nekkid eye (can not use the actual word here), but not to a computer search engine.

Replace any part of the name of the file, except the extension using the * wildcard would make the search works, but if you have used the 'partial' name, includes all who is this character, which could cause the problem.

To test, I suggest renaming the file. See if research there now. If so, rename, go back to what you think it was--but use the keyboard, not copy and paste to get the name of "origin". Search finds now?

  • Can not enter wildcard (*) in the file selection dialog box when opening a file

It's something I've not seen before. I posted this question in the forum Autodesk AutoCad LT five days ago, but I got no answer at all. Because I'm not sure whether it is a Windows or a problem with Autocad, I thought I'll try to post here, too.

On one of our AutoCad workstations, when you open a drawing, we cannot enter a wildcard character (*) in the file selection dialog box to help unravel the drawings.

In other words, say there are 10 versions of a drawing with the number 5008. I should be able to enter the 5008 * and just see these ten designs. On this computer, when I try to type an asterisk (*), I get this error message: invalid character. The following characters are not allowed in file names: \ /: *? "<>

Now, I know that they are not allowed... but I don't mean to create a file name. I'm just trying to classify them. On our other RTE Autocad workstations, the wildcard character works fine.  What's up with this one? Y at - it a setting or a variable that controls this?

    Thanks - Kevin

  • Ignore CSR for installing Certificate wildcard in IDRAC6

    Hello

I want to install the wildcard for IDRAC6 certificate. We manage more than 200 DELL servers.

So get CSR and publish each possess the certificate makes no sense.

Does anyone know how to ignore CSR and install Certificate wildcard for IDRAC6?

Command line or GUI, both make me happy.

Maybe in the case of OMSA will be appreciated.

    Thank you.

Best solution.  I was able to download a certificate wildcard on 8 of our PE R710, R715 and R815 machines.  They are all iDRAC6.

The key is to increase the key length before you download the wildcard certificate.

Copy of key SSL and CRT (thus intermediate.crt files if necessary) files Linux host that has access to the RACADM utility

    Intermediate.CRT and concat your.crt

    Cat your.crt intermediate.crt > combo.crt

VI the combi.crt and make sure that there is a hard return between the two certificiates.

    -CERTIFICATE OF END-
    -BEGIN CERTIFICATE-

Increase the size of the key to modern SSL certificates

    racadm - r 192.168.rac.addr u root Pei yourPass config g cfgRacSecurity o cfgRacSecCsrKeySize 2048

    Download your private key

    racadm - r 192.168.rac.addr u root Pei yourPass sslkeyupload t 1 f your.key

    Download the certificate of Combo

    racadm - r 192.168.rac.addr u root Pei yourPass sslcertupload t 1 f combo.crt

This will cause a restart of the iDRAC.  It will take about 5 minutes to complete

Once done... *. example.NET certificate works

  • Search for Windows 7 can't find partial matches - when will it be fixed or is there a workaround?

Windows (in Windows 7 and Vista) search will find only a partial file name (and the file content I guess) match if the text is the beginning of the string. He won't find a string in a file (the file content?) name. This diminshes greatly the value of research and thought that he would have been treated here.

    Example:

    I have a file named invoicenumber12345.doc
If I search on invoicenumber file appears in the results. If I look on number12345, 12345 or any other subset of characters that appear in the name I get nothing.

It is therefore impossible to find files based on partial knowledge.

    Example:

I know that I have sent a letter to Joe Smith, but I can't because I named the file lettertojoesmith.doc
Due to the limitation of the search, if I'm not rememer the exact file name (or at least that it starts with "letterto", I couldn't find - then what is research?) Through structure file names so that you know how to find totally defeated RESEARCH capacity.

Does anyone know when this limitation will be addressed or whether there is a solution?

You can use wildcards like? and *.
In your case: search for * 12345 or * joe * smith.

In fact, it is more flexible that a simple search on partial file names.

  • Wildcards in rule conditions

I have several virtual machines that I know will never get VMware tools installed, so I want to remove them from the alarm. I managed to get the rule work if I add ' | '. Thank you!!

in your field of application of the rule, you could do the following:
VMWVirtualMachine where name! like '% LXACS '.

    Hi Dan,.

I don't think you can use wildcards here.

Please see the integration Guide to 9.4. Section: "REST API-> Quick Reference.

You will find a table of what features are supported for resources exposed by the API. There you will find a line for "All Service elements", and you will see that: get all the, sorting, paging and all filters are supported; Search for names of wildcards are not...

When I came across this situation, I guess I'm trying to do a generic name search here... and it is not supported. This, however, works for the other columns (Designer if created), which is what, in my view, that documentation is trying to describe. (Although, personally, I feel that it is a bug).

  • Wildcard AAA Client ACS4.1

Hi I am trying to solve the following problem:

I use ACS for authority accounting & administrative support to network devices, and I would like to distinguish which users have access to devices. I have about 2500 network devices in my network, and instead to add each one to the DB of the CSA, I created a generic client AAA with IP *. *. *. *.

It has worked well so far, extremely simple installation, I know, but now I want to add FWs and other sensitive devices and restrict access using NAR. The idea was to create new AAA customers for each type of device and deny access to restricted groups with NAR. The problem is that when you define new groups of an IP address conflict is detected with generic AAA client.

Is there another way to solve this problem outside the importation of all network devices and create NDG? That's what I wanted to avoid.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Niels

    Niels,

First of all, I would not recommend to have this kind of facility. Anyone can plug aaa-client and send many wondering of acs caused a delay in the processing of legitimate applications. It's like opening the doors of the CSA for everyone.

For your question, there is no way that you can add separate IP since wildcard covers the full range.

Best way is to download your aaa devices. You can use the RDBMS synchronization to download everything at once.

    Other easy way is to add networks like, 10.5. *. * / 30.34. *. * / 30.35. *. *

    Kind regards

  • Could not import the Wildcard on SAA certificate

    Hi all

I'm trying to implement a GoDaddy Wildcard (*. mydomain.mytld) cert for a number of clubs, among which there is our ASA. I put away the old certs and did some housekeeping on their trustpoints, etc., with the result pretty much own config. (I'm on 8.3).

I needed to register for the cert in a different area (Exchange 2010) and I exported the cert in cisco-pasteable format REB to make it ready for deployment ahead on the ASA. Here's what I've done (with cry ca debugging on), causing a failure to import the wildcard certificate. Can anyone shed light on what I'm doing wrong? What I was doing was essentially installation TP for root and intermediate and then import the actual device cert.

  • Is there a way to combine multimedia files 'unlock '?

    Hello

I do a lot of downloading the files of audio and video media for e-commerce courses.

I noticed that they are first "blocked" automatically because they are downloaded. I have a lot of these files and when they blocked the Player Windows Media will notice recognize them until they are "unlocked."

I've been unlocking them individually, but it is extremely time consuming.

So, I was wondering if anyone knows how to unlock these files blocked media in a group or something like the mass change options in some programs of meta date.

Is there a command prompt code that could unlock all media both files.

This would save me a lot of time that I can use easily for other more important things.

If it is not a command prompt code can we do?

  • Question about the use of wildcards to the left side LIKE in SQL

First of all, let me apologize because I posted this question earlier here and the question has been moved to the SQL forum.  Unfortunately, I do not have the possibility to answer or post a question in this forum, so I find myself in need to repost it here:

If I use the select statement of the suite I get a double line:

    SELECT * FROM DUAL WHERE '%' LIKE '% ';

But if I use the suite I get no line:

    SELECT * FROM DUAL WHERE '%' LIKE 'A % ';

I guess that this % on the left acts as the '%' character and no comparison of character models.

Is it possible to make it act as the wild-card operator, when it is placed on the left side of this TYPE?

Then someone asked me what was my goal and if I could use REGEX.  Here's what I'm trying to do in general:

I need to create a query similar to the following:

    WITH Constraint_Search_Input AS

    (

Some_Id SELECT 'ABC', '%' Some_Other_Id OF the DOUBLE

    )

    SELECT *.

    OF Constraint_Search_Input

    WHERE Some_Id = 'ABC' AND Some_Other_Id LIKE 'a % '.

    ;

Where the ID in the WITH are an entry from our processes and clause ID WHERE are stored as a set of constraints stored in a record in the database.

The query is constructed dynamically, so a possible scenario represented in above the simplistic example, is that I received a single ABC for Some_Id entry and number of entry whether for Some_Other_Id but it the constraint (= 'ABC' AND Some_Other_Id LIKE 'A %' Some_Id) stored in the DB.  I then generate the query then because Some_Other_Id is part of the constraint that I need to add it to the entry that I build in the WITH of the query clause.

I know that I can find ways more developed and complex execution of this match up of entry constraints, but I'm just trying to take advantage of the database to make it in the simplest.

    Thank you

    Thomas

https://docs.Oracle.com/database/121/SQLRF/conditions007.htm#SQLRF52142 the model is on the right and the value you want is on the left, you cannot use wildcards to the left.

What is the requirement of real business here? You have presented how you want to solve it, but find it does not work, there may be a more appropriate method.

  • Possible to use a wildcard to select all columns?

I have a large table dénormalisée with 108 columns.  I know I can "select * from ' to display all values in column, but is there a shorthand notation to select all columns except the first?

    I know that I can:

    Select * from table;

    But if I don't want col1, I do this:

    Select col2,

    col3,

    COL4,

    ...

    col107,

    col108

    table;

Is it possible to do something like that? :

    Select (* less col1) table.

The reason why I ask, is that I write a few features to "clone" the rows of the table.  I wrote an insert that looks like this:

    Insert into my_table (col2, col3, col4,... col107, col108)

    Select col2, col3, col4,... col107, col108

    from my_table

    where col1 = 123;

I do not insert col1 in the table because I have a trigger and sequence that it will fill in automatically.

Is there a shorthand notation that I could use here to avoid having to type "col2, col3, col4,... col107, col108 '?

There is no wildcard character that will do what you ask, but this does not mean that you must manually type the 100 column names.

Instead of doing something like this:

    SELECT column_name | ',' Of all_tab_columns WHERE table_name = 'YOUR_TABLE_NAME_HERE' AND column_id > 1 ORDER BY column_id

Cut and paste the results in your SQL statement as required.

  • Short: activate the wildcard search

    Hello world

I have an Oracle Linux 6.6 3 components installed:

    -Oracle short Server 7.6.1

-Oracle short discovered Information Integrator 3.1.1

-Oracle short Information discovered Studio 3.1.0

I'm sorry if this is too newbie...

I want to activate the on an attribute wildcard search to locate text in the middle of words (for example, * in * would correspond to 'find').

    I found a page with a few tracks: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E40518_01/server.761/es_dev/toc.htm#Configuring%20wildcard%20search%20in%20record%20search

However, I don't know how to proceed. This page shows an example of use of a web service request (' soap: envelope "). You could point me please in the directions? Do I have to create a graph, adding components "Universal Data Reader" and "Web Service Client"?

I'm sorry if the question seems vague, but I am a bit lost...

    Thank you

    Fausto

    Dear Fausto,

You have found the necessary information and are very near doing this task. You are also right in the doc, while we provide information on the level of WEb Services, it not there no procedure end-to-end in the Integrator user's Guide. The reason for this is because this procedure relies on the use of the standard Integrator component (not a component EID created). The component that you can put in the Integrator to send in the XML graph is called Web Services Client.

    Below, I describe the steps.

    Context:

To activate the search by wildcard characters, you must set the schema property for the configuration of indexing to true. It's the mdex-property_TextSearchAllowsWildcards. Must be true for the wildcard search is activated.

This property is one of several properties on the GCR (record of the Global Configuration), which is used by the indexes of the Dgraph.

To change this property, there are several ways: using SOAPUI, or graphic Integrator with the Web Services Client component. The two methods are described below.

    1. with the help of SOAP UI for the Web Service of Config for the loading of the DGC (Configuration global registry, which is an XML document)

You can use any Web Service, such as SOAP UI user interface tool and that it points to the Dgraph running. In this document, you can access the Configuration Web Service with this URL:
: /short-server/ws/config / ? wsdl (this is documented on the "On the Web Service Setup").

Then, you can send the RCMS of together again to the Dgraph, using the putProperties of the Config Web Service operation. See this topic for info; It uses the same operation for the addition of configuration XML documents: load the schema of attribute

Then, in the SOAP UI, you can issue a query similar to the following:

    <>

    "xmlns:config ="http://www.endeca.com/MDEX/config/services/types/3/0"

    xmlns:MDEX ="http://www.endeca.com/MDEX/config/XQuery/2009/09" >. "

    true

2 using the Integrator and its graph based on XML, for loading XML documents. For info, see this topic and some subjects beneath him.

The Integrator user's Guide > data domains configuration > Global Configuration record, you will see that this implies essentially to create a chart that uses a Web Services Client (it is a component of standard clover you can use), to load the same RCM document that you free of charge if you use SoapUI.

For the WebServiceClient component, specify a string similar to the following in the name of the component operation field:

Notice that this string includes a namespace target for the Web service that faithfully reflects the major Web service as version / 3 in this example (you must have this web service as version 3.0 too, but please check what version of the WS Config you use.) In the Installation Guide for server short 7.6.1 you can see how to check it: list of Web Services of short and their versions

    I hope this helps!
